Love this spot. Fantastic fresh meals and sandwiches; can be pricey for a "deli", but it's worth it in my opinion.

Great food and excellent value. Portions are big for lunch. Always something new each day. Chicken pot pie is awesome!

The prime rib, when they have it, usually Thursdays, is as good as in any expensive restaurant.

Route 100 Market is convenient, easy to access, and has a broad offering for a "gas station": a full in-store deli, beer cooler, pre-made food, and a wide variety of snacks. It's very similar to the 'Flory's' chain of stations. And I wonder why more stations don't copy this format. My biggest complaint, and why it only gets/deserves three stars, is that the prices are just crazy talk. Everything is overpriced. Ok, so you're paying for its convenience, and if you need gas and/or food at 2am when nothing else is open you're probably less likely to grumble about the price. But I don't know... it feels like the prices are just on the other side of "acceptably high for the convenience tradeoff". My other complaint is that it seems like all of the pre-made sandwiches have lettuce and tomato on them. I can work with the lettuce, but tomatoes? No. "You're complaining about tomatoes? Isn't *that* crazy talk?!". I don't think so. Hear me out. Because the prices are just too high, I only visit Route 100 Market when I need to grab a quick bite. The pre-added tomato makes all of those sandwiches soggy. And that means they're ruined. Unless it's a BLT, not every sandwich needs tomato. So, there ya go: Prices are too high; sandwiches have tomatoes.

Cocktail hour was wonderful and hors d'oeuvres were delectable; I don't do mammals and had to steer clear of prosciutto & melon and totally avoid "steak chick" but the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes were incredible. Dinner was even better with all options accommodated on the twin buffet tables: plenty of mammal-free dishes! Wild and long grain rice, poached salmon, chicken Française, butternut squash and penne al dente with broccoli. The broccoli was so tender and perfectly steamed, not at all mushy or faded and the chicken was so tender it would cut with the side of a plastic fork. It meant a lot that Brian was there to personally supervise and unlike some catering managers who are rude to patrons and treat the servers like servants (looking at YOU, Mario Cermele) Brian was courteous, polite, congenial and truly accommodating. I think next time I host a party at the house, instead of busting ass to prepare all the food myself I will call Brian..... but only if Steak Chick is part of the staff! LOVE HER!
