I was craving some White Castles so headed to the closest location for a half dozen or so. Yes, the area is a bit depressed, but I did not feel unsafe at around 5:00PM on a Sunday. However, I wouldn't want to spend more time there than I had to either. The manager was very nice and the staff were clean cut and respectful. Craving satisfied. read more

Heyyyy. What can I say. First stop when we came from the airport. . This location is fairly new. The food was hot and fresh. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our order. When we are in town this is our location to hit. read more

Has nothing to do with the food but there are people hanging out begging for money as you pull through the drive through. I am 100% compassionate for people in need UNTIL a similar situation when I ran in to a 7/11 and there was a guy hanging out asking everyone for money. I got back in the car after going into the store and stupid me, I left my door unlocked and sure enough I come back to my backpack stolen right out of my car and the that guy gone! He got my back pack, and a 600 car key. That's accurate because I called the dealer to get it replaced. He also got my boat keys (boat in a different state) and a bunch of paperwork that would only be useful to me and will be several hours to redo! I am now on guard for these situations. The lint being is I am in line waiting to pay for a quick bite and while waiting looking at my phone only to be shocked with someone knocking on my window to ask for money. This is nonsense. I said something to the worker when my turn to pay. I stated that this could end up being dangerous and you need to do have your management do something about it. Her repose - the police don't care so what do you expect us to do. So my answer. Get a security guard and eat the charge to keep your customers safe as they are the ones paying for your salary. Again I am very compassionate for someone down and out on their luck but this is not the answer. So location management - you have an unsafe condition and you need to address it. read more

My best friend introduced me to the crave in 1975 at the now-closed West Orange 'Castle. He and I have been showing up as (at least) an annual pilgrimage ever since. This location's staff is polite and attentive. Most recently, we walked in for a New Year's Day treat; the cashier said, "I bet you're her for a Crave Case", and right he was. We always get a split case, with a mix of regular sliders and cheese sliders. They've now added veggie sliders. We all got one to try and found them OK, but a bit dry. The sliders are all great. It's our tradition to do a "stuff", eating one in a single mouthful. In college days, it was a "double-stuff." This place is always clean, over the span of many years. We're always visiting this working-class neighborhood in the middle of the day and feel plenty safe; we can't speak to late-night visits. There's lots of parking. It's White Castle. Hey, all Jerseyites know the murder burger. They are good, incredibly unhealthy. Don't eat them after midnight, especially if you're over 40..and you will be okay (lol). They are not those little .40 cent burgers like they used to be in High School, they are a bit pricey now. But they have a taste you cannot get away from. This place is horrible!!!!!!! Try getting any breakfast sandwich after 3am and you're told the grills are off. I have tried the app at least four times and it never works right. The first time they said they wanted to see if I would show up, the second time I was told what you think we have this ready and laughed, the third time was told their was no receipt paper so they couldn't fill the order, I went tonight at 3:34 am and was told give me a minute and after waiting five minutes when I did place the order she told me to grills are off. read more
