Shopped at this store after eating nearby. It was the perfect shop for me to grab a baby present for friend. Her little one was born right here in Gilbert and I was able to get a nice little onsie for him. Overall we had a good time in this store. The worker, Lydia was super sweet. She is recent transplant for North Carolina and quickly learning Arizona culture. She was so kind to wrap the gift. We had a fun time exploring this shop and trying on different hand creams. We also loved the free buttons given out here that focus on Arizona pride.

Why I Love Where I Live is a women-owned boutique store that specializes in "goods to spark gratitude and curiosity while you find the beauty where you live." Why I Love Where I Live's founder, Kristin was born and raised in the Phoenix area and married a native Tucsonan, Alex. This WILWIL location opened in October in The Epicenter and is the second WILWIL location. The first one is in Tucson. The boutique features tons of locally made products such as candles, soaps, clothing, and more. There's a nice variety. They also have a section of local history books. I picked one up about Gilbert and have learned a lot about the history of Gilbert from it. I recently brought my husband to the store and he ended up purchasing a beautiful Arizona keychain, which he immediately used. The products are fairly priced and the service during both visits were great. Friendly and helpful. I love gifting local items to friends and family for special occasions, so I will definitely be back to shop!

UrbAna is owned by a Phoenix local couple, Ana and Brian. They have locations in Arcadia and Scottsdale. Hubs and I were taking a leisurely stroll through The Epicenter and decided to pop in to UrbAna. We were immediately welcomed by a pleasant fragrance, which we later learned was a candle by Koko's Candles, another local, women-owned business. Spoiler alert, we bought the candle. From candles and party supplies to coffee table books and kitchen supplies, the boutique has everything you need for hosting. Everything is high-end and luxurious, and the prices reflect that. They also have a dedicated section for Arcadia Toys, which is their children's toy line. We loved discovering items we didn't know we needed and will definitely keep UrbAna in mind next time we need unique home goods and gifts!

I even had my 4 year old with me and he played in their play area the whole time (amazing)! As a busy full time working mom I'm obsessed w this place and coming here all the time when I need a last min gift. Tysm!

Within moments, she told me I had a great aura, along with a few other things that honestly left me surprised. From that point on, our conversation flowed as if we had known each other for years. She is one of the most polite, professional, kind, and respectful people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Blue Planet has apparently been in downtown Chandler for many years, and I'm honestly shocked I've never noticed it before because I'm in the area all the time. The shop is full of unique items, many of them made by local artists and members of the community. They have T-shirts, coffee, popcorn, keychains, clothing, Arizona-themed gifts, and so many fun, one-of-a-kind treasures. If you're looking for easy gift ideas, this is the place. It's perfect for Christmas stocking stuffers, thoughtful gifts, or for taking out-of-state visitors who want to bring home a special Arizona souvenir. I especially loved the beautifully carved Arizona shaped cutting boards they make wonderful gifts. The shop is located just a couple of doors down from SanTan Brewing, making it an easy stop while you're enjoying downtown Chandler. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Rula will make you glad you did. Her professionalism, kindness, and ability to make customers feel welcome is exceptional. If she isn't already the store manager, she certainly deserves to be.

In November, my daughter purchased a bracelet for me as a Christmas gift. Within just a few months of light wear, the magnetic clasp failed to fasten properly. By February, the issue had worsened to the point where the bracelet was no longer functional. When I brought the item to your store at SanTan Village, I was assisted by Fiona Carr. Unfortunately, my experience with her was extremely unpleasant. She was dismissive, rude, and condescending in her communication. Despite the product clearly being defective, I was told it had to be sent out for repair rather than replaced. After waiting four weeks, I received the bracelet back, only to find that the clasp issue persisted. When I returned to the store with my repair receipt and explained that the problem had not been resolved, Fiona again insisted it be sent out for repair. I demonstrated that even the display versions in-store had similar fastening issues, including the same style with a topaz stone. Reluctantly, I agreed to exchange the bracelet for a different one (blue instead of topaz), even though it was not what I originally wanted. By this point, my only goal was to avoid any further interaction with the store. During the transaction, Fiona's behavior remained unprofessional. She dropped the receipt in front of me without acknowledgment, and when I thanked her, she turned away without response. This level of discourtesy is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed--not only in the declining quality of your jewelry, but more importantly in the lack of basic customer service standards demonstrated by a store representative. This experience has permanently damaged my perception of your brand, and I will not be returning as a customer. I strongly urge you to address both the product quality issues and the conduct of your staff.

Sad news! April 14 2026 Painted Tree announced a country wide closure filing chapter 7 bankruptcy…read more I've always loved shopping at these boutiques and supporting small businesses while looking for unique gifts. I'm only giving two stars today because I personally know some vendors that had just settled in after setting up and decorating their space- only to have them told, that Painted Tree is closing and you have to get all your stuff out asap. Understandingly, most vendors were shocked and upset. This follows other recent stores that closed featuring handcrafted goods- Ivy and Sage Lifestyle Company in Gilbert also closed their doors Feb 21st and Reel Deals on HIgley Road shut their doors too. I feel for all the hard working vendors who put their love into creating their products and now have to scramble to find new ways to show and sell their work.
