They allow people to talk on their cellphones while in the waiting rooms. Want to hear what Grandpa Norma Jean is telling Bucky for 45mins....:/! They don't do sign-ins on the computer which makes everyone's appt looked mixed up with sloppy penmanship and patients coming in behind you writing the same check in time as you (who goes first?!). Whomever is the office manager at this establishment needs to hire someone with a greater business acumen and overall common sense. This office is not run in a highly effective and efficient manner. Dr. Bob discussed my family medical history- parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and siblings. Only then did he proceed with a thorough exam, Rx review, and due to history of heart problems, gave me an EKG right there in his office and went over it with me before I left. If I call them sick, they have never failed to see that same day. If something comes up last minute and I can't make a scheduled appt. I have never been charged. I have gone in for check ups and before leaving, he would say "Anything else we need to look at today?" and I would tell him about a concern I was having and he would come back and check this out, too. I don't just consider him my doctor, I think of him as my friend. And lest you assume I was paid to write this, he has too much integrity to even think of asking a patient to do that!

I chose PT Solutions of Dallas because of proximity to my home and based on recommendations from trusted sources. I went with expectations of professionalism and compassion and received the exact opposite. From the moment I walked in the door, I was met with paperwork that seemed unending and then told I had to pay out of pocket $570 for the initial visit, $350 dollars for the next 3 visits, and $75 each subsequent visit. I did not receive a call from anyone prior to my appointment explaining my insurance benefits and was told this is what I would have to pay or I could just get billed. My understanding is we only owe a co-pay with our plan and have met a deductible but no one at the site seemed to have knowledge of our coverage. I did receive an evaluation from a PT that only lasted approximately 20 minutes during which the PT was very distracted with other clients in the gym. I felt I was ignored and he wasn't listening to me about my symptoms. I did not receive any education about my condition or new information to guide me in my exercise program. I had already received a home program from my orthopedist, and this PT did not review or contribute in any way to the program. At the end of the session, he performed a manual technique that caused extra pain and did help my symptoms. He was very unresponsive to my questions and dismissive. The gym was crowded, and I was also handed off to an assistant to perform exercises that were very difficult for me but the PT was not attentive and confusing in his communication. Would not recommend this location at all and very disappointed in my experience.

I called a couple places that had been recommended to me...they all seemed frustrated with my questions. Then, I called DownEast Smile Company and inquired about them accepting new patients. Not only were they accepting new patients, but Cheyenne was very accommodating and helped me verify my insurance was accepted. To add the cherry on top, I was able to schedule an appointment the next day! Not even kidding! Fast-forward to yesterday, I had my teeth cleaned by a super thorough and friendly hygienist named, Jenni. It also should be noted that they have a lot of technology that MAKES the patient experience... From massaging dental chairs to portable x-ray machines to 3-D images of your teeth. High five! I was also able to see Dr. Merandi yesterday, And let me tell you... I felt like I had been her patient for years and immediately trusted she had my well-being in mind. Dr. Merandi, Cheyenne, and Jenni all provided an elevated patient experience. The building is GORGEOUS. The rooms are COMFY. The hours are CONVENIENT. The atmosphere is WELCOMING.
