Now that it is softball season and I pitch applying pressure to the exact spot with every pitch this spot hurts. So I asked about the foot, what she can do, what I can do etc. Gina did a great job 1st off listening to my needs but giving me the full relaxation and overall muscle relief wanted but not at the expense of the added foot need. I did not look at the clock but I think Gina went beyond the hour to make sure I got the attention I needed. Gina took the time make recommendations for my foot care. The location is convenient, the atmosphere was neat, clean and soothing. Very professional, do not hesitate to schedule at Deeply Kneaded- I have to recommend Gina, she was awesome and I will be back.

What a perfect hidden gem! I was looking for a good sports/deep tissue massage this past weekend,…read moreas I'm in the midst of training for the Boston Marathon and have hit some bumps in training with some IT Band issues. When I found this place online, the prices seemed reasonable, and the staff seemed knowledgeable and experienced... plus they had appointments on Sundays... in the afternoon even! Upon arriving, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but Angela greeted me, and we discussed what was troubling me at the moment, and how she planned to tackle the hour I had signed up for. The place was small and cozy, welcoming scents of relaxation, and a perfect background soundtrack to put me at ease. Once I was settled in for the massage Angela got to work. I don't think my IT Band/legs have ever received such attention; everything was that, hurt but feels good feeling... if you've ever had sore muscles, or tight muscles, you know what I mean... Nothing was to a point of actually hurting, but I could tell my body needed this massage more than I thought. The hour seemed to fly by, but she gave equal attention to my trouble spots, and gave me an in depth discussion post massage about her observations and how I should continue going forward to help these issues. I definitely plan to follow her advice, and to see her again before the marathon and most definitely afterwards! This place is worth what you pay and very personalized attention! I highly highly recommend!!!

If I wasn't in so much pain I would have never gone back. Once in the room, you are covered only with a towel, which was damp and no heat on the table. I told the person where the issues where and she just did her thing. I left with the same pain. I have been seeing message therapists for years. One for 25 years now my new one for 3 years. They both have a table with sheets, blanket and the table is heated. If this was not enough, when I gave her a 20% tip, she asked for more. Obviously they don't want repeat business and why I was able to get in the same day I called. Don't waste your time or money.

Her skill level is high at baseline, plus she teaches massage therapy at a local training institute so she is always up-to-date on new and innovative techniques. I prefer Swedish massage but occasionally needed lymph drainage or more medical massage due to workout injuries and she always delivered--light pressure, deep pressure, she does it all! She seems to be one of those people who is a lifelong learner, so when I would ask about a technique or something to assist, she was always consulting books and colleagues in between our sessions and improving her craft. Plus, her professionalism is superb--she always confirmed my massages, ensured we had a good schedule, and communicated clear expectations about what to expect and cost. The price is perfect--it's just enough to where I believe she is being fairly compensated for her work, low enough to where I can afford it 2x/month, and she did not nickel and dime me ($10 for hot stones, $5 for essential oils), like some other places. Her goal seems to be to treat the person's needs and works in a wide range of skills and tools. The ambiance is nice, too. It's on the second floor of an office building, so it has that office feel outside. But in her room, it's organized, and has elements to adjust to your comfort--various lighting, temperatures, and blankets.
