Hi, we are fairly new residents of Syracuse UT and made what proved to be a valuable decision which was to purchase home backup generator and decided to all "Hawk Electrical" to install a 30A generator transfer switch on our home this past September. Well back on December 27th, about 2000 residents of Syracuse lost electrical power for almost six hours and we were thankful the new generator & new 30A transfer switch worked beautifully. Both of them said we would need to add a subpanel to accommodate the electrical needs (trusting a few different pros) Hawk Electrical showed up and explained a subpanel didn't need to be added and it could be done much more simply and cost about $1200 less than my other estimates. He was able to come back later that night and take care of it.
