Wholly Crepe did an amazing job at my daughter's birthday party! The crepes were absolutely delicious, and our guests loved them. He arrived on time and was friendly, fast, and efficient throughout the entire event. Everything ran smoothly, and he was such a wonderful addition to the party. I would highly recommend Wholly Crepe for any event! read more

The bacon on the Southwest Crepe was perfectly crispy and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Loved the chipotle aioli on top to tie it all together. The crepe itself was thin and soft. Chicken pesto crepe was also tasty. Very friendly owner made our crepes to order, and we did not have to wait long for our food. There are tables indoors as well as outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade or full sun picnic tables. Will definitely come back to try the sweet crepes or a sandwich next time! read more

Stopped by after a run on a Sunday morning to try the crepes. We got a couple of savory ones and one sweet one. The crepes were fine but the employees could use more training. We went at the start of summer so the employees were all teenagers. While they did their job, they weren't confident in what they were doing. It could also be because the manager/owner was standing behind them the entire time. The teenagers also made cheering gestures when a group of people left without ordering anything after looking at the menu. It didn't give very welcoming vibes. I'm not sure if I'd come back, even if I'm in the area again. There are so many options for crepes nowadays, it only makes sense to get them from someplace I really enjoyed. read more

My husband was there today to get some breakfast crepes this morning and an employee came into the restaurant directly from outside and proceeded to grab something and started to prepare food. When he saw my husband watching him he proceeded to put on gloves. Flys were in the kitchen and landing on the food. When my husband got back with the food, he decided not to eat it and go get something different. I don't think we will be eating there again. The restaurant has a score of 90 from the health department. read more

Fast/casual restaurant located in Poway, very close to where the weekly Poway farmer's market sets up. You take your order at the kiosk with an employee and then choose where to sit yourself. Pros: - Good amount of parking - Seem to use fresh fruit - Family owned & employ many Poway HS teens - Employees are very nice :) - Philly cheesesteak was pretty decent!! Do ask for extra cheese if you're a cheese lover ($1 upgrade charge) - Use reusable glass mugs for drinks (but also offers plastic straws for those who need them) Cons: - Crepes came cold - Offer Pepsi but not Coke (if that bothers you) - Tea is bitter - While you can order sides and extras, there are no "combo plates" for the crepes or waffles. We wish there was a sort of sampler/flight or a pick 2 halfs option - Boba for your drinks tends to be out often (or at least when I stop by) read more

Excellent crepes in a comfortable setting. A wide variety of savory and sweet delights. Very friendly crepes chef.

We got the Elmer's sandwich and a crepe; both were amazing. The sandwich was perfect, crispy, and a good mix of flavors! The crepe was also great. The service was quick and friendly. I would return and definitely recommend if you are in the area!! read more

Cute, small business. Seems like the owners hire a lot of local high schoolers, it's nice knowing you're supporting the community. Today I ordered the Majezti's Panini/Grilled Cheese (yum), the strawberry/banana/nutella waffle (double yum), and an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. Everything was ready quick and was fairly priced. read more

Delicious crepes in both savory and fruity styles, carefully prepared and earnestly served with kindness and friendliness. I always enjoy this place for lunch with a friend. Crepes are generous and splittable if you want a light lunch, not as high priced as some other local restaurants these days. The location in old Poway is charming and offers a great park across the street for an afternoon-lunch stroll. Picnic tables outside make this place feel like a quaint, small-town experience. read more

Bestie and I had an early lunch on a Friday afternoon at this place. Pros: ample parking, food came out quickly. Cons: not a lot of seating options. Meh: Food and drink options. We both got their Koffi crepe. It had breakfast sausage patty, avocado and something else as stuffing...not memorable apparently. It had a chipotle mayo inside and on top. Sausage was flavorful, but it wasn't cut up so it wasn't evenly distributed throughout. I think if they had cut up the pieces of everything, it would have been more enjoyable. It was weird sometimes getting the sausage, sometimes the avocado, it made the flavors off balance. Price was reasonable at least. read more

We came here while visiting the Farmer's Market. It's a quiet little place at the end of the market that did not have a wait when I went. I ordered the turkey pesto crepe and added an egg. The crepe was okay. It was quite salty. And even though I was the only customer at the time, it took awhile for my order. They did have a gluten free option which was nice so maybe that took a little bit longer. read more

