I contacted LaserAway after being directed to their team by the collection agency handling the account and provided documentation explaining that this was fraudulent. What is especially concerning is that the date of birth associated with the patient/account was **not my date of birth**. I asked LaserAway a very straightforward question: **What identification was verified when this service was purchased, and how did my personal information become associated with this account?** I sent **multiple emails requesting an investigation and a written response**, including asking how the patient's identity was verified, what identification was provided, and what steps LaserAway was taking to address the issue. Other than contact from the provider, I received **no meaningful response from LaserAway**. I had to file a police report and disputes with the credit bureaus and collection agency to address the situation, and the fraudulent account negatively affected my credit and caused significant stress. For a company handling customers' personal and financial information, I find the lack of communication extremely disappointing. I expected LaserAway to take an identity/fraud complaint seriously and provide basic answers about how my information became attached to an account that was not mine. **I would strongly encourage LaserAway to improve its process for handling identity theft and fraudulent accounts, as well as its communication with customers who are trying to resolve these issues.**

I've been here twice for their IPL treatment. Both times, the staff has been kind and professional,…read moreeven when I ended up 15 minutes late for an appointment. The first time, they treated me on an IPL machine that targeted brown spots. I noticed the effects right away, with my freckles appearing darker before they eventually came off a week later. During my second appointment, they booked me with a dual IPL machine calibrated towards both reds and browns. This also worked well with my skin. Since I am of asian decent, I am of higher risk of side effects when IPL is not administered properly, so the staff was very careful and considerate. Pain wise, I would rate this treatment a 6/10. Not pleasant, but not traumatic either. Forewarning for those considering IPL to target redness and spider veins: while you might notice a decrease in redness, my aesthetician informed me that this effect is temporary! Eventually the veins will resurface :( Both appointments were quick and easy, and I am very satisfied with the results. side note-- this is definitely a side effect, but I also noticed that the hair on my upper lip was zapped away and never really grew back post-treatment. Called back today and was told right off they don't take market place insurance (Obamacare.) I don't have that kind of insurance. Even after telling the girl that answered the phone what kind of insurance I had she had to place me on hold several times to talk with the office manager. She came back on the line and told me they don't accept my insurance. So I called my provider. Sure enough this office is in my network. So my provider called them and conferenced me in after explaining to the new person that answered the phone that they did accept my insurance. Then they tried to say that the Dr. Goodman wasn't accepting new patients. That was a lie because a) He was the doctor at the event trying to get new business and b) the first girl I spoke to said he was booked until the middle of October but he was available after that.
