The person waxing me, Desiree, was meticulous and did not leave one piece of hair behind. She used the hard wax and it was perfect my skin. It was so painless that at first it was hard to believe we were done (I also took pain medication 30 minutes before which I totally recommend). When you are done they add a cooling serum and glycolic acid serum. Also, since she used the hard wax, there was not that sticky after wax feeling! They've only been around for about a month but I am so happy I decided to try them out. They absolutely have a repeat customer in me.

I arrived on time for my appointment, and there was a client midway through a service. I had to wait 15 minutes, which isn't a huge deal, but there wasn't any acknowledgement of my appointment time or even a "welcome in". When I was told to sit down, Rekha proceeded to take a lot of photos of my face, and though there is a sign on the wall stating that these pictures are for educational purposes, I felt much more like a marketing tool than a valued client. I immediately noticed her using the same, unwashed brush on my face that she had used on her previous client. She talked herself up a lot and made some insensitive comments about how next time I could be "brave" and have my upper lip done. She also interrupted my service about halfway through to take care of a quick walk-in, which, again, wouldn't be a huge deal if she had been more polite about it. The end of the service felt rushed to me, which was probably because there was a long line of people waiting. Rekha had apparently booked two clients for the same appointment slot and also told a few others who had called that she had time for walk-ins. I know that mistakes happen, but she really didn't seem to care much, and it was very chaotic. I had also scheduled an eyelash tinting with her, which she forgot about and said she didn't have time for. At that point, though, I was happy to get out of there. TL;DR: Ok, not great threading and eyebrow tint, terrible customer service and subpar cleanliness.

They have a monthly subscription for facial threading, however you cannot cancel before six months. Regular eyebrow threading is $13. I arrived around 6:15p on a weekday, there was one employee inside and one client in front of me. The wait wasn't bad, they have calming music playing. My technician was efficient, she asked me what I wanted first and was very thorough taming my bushy eyebrows. She applied witch hazel at the end and the entire process took about 10-15 minutes. Do note that there is not tip line on the receipt, so be sure to bring cash! I walked here, so I can't vouch for parking, but I did notice a parking garage just up the street. I'll definitely make this my regular spot while I'm in Providence.