The menu looks delightful but the product does not match the description. Ordered a mixed fruit crepe with mascarpone cream...with strawberry & chocolate sauces & whipped cream. The fruit selection was nice, but the main ingredient (the reason the crepe is $12.99) was noticeably absent without mention. Upon query, we were told whipped cream was substituted unapologetically. (It was already part of the description!) We won't be frequenting an establishment that employs "bait & switch" effectively! Not worth the visit! read more

It was okay. Went before the farmers market. I wanted a waffle but they said they were out. It only looked to be 2 people working so I'm not sure if they were just understaffed and that's why. I also ordered a latte but it tasted like regular coffee with oat milk. Ended up getting the turkey and pesto crepe. Huge portion. I couldn't finish it all but it was tasty. Go early to avoid the crowds. read more

Small breakfast joint in the Old Poway Park area on Midland Road. Has seating indoor and one table outdoor. This place offers savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, dessert and leige waffles. You can have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I got the kitchen sink ($11.69) under breakfast crepes. Has eggs, mushrooms, sausage, onions and crispy hashbrowns with chipotle sauce. Strawberry banana Nutella leige waffle ($10.69). Leige waffles are different than Belgium waffles because it's smaller with rounded edges vice rectangular and you could taste the caramelize sugar dough. It came with two waffles. On line menu said three. Also got the turkey pesto crepe ($11.69). Very good with pieces of chicken strips, crispy bacon and avocado. I got hazelnut latte and it wasn't the best but it was a big cup. Overall, I really liked the leige waffle. I'll have to come back Saturday when I'm at the farmers market. read more

As long as you have plenty of time, as preparation and service can be slow, the crepes and sandwiches here are quite good.

The service was close to none I barely got asked what I wanted, then when I ordered it and noticed the guy making my food didn't have gloves on and was touching everything so I had to ask them to put gloves on when that should be basic knowledge and food safety.. nobody wants to eat off the hands of a complete stranger especially when you don't even know if they've washed their hands. read more

This is a small little rustic looking place with surprisingly bomb crepes and paninis! Sadly it was only manned by 1 lady, she seemed to be struggling with the amount of orders since 2 parties came after us. **chicken pesto panini (5/5)** I was really indecisive between ordering this and another crepe but I'm glad I got it! EAT IT FRESH! (or else it might get lil soggy) Idk what else they put but pesto sauce is soooo savory n flavorful. Everything meshed together really well. The chips on the side is whatever, kinda just tasted like lays. **bacon & egg crepe (5/5)** The chipotle sauce they used was so freaking good too. I wish they give a little more sauce actually. They did not skimp out on the bacon tho and gave a shit ton (actually got a bit overwhelming). But overall it was very good **nutella crepes (3.5/5)** You can check in on yelp for free nutella crepes. It was pretty whatever and I didn't think the nutella was distributed that well. It does come with a little container of choco sauce. read more

Food: 4/5 Service: 2.5/5 Price: $10-15 Wholly Crepe is a small all day brunch/crepe restaurant in the Old Poway Plaza. Decent food, definitely passable for a quick brunch. Came in on Saturday just before noon during the farmer's market. The place felt pretty dirty; the table we sat at wasn't wiped very clean and there were several flies bothering us during our meal. I would have expected a cleaner restaurant since the place was nearly empty when we arrived and there were 3-4 people on staff. The utensils are those cheap white plastic ones that tend to break easily and the plates were disposable paper ones as were the cups, but they did the job. No complaints about the servers/workers themselves though. Zeta's - I actually enjoyed the sandwich a lot, generous amount of bacon & avocado. Bread toasted nicely. Decent pesto and turkey. I'm 99% sure the chips came right out of a Lay's bag, not really a complaint just an observation. Bacon & Egg Crepe - My gf ordered the crepe, we both thought it was just okay. I'd wager the sweet crepes are better, I just didn't like the taste/texture combo of the one we ordered. Also wish the filling had more variety. A fly landed on the crepe midway through the meal which was a little unappetizing, we cut that portion off. Overall decent spot for a quick brunch/lunch/dessert in Old Poway. Because of my poor experience with the overall cleanliness, I think takeout is the move. I will probably be back to try one of the other paninis, but will avoid eating inside in the future. read more

