I love buying from local stores and shops in Fullerton there is so much history and so many places to check out. Black Hole should be considered a local institution for heavy punk, new wave, Brit pop and alternative music lovers. When I was looking for the obscure bands that the radio and Hollywood would not play or give love to I could always count on Black Hole records to fill that void of artistic need for the different and not the mundane. Bill is very knowledgeable when it comes to music and you can easily spend hours talking to him about music. He also has a band called naughty women check them out. The records are overpriced, often damaged or low-quality, and he couldn't care less about customers. It's one thing to be unpleasant, everyone has off days (though by the looks of previous reviews on here; that's everyday at Radiation), but it's another to knowingly rip people off and sell junk at inflated prices. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else; there are countless record stores in Anaheim with actual inventory, quality control, and staff who don't treat customers like garbage. This place is a joke, and giving them a single dollar is a mistake you won't forget.

I checked it out a few times and I was sad to see it had closed. Here I found an amazing record: Linda Rondstadt - Canciones de mi Padre. It was at incredible quality and at a great price. But a while back they had a HUGE selection of IDW Transformers back issues. I went crazy and got a bunch of them whenever I stopped by to pick up the current Skybound run. All the staff is super nice and genuinely super kind! I've had no bad experiences here and they're all super knowledgeable about the things I'm interested in buying. This location is in the Target shopping plaza, and getting in and out can be a bit of a headache. The traffic flow feels confusing, and drivers don't always seem on yielding, which makes the experience a little more stressful before you park! :((( Inside, the setup is pretty standard--nothing particularly unique compared to other Barnes & Noble stores. Prices also seem to be creeping up, and the "Last Chance" section isn't what it used to be, with fewer paperback deals and more generic selections. You need MORE sales and promotions!! I did leave with a book, but honestly, it also made me want to swing by the library next time. :(((

Programme sells skateboards, clothing and vinyl so while I'm here may as well peruse right? So I packed up my records and the kiddo and off we went to Fullerton. Programme is located at the tail end of a strip mall. You're best parking in the main lot and walking there because there isn't much parking in front of the store. Programme isn't the biggest place but it's mighty and wall to wall of all the stuff I like. Their vinyl selection was excellent (and in alphabetical order) and they had lots of great band shirts. Let's just say I went home with more than signed Terror records and the kiddo was EXTREMELY happy with the shirts she chose and I paid for lol. YES, I will be returning to Programme. They host a lot of live shows in their store and occasionally book heavy hitters to play in an environment where you'll never be closer to the action. Just gotta be quick because limited capacity means fast sellouts. Highly recommended!

Entered with an old credit voucher worth $50 from previous book sales. I figured that I would get a…read morefew books from a local bookstore rather than online because I already had the credit here. Firstly, I searched their online inventory website for the desired books. Website reported books in stock but were not on selves. The staff couldn't locate them either and said they would update the inventory. So the inventory site is unreliable. Secondly, upon ringing me up for $20, I produced the voucher thinking it would cover the entire cost. Unfortunately, it is only good for half the price of your purchase. When I expressed my confusion about this policy. The tall crotchety old man raised his voice and loudly repeated: "Good for HALF the purchase!" Sir there is no only else inside the store. It's not loud in there. I was your only customer all afternoon. There was no need to raise your voice at me. How embarrassing to get to the ripe old age of grey and still be throwing tantrums at paying customers no less! I should have left the store without purchasing anything but I was just so stunned! I understand that I failed to thoroughly read the small text at the bottom of the voucher that explains their policy. The old man could have simply referred to the text on the voucher instead of displaying such disrespectful behavior. Take your business elsewhere because your patronage is obviously not valued here.

When I arrived home I plugged in the usb to find that there is only 56 songs which is quite a bit of a disappointment when I was told that there is supposed to be 90+ songs. Even at that I figured it sucks but whatever, then I started playing the music and it was nowhere near what they played for me when I was purchasing the usb. So I reached out to them via messenger and they responded back with they stand behind there product and that they want me the customer to be happy, I figured great they will rectify the issues but after a couple of messages back and forth and them asking what city i love in and that they are in brea I asked where and when we could meet to exchange the faulty usb they seized all communication and here I am having to write this review and them loosing a customer over 30 dollars where me and my family would always buy cds from them whenever we came across there booth. You would think with all this technology and people just downloading music online that they would appreciate people doing the right thing and buying their cds or usb instead of doing it the free way but I guess not. It unfortunate that I have to go to this extreme over 30 dollars but it's not about the money it's the principle and what makes a good company is one that will stand behind their product but sadly they lack in this area. Will update if they or on how they resolve this.
