Mike Nor is located in Tremonton, but they're getting ready to open another office in Bountiful. The guy working that office is Courtney Rundell and he is fantastic. I'm a tough sell when it comes to trade work, my standards are high. I want above and beyond trade work and solid customer service. Mike Nor plumbing and Courtney delivered. Courtney kept me in the loop every step of the way, he worked extremely fast and efficient, and asked me questions to set expectations for the work I was wanting done. Often making suggestions that set up our system for success long term, offering ideas I hadn't thought about. I highly recommend Courtney and Mike Nor. Great work and follow through. Will definitely use again.

They not only took pictures of before and after so we could see the difference but encouraged me to look at the ducts myself before so I could see how bad they were before they cleaned them. They're also a family company which I really appreciate and like to support. No complaints at all- would absolutely recommend them. My only regret is that we didn't get them in sooner!

Nate came up and gave an excellent bid to put in a split system which fit right in with the swam cooler ductwork. They also were half the price of all the other bids. They did the work promptly and professionally, and even came back to do a little bit of finishing work that I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise. With it being 100° outside, our house is nice and cool!

I'm sure they're generally honest and straightforward people, but I didn't know it's abnormal for a…read morecustomer to ask why they are being charged a particular amount. The service technicians had a difficult time explaining the items for the amount I was being charged, so I asked if they would be willing to call their office to help clarify. After talking with their office, the amount decreased 20%. I made a joke they should call the office again if that would be the result. I asked again if they could help me understand the new amount or break the charges out for me. They said it was the total of their hourly service rate. I asked what the amount was and if they would multiply by the number of hours of project took. The total decreased another 10%. I think intentionally charging people the incorrect amount is dishonest. Customers should be able to trust a business is charging them for what they received and not have to turn into an auditor.

Our furnace stopped working a week before Christmas. At the same time I noticed our water heater…read morewas leaking. We got multiple bids from every HVAC/Plumbing contractor we could find. We couldn't get anyone to come out during the holidays unless we wanted to pay exorbitant amounts of "emergency hours" costs. Just as I was about to give up on the water heater, I made a desperate call to Gilbert Plumbing. I still feel bad about the way I must've spoken to Lance when he promptly returned my voicemail that morning. Nevertheless, he was overly patient and accommodating. I wanted to avoid having yet another contractor come out to look at the set up and pitch me a bid that was way outside reasonable to replace a standard 50 gallon water heater. Lance cut right to it. He told me the price over the phone which was right on par with what I was expecting to pay. I asked about scheduling fully expecting to be at least 2-3 weeks out, but he said he would squeeze me in that afternoon. I was completely beside myself thinking it had to be too good to be true. Lance asked me to send him pictures of my current setup so his installer could make sure he had the necessary parts before he arrived. Sure enough, the installer showed up in the early afternoon with everything he needed. It took him a whole 45 minutes and my water heater nightmare was fixed. I gladly sent the agreed upon amount to Lance via Venmo. My showers are hot and I am no longer losing sleep worrying whether or not the bottom was going to fall out of my water heater flooding my basement. If you need a plumber, you should call Gilbert first.
