Brisket Mac n cheese
Mel K.

My grilled chicken pita was perfectly executed. I never imagined doing a post about the most perfect pierogies, but here we are. They were not overly hard like so many serve them & still easy to pick up and dip with some sour cream. Our server was super friendly and mentioned what great selections we had made. It's always busy here and with good reason. The food has never disappointed and we only wish we had room for something yummy from the bakery. My husband enjoyed his brisket over Mac n cheese. He's a little obsessed with orange cheese from years of Kraft products (before me), but he commented that there was tons of meat.

I stopped in to pick up a slice of cheesecake for my girlfriend. To think with the cost, it would be a nice piece but I watched as the old man cutting it dropped a chunk off and just got rid of it. Needless to say, I was not happy with the size. I know I've gotten better portions here before I just hope next time will be better.

I had the chorizo breakfast and I was so pleased with my order. The chorizo breakfast platter is just something you should try if you haven't already. If their breakfast is that good I can't wait to come here again and try something from their lunch and dinner menu. I also had a French Onion Soup with was also so good. I loved it. Not the best I ever had but definitely up there. I will return.

Orea cheesecake... so delicious

This place was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 10 for breakfast. He had eggs Benedict (traditional) but they had several variations to choose from. I had a gouda and bacon omelet... both were delicious. Server was very professional and polite. The place was clean. We could not resist a slice of cake.... the display is visible as you walk in. It was hard to decide but we went with oreo cheesecake.... couldn't even finish it all! The prices were very, very reasonable. We would definitely go back.

The food was fantastic! Service was excellent and the price was amazing! The cheese cake was out of this world! Will definitely come back again if we are in the area!

Bourbon Glazed Salmon

Excellent food! Ate Bourbon glazed Salmon over rice. Perfectly cooked the last two times I ordered this. Literally melts in your mouth. My son had pancakes, excellent! I took a star off for two reasons, and it's happened in the past and happened today: 1. When they brought our food, they didn't have syrup for my sons pancakes, no big deal, but when I asked politely the person seemed annoyed and said, "I'll let your server know". I've worked in restaurants, I would have helped out my fellow woker and grabbed it. By the time our server came back with it, about five minutes went by. 2. Coffee refills, or lack there of. This is a crowd pleaser for people who like coffee and easy to do. Having someone walk around with a coffee pot is not hard . We were not offered until server came back toward end of our meal and asked us if we wanted more. Again, not the first time. It may sound picky, but I wasn't comfortable with the approaches.

Ok. You are in Whitehall, right? Place is called Whitehall Diner. Duh, just go there. Even if parking lot is full, service is quick. They said 15 min wait, less then 5 min had us seated. I suggest you ask for Jackie's section. She is good at customer service!

My dad used to take me here when I was younger, and I was really disappointed when I came back. It honestly sucked.

Our usual go to breakfast chain has been so disappointing recently so we decided to give Trolley…read moreBarn a try and were pleasantly surprised. We weren't quite sure about the ordering at the register process. The menu offerings are on a chalkboard behind the register and the waitress was patient with us as we looked over everything. I ordered pancakes with bacon and coffee. The pancakes were just what you'd want when you think of pancakes. Good size, fluffy, and tasty. The three strips of bacon were cooked right, slightly crispy with a little chewy bite. The coffee was hot and kept hot with a frequent topper. Trolley Barn is exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood place, everyone seemed to be regulars, and the decorating is very much a taste of a bygone era in a good way. Not really a diner, but definitely a casual place to get some good food. Staff was friendly, and my husband and I have definitely added Trolley Barn to our list of good places to get breakfast.

Loved it here. I…read moreordered the steak dinner and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it. The steak portion was extremely generous with the perfect juiciness, perfect texture, and this amazing flavor. It went really well with the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I do, however, wish that the vegetable and mashed potato portions were a little bigger to match how generous the steak portion was. I loved my dish the most. I also really loved everything about the calamari. They could not have done that better and I can be very picky about fried foods. Tomato sauce was also super flavorful and they let us have another cup of that super delicious tomato sauce on the house. My brother got the shrimp Alfredo which is his go to. That also was really good and the shrimp was grilled to perfection. My grandma got a crab cake, which was tasty too, but I definitely prefer what me and my brother ordered. So yeah I thought the food was I would dare to say impressive and the service felt very friendly and professional

A quaint restaurant in the heart of the Pittsburgh Hills is the Wild Rosemary Bistro. Apparently,…read moreat one point, this restaurant was hopping and required several months in advance to make a reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed and was bought by new owners, which is now known as Wild Rosemary Bistro. The restaurant probably can only hold about 50 people. They have a Supper Club prix-fixe menu that is served family style, which is a unique experience for guests. I brought my Supper Club to try out this place, and the experience was filled with both ups and downs. First, I had a rather large group coming, and they split up our group into 2 tables that weren't close to each other. I knew this ahead of time, so that was no problem. Our waitress was nice but the service was pretty slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. It was also very hot in the restaurant, and our group had to ask for ice for our water and ourselves because we were so hot. The meal started out with some sauce & ricotta focaccia. It was doughy and soft but very heavy and filling. It was a nice, added touch since it wasn't on the menu! Carrot & Fennel Soup: This soup was different and outstanding! The flavor profile was so good, and I enjoyed every minute of it! We also got some more bread in between courses. Lemon Cream Alfredo: This dish was very lemony and not overly hot like I would have liked. It definitely tasted like something I could make at home. Salmon: We got A LOT of salmon, but it was very dry and overly tasted like dill. Many people in my group loved this, but I was not one of them. Nutella Tiramisu: I don't like coffee flavor or Nutella, and I loved this dessert. It was so flavorful, and we got a very large portion! Overall, we paid $80/per person for this meal. We got A LOT of food and even had enough to take home. However, for as much quantity as we got, there was lack in the quality of the food. There were so many bread and starch courses, that we were ridiculously fool throughout the whole meal. We would have preferred less bread and more substance. The idea and concept for this restaurant is great. I really hope they are able to provide a better quality of food. If they do, I think this restaurant could really soar!

It's…read moreserved family style with strangers so if you're not into that don't go but it's not like you're eating off the same fork. It's small and intimate in there and decorated beautifully. The food was amazing the risotto was the favorite of the night. I like the pesto but the pasta was a bit too al dente for me. The waitress was so nice and the courses came out quick since it's a set menu she even packed up our leftovers. Definitely come hungry because it's six courses plus homemade bread . I had enough for a decent lunch the next day. The biggest con for me is its far from my area but I'll take that drive once a month for the changing menu