The crepes are pretty large and you do get a lot for the price. I also ordered what was supposed to be a Belgian waffle. Never again! They were very dry and dense. My friend ordered a cinnamon sugar crack. They didn't mention that the sugar is brown sugar, which really didn't go over well. She ordered a honey mustard chicken, which came with spinach. The spinach wasn't cooked, therefore making the crap very dry. This place has been here for a long time so needless to say I was very disappointed in the quality of the crêpes and can say been there done that. read more

Let me preface this HARD. I don't really prefer savory crepes. At all. I like dessert crepes to all heaven. So, that being said, I come here with a group for lunch, to a place called Wholly Crepe, and I don't order crepes. That may be my bad..... In any case, this is the fourth time I've been here the last being precovid. The first panini I got was great. The second time we went I was craving a panini and they were out. So, I left and went to the liquor store to buy candy and jerky and a snapple and sulk in my disappointment. I sat with my friends while they enjoyed their crepes and ate my jerky. Not happy. I was convinced to go again and as soon as we went in, the guy working the food and register pointed at me and said "we have paninis, don't leave." Ok, he remembered me which was a really good attribute. So I ordered a panini. And it was good. We went yesterday and they were closed for maintenance. So, we made a point to go back today. 6 of us ordered food. 4 of 6 ordered crepes. I of course ordered a panini. Apparently, because I am difficult. When I order he looks at me and says "you have been here before." I replied, yeah it's been a few years. This is a big bonus to be honest. He remembered me after more than 2 years. This is not a common trait and I really appreciate it. It took some time to get our food, but understand there seems to be 2 people working in the restaurant. The cook is the server and the host and the cook. And every once in a while you see someone that may be washing dishes or prepping. That being said, food was slow to get to our table. Now, the server cook busser host guy tries his absolute best to get all 6 of our orders to us at the same time and we all showed up at different times. This is admirable. I've worked food. Close to impossible. And this is where being understaffed starts to show. My sandwich was not what I ordered. Strangely just me. Everyone else was happy and got quiet eating. In restaurant terms that's a good thing people are hungry and enjoying their food. I wanted to mention to the server host cook (I'm guessing the owner) my panini problems but I saw how hard he was trying. Honestly, this is tough to accomplish with multiple orders in split times trying to sync everything up. Regardless, my panini was not a panini, it was a grilled sandwich. Buttery flat top grilled, and half of one side was very lightly over cooked, bordering burnt. So I wasn't stoked. However, the remainder of my party liked their crepes excluding the one other panini orderer who got the same thing I was delivered and also commented on the grilled sandwich. One of my friends got a desert crepe to share and it was actually really really tasty. After everyone left I approached our dude and told him of the mistake and he immediately tried to refund my order. Another huge bonus. And with that I refused the refund because I appreciate the personal touches which means this guy pays attention to the patrons, and got hammered by a large order. And I get it. He tried hard, and gave everyone except unfortunately the one person who reviews things a good lunch. But, he is working his butt of and trying and I know Poway is having staffing issues. So, even though I didn't get a home run, dang that dessert was good. And, if you go with a normal size group, and order a crepe, you'll probably get a really good meal. So Wholly Crepe makes good crepes. Whodda thunk. Maybe stick to that. :) You can't please everyone. Stick to what you are good at. :) The guy is trying hard and the namesake good was well received. That is why I am giving 4 stars. read more

Dirty: bathroom hasn't been cleaned in long time, the sink has dirty residue, walls are stained with dirt, toilet is stained and with crusty drops, just filthy. Sugar jar was crusted with dirt! I don't know about their sweet crepes, but the southwest crepe was extremely dry. The bacon wasn't chewable at all. Barely any sauce to balance it all. Barely any avocado. Solid breakfast. Very filling, large crepe. More like a pancake thickness than a crepe so it was extra filling. Overall ok. Was really looking forward to something more? Je ne sais quoi? Maybe fresher? Flavors just didn't pop. It was tasty-but-muddled...salty, creamy, carby and saucy but I really couldn't tell you what I ate besides eggs and brown chunks of unidentifiable things inside. But then again, I did order the Kitchen sink, lol! Ok for a quick bite if you are in the area and hungry but not worth the long drive from my house. Unfortunately, they were also out of milk? And caramel? So no caramel latte to go with my breakfast. Being out of cafe lattes first thing in the morning -9am on Sunday tho, is the main thing that lost them a star.
