For example, I had historically been low in vitamin D. My 'traditional' MD/ PCP kept telling me to 'take more vitamin D' like I was forgetting to do so. I was not forgetting, and was taking so much vitamin D on a daily basis, one of my family members mentioned you can actually overdose on vitamin D. This comment gave me pause to think about exactly how well, or unwell, my healthcare really was and began my search for a new health care provider. On my very first consultation with Dr. Frodermann, she knew exactly why I was always low on vitamin D, added a natural supplement to assist with absorption to my daily vitamin routine, and I have never been low on vitamin D since! All those years of 'take more!' was never going to fix the issue. I should have come to Dr. Frodermann sooner. This is just one example of how Dr. Frodermann has changed my health, and therefore my life. It is a health journey and she is an advocate helping to figure out what is needed to stay in good health as we age. I'm definitely not one to 'pop a pill' for what ails me. I'd much rather adjust my diet, add an exercise, take Epsom salt baths, make bone broth or use a caster oil pack for example if that is what it takes to feel good. I had searched the internet for years looking for ways to feel better. It's so much easier to meet with Dr. Frodermann, having the benefit of her wisdom and experience to point you in the right direction. The office offers high quality supplements and the prices are very competitive. At present all consultations are via tele-med (Skype for example) in order to keep everyone safe and supplement pick up is no-contact. Office hours are limited, and by appointment only. Give them a call, or send them an email. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the state of RI, naturopaths are not covered by insurance although they are licensed by the state and the RI association of Naturopathic physicians is trying to arrange insurance coverage (You can check out https://www.rianp.org/ to find out how that process is going). In the mean time, if you wish to see a naturopath in RI, it is out of pocket. If you are not getting results from your PCP, are tired of always being tired, or just not feeling like anything you have tried is working, maybe it's time you add a naturopath to your health care family. I did and I will never look back!

Dr. Behtash was recommended to me by my doctor at Memorial Hospital, Dr. Susanna Magee - who was my doctor for both of my pregnancies. I enjoyed Dr Magee's style, ease of emailing communication, and asked for her to recommend a local provider to be my regular physician. Dr. Behtash runs a micro office, which allows her to spend a ton more time with her patience -- you set up your appointments, and even email her through an app or online. This helps because she is the one who writes back to you - not a nurse! My first visit with her was about an hour. She took the time to truly understand me and my history, and has been incredibly kind at subsequent visits. She is young, knowledgable, warm, and welcoming - and I 100% recommend her to others! My husband just made the switch, and he said the quality of care was unlike anything he had ever experienced. And the best part - barely any waiting for my appointment!

I scheduled a new patient appointment approximately two months in advance. Prior to being seen, I was encouraged to enroll in the office's dental membership program months before my actual visit, which was unusual and, in hindsight, appears financially motivated rather than patient-focused. The appointment lasted close to two hours, yet I only spent approximately 20 minutes with the dentist. During that time, the dentist made unsolicited and unsubstantiated claims about my overall health, stating she could identify "gut issues" based on my appearance. She then strongly pressured me to see a specific outside provider charging approximately $1,600 per visit, and implied that any dental treatment would fail if I did not follow her recommendation. This was inappropriate, outside the standard scope of dental care, and presented in an alarmist and coercive manner. The interaction was distressing enough that I left the office in tears. After my appointment, I attempted multiple times to obtain information about my X-rays, recommended treatment, and an estimate of costs. I called the office approximately 10 times, and each time I was told that staff were unsure and would follow up, but I never received a clear response. I was eventually told that this information could not be provided over the phone, which had not been communicated to me previously. The lack of clear communication and inability to provide basic information about my treatment plan added to the overall confusion and frustration. Following this experience, I attempted to cancel the membership. My written cancellation request was ignored, and my card continued to be charged. I was only able to stop the charges by contacting the third-party provider (Clerri) directly. Only then did the office acknowledge the cancellation. I was not provided with any information indicating that cancellation had to be completed through a third-party provider, and this requirement was not clearly communicated to me. Even after cancellation, the office continued to send repeated messages attempting to schedule appointments, despite no indication that I wished to return. Subsequently, I was told I was responsible for paying the full cost of services (cleaning and X-rays) that had already been covered under the membership plan. When I requested written documentation or a policy supporting this retroactive billing, none was provided despite multiple requests. Attempting to charge patients for previously covered services without a clearly disclosed policy raises serious concerns regarding billing transparency and fairness. I did not receive or sign any documentation clearly stating that this was a yearly membership or that I would be financially responsible for the full cost of services if I chose to cancel early. The office also indicated that they would send the disputed balance to collections, despite not providing documentation supporting the charge. Additionally, the office failed to provide my dental records, including X-rays, after I requested them. The office indicated that records would be released once the balance was resolved, suggesting that access to records may be contingent on payment. Overall, this experience raises significant concerns regarding ethical standards, billing practices, and respect for patient rights. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before seeking care at this office.

I am so happy I did for the first time. I was in perfect harmony and cannot wait till the next time I have the opportunity to come back. It was the perfect way to spend our day off on Juneteenth. I used vagaro, the online appointment scheduling platform for Harmony on Hope Massage, to book The Perfect Pair - Couples Massage for 60 Minutes for $240 with Matt Kenny and Nikki Seidman. The system was easy to use and there were plenty of availabilities so you can choose what date, time, and therapists works best for you. Just make sure to allocate enough time to answer questions related to your medical history and any specific areas you want the therapists to work on. Since making the appointment date to our appointment date, we received multiple appointment reminders via text and email. Our appointment was at 10:30 AM on Wed, June 19, 2024. We parked on the side street, but it looks like there is a small parking lot next to the building. We arrived to Harmony on Hope Massage around 10:20 AM and was greeted by Shannon, founder of Harmony on Hope Massage. She made sure all our forms were completed, informed the therapists we arrived for our appointment, and told us where the restroom was. In the waiting room, there was filtered water, mini zen garden, and the wall behind Shannon was decorated with handmade wood frames with crystals, feathers, and branches. Matt and Nikki came to greet us in the waiting room and welcomed us to a room with two massage tables side by side and two chairs with a table in the middle. We discussed what we wanted the therapists to work on, if we wanted the heat on the table, what to take off or leave on, what position to lie in on the table, complimentary hot stones if wanted, aromatherapy, pressure strength, and so much more. After our meeting, they left and we undressed and got on the massage table. We put our clothes on the hangers, rings in the ring dish, and a basket underneath the table. Soft music played in the room. After the massage was finished, the therapists left and we got dressed. The therapists met us and asked how we felt. My massage therapist felt I was tense in between my shoulder blades and released the tension. My back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders felt so relaxed, physically and mentally. This was probably the best full-body massage I've ever gotten. My favorite part was when my shoulders, scalp, and hips were being massaged. I also enjoyed the hot towels. Only the area being worked on was exposed from the sheets. From the check-in to check-out, the whole experience was marvelous. All the staff are very professional. Shannon charged us for the visit and we were able to Venmo our tips for the message therapists. Our therapists Venmo QR code was in a ring holder. I can't stop talking about this massage experience and looking forward to the next one.
