They did a scan of the hard drives and reformatted parts of the storage so that we had more free space (so our computer wouldn't crash every time we needed to do something) and removed some programs we didn't need (after consulting with us first). I was told that they would call me with the dianosis and estimate after they had looked at it, would which take at least three days. When I hadn't heard anything in a week, I called, mainly to make sure they had my correct phone number. Again, I was told that someone would look at it and get back to me shortly. Okay, fair enough. A week later, after hearing nothing, I called back. I was told that the tech "has it on his desk" and would get back to me. THREE WEEKS LATER and nothing. I called and spoke to the tech. He said he would look at it and call me "later today." That was on a Thursday. By the following Saturday, I hadn't heard back, so I went in and asked them to just give me the PS3 back. The story is also dirty and the work area is a pile of junk, electronics, and random parts. Other people have mentioned things being lost and broken and I can see why. Your millage way vary but if I were you, I'd take my electronics literally anywhere else.

The pure convenience of being able to call Chris and have him come right to your house (masked up and with plastic covers on his shoes to protect your floors) to tend to your ailing computer aside, he's incredibly nice, friendly and professional, and great at warning you about best and worst case scenarios for the issues you're having with your computer and talking you through your options for dealing with them ahead of time so you don't get any nasty surprises. Best of all, having him come right to my house to fix my laptop has consistently been both faster AND cheaper than leaving the computer at a repair shop where it will languish for days on end before anyone gets around to looking at it.
