She had new heating and…read moreA/C installed in (Sep. 25) but in June we started the A/C and it froze the evaporator coil. Our regular HVAC came out to inspect it and determined that it was low on refrigerant. Also, the main concern was that it was mounted improperly between 2 sheds with inadequate ventilation. Anderson HVAC sent out the tech that installed it and he said that he wouldn't have installed it there if it was his home. The opposite side of the shed has ample space and is open. He charged the low refrigerant and said he could give me a bid to move it to the correct location. He told me that it didn't have a permit from Millcreek City and Millcreek told me that "he absolutely needed a permit" especially because of the electrical shut off that was installed. It never would have passed inspection mounted in it's current location. It was installed illegally and improperly.

They came in and saved us just the nick of time...... before we melted :) (AKA ..2 days days before the temp reached over 100 degrees). Chris is the owner and he is a super nice guy and knows what he is talking about. He told us what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done right away. I just purchased my furnace less than a year ago and it quit working on one of the hottest days in Salt Lake. I called for service on Friday and was told that the soonest they would be able to get someone out would be Monday. Leaving me to either have to spend additional money that should be covered under warranty or wait until Monday with temperatures expected to be over 100 all weekend. Incredibly horrible customer service. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone as they will leave you to fend for yourself after giving them thousands of dollars for a new unit.

He was kind and professional as he checked the issue and also observed and quoted several other needed repairs. The quotes were clear and quick. He did such a good job that I called him when we ran into some repairs above our skill level at our residence. He arrived on time, diagnosed the issues, gave me several quote options for additional items and had the jobs finished within a few hours. I researched online and connected with Ryan from Floodsmen. He responded immediately was knowledgeable and accommodating. Honestly it was a relief to have his expertise after guessing at what the source of the musty smell might be.
