Taco
Blanca S.

Stopped by White Rhino and grabbed a 12oz iced sweet matcha latte with oat milk and my boyfriend tried a 16oz iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Both were so smooth and tasty! We also got two tacos with potato, chorizo, and cheese on flour tortillas. The staff were super friendly, and the place was so clean I started wondering if they hired actual white rhinos to do the cleaning. Definitely coming back--for the coffee, the tacos, and maybe to ask if the rhinos really do clean.

Pretty much an empty Cafe. Still waited 20 minutes.

Service here is the Slowest ever! Expect to wait for more than 15 minutes or more. I've given this location several opportunities due to the coffee being pretty good. Unfortunately, when it comes to waiting times, this location takes the Gold medal! I waited 20 minutes for a chumpkin (pumpkin chai latte). The two youngsters look like they were having fun which is a good thing, because Who wants a bitter barista. Sadly, it seems to slow them down. And I totally understand that online orders take precedence, but waiting 20 minutes in a empty cafe is a little much.

The service was quick and smooth. The barista was kind and explained the options clearly and kindly! I loved the shop itself, the color scheme was cute and all the tables and couches were clean and styled well. Friendly environment, as well.

What a great find! I love the ambiance and the vibe. It is stylish, tidy, and spotless. Outstanding menu of food and beverages. I had a flavored latte that was exceptional. I love their selections of freshly roasted and ground coffees too. Friendly service.

Starting this review off with all you information you truly need to know - THIS IS THE BEST COFFEE IN THE DFW METROPLEX. PERIOD. Truly, White Rhino Does. Not. Miss! You challenge any anyone reading this review to find me a better coffee shop anywhere in this region. I'll save you the time though, you won't. From friendly service making you feel like family each and every time you walk through the door to innovative sleeve prebuilt into each cup of that sweet sweet nectar... you'll become an addict right away. The ambiance is comfortable and easy to get done work done but only if your shoe to find a spot because all their locations are quite popular. That being said, they're never too loud, which is appreciated. The Sebastian is my go to favorite and their vanilla latte is killer too. Switch it up with some oat milk and thank me later. White Rhino, please take ALL of my money!

I love White Rhino! I've visited a different location once this week already while in town and decided to stop in this location to work today! This location is super cute!! It is so bright and sunny with that large windows and is a great environment to work in! The staff was so friendly and helpful when ordering. I started off with a Toasted Coconut Latter with coconut milk and then later got a drip coffee and a poptart! So tasty!

Cold War and Breakfast Sandwich
Morelia O.

I ordered the Cold War with sweet foam as well as the breakfast sandwich, both a 10/10! The secret sauce in the sandwich adds a wonderful flavor that compliments the bacon. The only con with ordering an iced drink is the sugar/honey sitting at the bottom since it doesn't dissolve lol. The music in the cafe is always calm and is a perfect atmosphere to get work done. Slightly off the main Bishop Arts streets makes it a great spot that's not surrounded by the crowds.

I would go back here solely because of the manager, Allie! She was so kind, helpful, and a positive presence. This past Saturday was our first time visiting and we didn't know quite what to order. She provided great suggestions. The space is quite and clean. You get a lot of beautiful, natural light. The coffee was really good as well. Another vegan friendly spot to come back to.

Lovely, clean and bright Bishop Arts coffee shop. I tried the Sebastian latte, a sweet caramel flavored drink. It was quiet when I went - music quietly noodles over the loudspeakers. Lots of comfortable chairs, a few sofas and some larger work tables make this a perfect place to chill out and work or study. There's a nice little selection of pastries and other snacks if you get hungry.

This was not just a coffee shop for me. Great location, EXCELLENT SERVICE and good coffee. This place has a good atmosphere with modern furniture and good ambiance. This will be my go to for when I need to meet people in this area.

White rhino is an elevated coffee shop nestled at the oak cliff/bishop arts area retail shops. Take advantage of the underground parking it's complimentary! The owner was the one who took care of my friends and eye providing recommendations and gave us a run down about the space. This place is great to come and relax but also study or have group study sessions! There are several seating areas with outlets to charge your devices. They also serve beer and wine! I had the maple glazed biscuit which has subtle flavors of pickle and honey mustard. The mustard looks fresh as you can see the seeds in the mustard but it wasn't over powering which was great. I also had an earl grey creme which had a sweet at the finish but a great caffeinated alternative to coffee. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards and if you are a healthcare worker you can get a discount while on your break!

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.

Located in the Bishop Arts District, this donut shop provides a modern look with some of the best delicious one-of-a-kind donuts that you will ever try. Let's break down the food that I had there shall we? Horchata Donut - probably one of the best I've ever had, very flavorful and delicious! Traditional Glazed - can't go wrong with a classic, moist and wonderful to eat! Terry Blacks BBQ Brisket and Cheddar Kolache - wowee what a partnership and it was so delicious! Vanilla Bean Latte - great flavor, lover of lattes, gotta grab a coffee, what a great choice to complement! The bathroom is clean and the self serving water is aplenty. Now for the food - Brisket kolache is great, I will always get this again. Horchata donut has a layer of cream inside which I like. It's more yeast like, which I prefer in a donut. New banana coffee donut was interesting, I really liked the crumby part outside but wish the coffee flavor stood out more. Vanilla drink with whole milk - the vanilla shots were strong and should've done oat milk instead. That would make it taste much better Overall, great experience and love the new flavors they experiment with! My thoughts - in the more yeasty-donuts, add a layer of filling inside!

The signage only indicated it was Cafe Brazil parking, and there was nothing that clearly made me think I needed to register my vehicle just to sit in the car while waiting for a paying customer. This feels extremely misleading and unfriendly to actual customers. To make matters worse, the dispute process is incredibly frustrating. Their website requires agreeing to Terms of Service just to dispute the charge, and when my wife called PRRS, the automated system said she was 115th in line.
