This review is long over due. If you are looking for phenomenal service at a reasonable price then look no further. I needed to rekey a home. What I didn't realize was the ridiculous # of doors with various locking mechanisms. Sam kindly did a walk through, assessed each door, and provided a quote for each door. What I initially thought would be a 30 minute job when I first called ended up taking +3 hours, over two consecutive evenings. Sam was a lifesaver. He came out to fix our front door and gate, both of which weren't working well. He guided us on getting the part we needed from the manufacturer for the front door (and how to get it for free), and then promptly came back when it arrived. Maybe most admirable though, when he came back to finish the gate, we found the part didn't work as advertised. He still tried for an hour in the hot sun to get it work regardless, and when it still couldn't, he didn't charge for the visit. He ended up coming a handful of times (we just moved into this new property and the locks were a mess!). And each time he was professional, kind, and great at his job (and of course masked!). We recently undertook a 1100 sq foot expansion of our home. Among the hundreds of decisions to make was one to choose door knobs and locks. Sam Moses of White Eagle Locksmith was recommended to us by our contractor, so we set an appointment to meet and discuss the options. Sam was punctual and prepared, arriving with several sample books of door knobs, handles, faceplates and locks. He lead us through the various features, costs, and the pros and cons of our choices, until we narrowed them down. Sam installed all the door handles, both 'pass through' and locks, and they are beautiful! He told us how long the job would take, and completed it early. When a few days later, we discovered one of the door handles was loose, Sam immediately returned to tighten it, and explained that newly painted doors can expand and contract as they settle in, which was likely what happened. Sam also told us about a high security lock, made in Israel, and recommended them for our exterior doors. These locks are virtually impenetrable and require a futuristic-looking key that cannot be readily duplicated. Unlike some contractors who may or may not show up, Sam runs a tight ship. Sam is also easy going, trustworthy and good to his word. You can rely on him, and the high quality and craftsmanship he brings to his work. Highly recommended. read more
