Hell yes to this place. Absolutely wonderful beer selection with all types represented in a great atmosphere. They have a taco trailer out back but my experience with them was terrible (small portion, expensive and the guy was a dick) however you can also bring in outside food which is a win. read more

Came here as a recommendation from my ortho and my cocky, Oregon seasoned beer tastebuds were not ready for the punch of their barrel aged porter, the Grand Daddy Porter. The amount of depth in taste that you get from just one sip is mindblowing when compared to the other breweries around Austin. You get some sweetness, you get the alcohol, you get some bitterness, you get the alcohol, you get the barrel tastes, and you get... the alcohol :D But alcohol aside, hats off to this brew master for an amazing product that so many people can finally enjoy what good craft beer should taste like. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in beer tasting and will direct you well if you're unsure of what you like, as well as give excellent vacation ideas for those that are really into craft beers! This brewery was so fancy and so nice. The bartender was friendly and patient with us when deciding on what type of beers we wanted to try. I got a flight of various beers which most of them were suggested by the bartenders. They were GOOD. If I get the chance, I WILL be coming back here again. It is also kid friendly. We LOVE LOVE this place but have been so disappointed to learn that the food trucks aren't rotating anymore. It was so cool to check out the calendar and see what we might want to pop up for. There were some fantastic options coming too!! The current resident food truck just doesn't thrill us and we definitely don't come as often. The beer is great. The atmosphere is great. WORLD'S BEST BURGERS ON MONDAYS!!! The beer here is the best in Cedar Park by far, much better than Red Horn (I mean coffee ... Come on! Way too hipster)! The service is great, the atmosphere is laid-back and the people are easy to talk to about anything. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy great beer and relax or watch some sports. Also, on Monday nights they have some of the most incredible burgers you'll ever have. I've eaten a burger at every place in Cedar Park and the surrounding areas, and the only other place that has comparable burgers is Moonies. Do yourself a favor - go to Whitestone on a Monday night with the family, grab a beer and get a burger. Bring the kids too because they have a really nice outdoor covered patio that's fenced and they have games. read more

This new brewery is tucked away in the Railyard area on Whitestone Blvd. They are open to the public in soft opening with a projected grand opening 1/9/2016. The brewery looks very nice with a cozy couch in front of a fire place, bar seating and lots of tables. The covered patio has ample picnic seating and they will eventually have food trailers. For now food is limited to a couple restaurants in the neighboring areas that they have menus for. I think this is a smart concept as they are new and it allows them to allow food while focussing on their craft in namesake, being a brewery. With that said, I would be a more frequent customer if they poured wine to accommodate the folks that cannot drink beer. However the staff we spoke with said they may have ciders in the future. Jesse ordered the mild KÖNVERTER KÖLSCH which he enjoyed. They list their current beers on a board which also feeds their social media interactions such as Twitter and Untapped. I am intrigued and will definitely get a taste of the PORCH DADDY BALTIC PORTER when it rolls out. On a side note I ordered a glass water which I never received, I would love to see Topo Chico or something similar on the menu too. Great space, dog friendly patio, parking a breeze and food trailers..they do indeed have a good thing going. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled in this case due to a 2 star review left by another reviewer. This is a brewery. Not a restaurant/brewery. Don't come to a brewery and expect food. Certainly don't give a brewery a negative review due to your silly expectations. If you enjoy craft beer, or even crap beer, you should appreciate what Whitestone offers in Cedar Park of all places. Also, I have brought my one year old both times I've come. No one died. Kid friendly enough. Just don't expect Chuck E Cheese and you will be fine As of my second visit, Whitestone has rolled out 4 unique beers. A blonde, a kolsch, an IPA, and a saison. All solid beers. There are 2 more on the way apparently. Come try them and see what you think. Great space, and great staff. Only been here once, but was pleasantly surprised. Lots of room--big tables and a few TVs (but not many, definitely not a sports bar). I only had the Lovely Day IPA, which, despite the dorky name, was very good. Went very well with the Bohemian sandwich from the Bohemian BBQ trailer parked outside that day. My wife had the Kolsch, which she liked a lot. There's a lot of space there, and a big outdoor area that's clearly popular with dog owners. Also a fair number of kids about, which is cool in a place like Cedar Park, where most of us have children and just want to enjoy a beer or two, not get sloshed and act like idiots. Would be happy to go back and try more beers and whatever food truck is there. Also, the staff seemed really great. They were patient with the people who seem incapable of deciding on a beer until they'd reached the front of the line, and would make a point to serve the next person to the side if they could while that was going on, to speed things up. And they did it all without annoying the indecisive folks. Impressive. read more

Glad to see this brewery in Cedar Park. Husband and I went to their yoga and beer event "Bends, Brews, & Brunch," which was so nice on a Saturday morning. I hope to go to more events like this in the future! After the relaxing yoga, I had a flight of beer. I would say all the beer was good, but I would order the Long Gone Blonde or the Konverter Kolsch regularly in the future. Both were light and flavorful. Husband liked the IPA and porter. Atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly. Tour was short but informative. Food was available from a food truck. We like the 3 pours for $10 deal that other breweries around Austin usually have. In comparison this place may be a bit more expensive since they don't do that. Tuesday discounted growlers and crowlers looks like a good deal, though. read more

3 stars for concept with the food trucks and the family/dog friendly nature of this place. My family loved playing Scattegories together by the fire. The food trucks are hit or miss of course and on our night it was a "miss". Cajun food truck was horrible. Pizza truck showed up later and might have been a better choice. Beer was not good. Kolsch was not good, saison was meh. The Blonde was drinkable and IMO the Porter was the best. Being from Northern Cal maybe I'm spoiled for Lagunitas and Lost Coast Brewery. If you're going to open an establishment without offering a menu and the beer is the "Star", it had better be fantastic beer! I love supporting local businesses and I do hope this place makes it. Maybe try offering an orange wheat or tangerine wheat beer? I'm willing to give this place another try. Especially if the Peached Tortilla is the Food truck. I'll stick to the Porter. read more

Right now I'm going to rate this 2 stars. My only complaint about this brewery: - is its a BEER ONLY hangout - no restaurant; food trucks only (probably won't be the healthiest foods) - they say it's kid friendly. Seriously doubt that. Kid friendly is providing and catering to kids like food menus, not trailer truck food that not all kids will eat. (Bring some form of entertainment for your kids like tablets, iPads, etc. - they are only doing a few beers right now (more to come in the following days. I was thinking they would have done like a soft opening that did a $5.00 tasting experience per person. I left paying $6.00 for a small 20oz beer that I could have gone more for my buck somewhere else in town. Anyway, my opinion could change BUT this was my observation from what the bartenders there shared with me. read more

First, I really enjoy their beer. My current favorite is "Long Gone Blonde", but I'm really waiting for their porter next week. Hoping for a stout. The establishment is spacious and comfortable, with a large patio out back (with heaters.) My favorite thing, though, and the reason for the fifth star, is that for food they've decided to go with scheduling a variety of food trucks that pull up to the patio and serve right across the railing.
