You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. SO FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!! NEVER USING THEM, EVER AGAIN!!!

I used to be an owner operator for Allied Van Lines and because of my experience, I was expecting great service. And, I found it with All American Moving Company! I packed and disassembled my household goods and all they had to do was load, drive to the destination, and unload. Took 4 hrs at pickup and 2 hrs at destination. Mike, the owner was honest, thorough and professional in all areas from the beginning to the end. He's your go to guy for any concerns, comments, etc. Jacob, the driver, and his crew did an outstanding job and again, was professional, friendly, and considerate of our household goods. I highly recommend this moving company. They took care of my family and me by alleviating our worries through constant communication. Thank you All American Moving Company!

However, on the day of the move, no one showed up. After waiting over an hour past the scheduled time, We had to call them myself to find out what was going on; only then was I told the appointment had been canceled. There was no proactive communication, no courtesy call, and no effort made to notify me ahead of time. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of accountability or assistance afterward. They did not offer to help find a replacement or provide any solution, leaving me scrambling at the last minute. This level of unprofessionalism and poor communication is unacceptable, especially for a service as time-sensitive as moving. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

My husband and I had a quote from another company, but Efficient Moving was half the price! Plus, they took apart and put back together some pretty complex furniture for us. They charge only for what they move, so if you move your own things ahead of time or add more to your list (we did both of these things), you only pay for what work actually occurred. I used to move a lot for work and had company-paid "professional" movers that pale in comparison to these guys. I honestly can't imagine going with anyone else when moving. Unfortunately for us, this new house will likely be our forever home, so we won't be needing them again...but I wish we could hire them again and again! YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD. You won't regret it.

He performed an in-person walkthrough and gave an upfront quote on packing/moving costs, as well as the estimated length of time. A team of 3 movers had no issues packing, loading, and unloading all of my stuff. There was no damage to any hardware/furniture, and the final cost was right in the range of the estimate. Over the past 10-years, I've moved 7 times for work and this was BY-FAR the best moving experience I have ever had. American Moving is a gem, and I will absolutely use them again for any moving/transport/relocation needs.

I was first made aware of Island Express Movers because they left a flyer on my door. I noticed…read morethat they were offering moving services at a 10% discount. Since I was about to move I decided to check out their website and everything looked legit. I assumed since the owner lived in the same complex as me, they would be crazy to scam or associate in an illegitimate manner. Big mistake. I spoke to Whitney (Which I have learned is the owners wife) who assured me that a 1 bedroom move should take no longer than the 3 hour minimum. We booked the movers to arrive between 1 and 2. I paid my $100 deposit by credit card. On the day of the move, the owner called me and let me know the movers would actually be early. So I made sure I was prepared. At 1:42, I grew concerned about them showing up at all. The movers showed up a little after 2pm. They took their sweet ole time coming out of the rented U-Haul truck and up the stairs to greet me. I let them know every single thing I was moving was located in the room by the front door. They looked at me confused and asked to check other rooms to make sure nothing was left behind. Almost as if someone could not be organized and prepared. They started moving my boxes 1 by 1, no literally they used their delicate hands, fully accessorized with a diamond pinky ring to lift EVERY SINGLE BOX one by one to ensure that was the box that they wanted to carry. They did not carry more than 1 box at a time, so they single handedly lifted each box to ensure they were not carrying the heaviest ones. They ever so carefully walked down the 12 steps to the truck making sure not to scuff their brand new jordans on the way. About 2.5 hours later, we were finally on the way to the new place. Once we got there, only one guy was working because the other decided to stop and take a shit in my bathroom while I ran to get them the water that they had asked for. It took a total of 6 hours to move to a 1 bedroom apartment. 30 boxes. 1 king bed. Couch and a few odds and ends. Upon payment they demanded it be cashapp or Zelle. I told them I had neither and they started complaining about how I need to pay. I offered my credit card and they flat out said I could not pay with a credit card. The total was DOUBLE my original quote. They made sure to drag out EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE of this move. I finally called my bank and made sure I was able to Zelle without any risks. They assured me I was safe to do so, so I sent the payment. OH! But not before one gentleman decided to offer his services of helping me make my bed that came with a sinister wink. Once they left, I texted the owners looking for a receipt to see what I actually had been charged for. No 10% off discount. No discount on the fact they used their time to shit in my bathroom. Nothing. Just a double-charged bill. I texted the company the next morning about my concerns. They replied with a half-ass response about giving them 48 hours to look into the issue and they take these issues seriously. I neglected to also let them know about the damaged dresser, damaged door and missing box. I figured, one issue at a time. 48 hours and 1 minute later, I heard nothing from them so I called my bank. And would you guess I can't file a dispute since I used Zelle. They made sure I had no way to recoup my money due to their negligence. I started researching their company and I am honestly shocked at the amount of fraud I was able to locate. They are not DOT registered. They have no permission to operate in a trucking capacity in any transportation manner. Most of the "reviews" on their site are fake. A quick reverse search showed that. I have been in contact with every single company they stole photos of. The picture of the large piano, showing how they can safely move furniture, also not theirs. It is a duplicate of a hotel in Japan. Their entire site is copyrighted. Which I am pretty sure makes this whole scenario a lovely case of Copyright infringement. I honestly wish I had done proper research before I hired this company. Typically I use larger, commercial companies and this time I wanted to try and help a smaller company instead. Charite and Whitney Gonzalve are the epitome of what it is like to be despicable human beings. They are a prime example of what is wrong in this world. They are complete scam artists and deserve every millimeter of bad karma coming their way
