I always wondered how the inside of a bees nest would look like. Well Shug's is as close to what it would look like as I can get. This place is buzzing with customers coming in and out of the building. The drive-thru lines are wrap around the corner. The employees are taking and filling orders all in a synchronized ballet. Seeing all of this made me want to try Shugs out even more, so glad that I did. The selection is very impressive and even though they specialize in bagels, you can get sandwiches in wraps, or a roll. I definitely will be coming back Classic Shug- Super tasty breakfast bagel consisting of egg, cheese, bacon, and a crunchy hash brown. Never had a breakfast sandwich with a hash brown stuffed inside of it. But I love the idea Chicken cutlet Pesto- This is a must try, the crispy chicken cutlet combined with FRESH mozzarella cheese, tomato, pesto and the balsamic vinegar. You couldn't hate on this sandwich if you wanted to. Everything about this sandwich was perfection

If you love bagels, you will love Shug's. I order bagels every weekend at home, so when visiting Dallas, I saw this place and had to stop. The parking lot only has 4-5 spaces, but the drive thru option is great too. You can also park on the side street or across the street and easily walk over. When you walk in, the menu is written on the wall plus staff is there to help you. They have some bottled drinks to grab in a fridge by the entrance as well before you checkout. Checkout was easy with a quick tap and go machine that a staff member will hand you. The menu has tons of breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches. The HP Special was SO good: Sausage, egg, and cheese with your choice of cream cheese or avocado on a roll, bagel, or wrap. I got mine on an Everything bagel with cream cheese AND avocado. The bagel sandwich is huge, filling, tasty, and will keep you full for many hours. I visited at noon on a Thursday, and it was busy, but the staff moves FAST and cranks out orders nonstop. You won't have to wait long. There is some seating to enjoy your bagel, but I ate mine in the car since it was busy. All orders are given in a brown paper bag; easy to take anywhere. This one is 5 stars for all you bagel lovers!

I love coming to the Shug's window in the morning before heading into the office. The staff is always happy and welcoming, making me feel like one of the besties. I have tried a bit of everything from breakfast, lunch, to snacks and sides. Quality is always top-tier. Must try: Potato Cones If it's your first time, the original Shug's breakfast sandwich is a great place to start (and there's a reason it's the most popular). You can also get it as a wrap or on a croissant if you're not in the mood for a bagel. Overall, Shug's has done an amazing job bringing life back to this space that used to be the old Great American Hero location. It's become one of my go-to neighborhood spots, and I'm always happy to support it.

After moving to Dallas in May, I heard from my coworker about this bagel place Shug's Bagels. I'm from Jersey so I was skeptical, but it ended up being really, really good. I'm very impressed with Texas so far! The chicken sandwich with egg was awesome. The staff were super friendly and we got our order quicker than expected. Perfect breakfast spot, I prefer it over First Watch because it reminds me of home. Good vibes, good atmosphere, definitely will be returning for more!

Stopped here for a quick bite before running errands before 9 am on a Saturday ! There was no wait despite the bustle .Seating is limited as the inside is like a little bakery. The bagel options are plentiful and they look delicious! I got the French toast bagel with ham egg and plain cream cheese. It was better than I expected and I had very high expectations.! Bagel sandwich was about $10 ! There were also plenty drink options as well. I would definitely return!

Excellent bagels and super-friendly service. I may have found the best bagel shop in Dallas. The space was packed on a Sunday, yet the ordering and pickup process was impressively efficient. I savored every bite of my bagel and lox. Amazing quality and texture. Five stars.

Swore I had reviewed here already but always a great option for a breakfast bagel! Mornings are crazy so I try to order ahead. They sometimes even get backed up with that and it can take a while to get your order but it's well worth the wait. No chance of sitting inside though so just take it to go! The bagels are always fresh and filling and I love to customize and make it a bit different each time. Just wish they had an Asiago/cheese bagel!

Fast dynamic service from staff that you can just "feel" that they work as a well oiled machine - lol. Bagels were everything you wish for in a bagel - tasty, fresh, chewy and filling choices to match. I had the jalapeno cream cheese and was overjoyed to see that it was simply "chunks of jalapenos in cream cheese". Not artificially flavored- not halved jalapeños - not over complicated- just perfect! My better half had the Shug bagel and I don't normally choose an "all in" breakfast but this time I was tempted to swap! Definitely run - not walk to this place!

I tried Shug's bagel and was excited. I ordered on-line and I am glad I did because place was pretty crowded ( which was a plus) I ordered the Spicy Turkey Club Bagel on an everything bagel with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack, and chipotle mayo, plus an Arnold Palmer. The bagel itself was good and filling, and the sandwich had solid ingredients. That said, it felt a little pricey for a bagel sandwich and tea especially since the Arnold Palmer lacked sweetness and flavor. Total came to $20, which didn't quite match the overall experience i expected. I might give it another try for breakfast, hoping prices are a bit lower.

Been here a few times, love the interior. I had no idea they had rainbow cookies! Def something to try next time. Unfortunately my friend's order came out wrong and we didn't know until we got home supposed to be a modified spicy shug, there wasn't spicy or bacon on it. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an egg bagel which was perfect for after an early workout. Update: customer service is 5 stars! I did not leave my comment expecting to get a response so quickly and for management to be unreasonable in making it right immediately. Thank you!!

If you're looking for a place to grab your team some breakfast, Shug's Bagels is the place to go. Grab the bakers dozen. They also make it super easy to order, I was able to order online, and pickup on the way to work. SUPER EASY, and everyone is so kind there. Also, if you love big back activities like myself....you get yourself the Shug Bagel ‍ THE WAY I TORE THIS UP The bakers dozen was the perfect amount of bagels, and I'm obsessed with their egg bagel and the french toast one. For the Shug Bagel, I got the egg bagel, swapped out the bacon for sausage, and loved every moment. They know what they're doing by adding a hash brown in there Now I grab a coffee everywhere I go, I like my coffee a bit more blacker....a bit more stronger...so I'll stick to the food when I come here I'll definitely be back, I got more things to try.

Shug's Bagel is always worth the long wait. We ordered on door dash this time and it took about an hour to come. We got the spicy shug bagel and the chopped cheese. Everything is always so delicious and fresh tasting. Always recommend shug's to everyone in Dallas.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. Service here was really good, although I was a bit put off by the long line wrapped around the inside of the store. However, I was able to walk right past it to an easy checkout. Parking here, in my opinion, was easy. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this Eatzi's location in Dallas, and also hope Eatzi's returns to Houston one of these days.
