Came here looking for junk food after attending a Colts game. This location is about a block away from Lucas Oil Stadium. Because it was after a game, the place was lively and really busy. But the folks working here were still very efficient and friendly and calm. I ordered a number two combo with the cheeseburgers. I wanted to come here cause we don't have these in California and the last time I actually had White Castle was in Indiana 6 years ago. First time coming here after passing this place up plenty of times in Indianapolis. It's a solid location though I wasn't a fan that they were out of certain food items so early in the morning. I've been reading about White Castle since I can remember and have seen references to the place for decades, but we've never had a chance to check one out....until a few weeks ago! This is quite the spot! It's located just a few blocks from Lucas Oil and it was a perfect spot to grab a number of bite-size burger morsels before the game as well as after! It's the perfect Venn diagram Between food that you can drown your sorrows in and food that fills you up crossover.We found the small cheeseburgers to be very tasty and the perfect thing for four dudes who had just gotten out of a very frustrating basketball game! We got 10 cheeseburgers for some thing like $5.99. A kin to the well you should always buy the flag ship cell phone that a Company offers, we found that you should definitely stick to the simple burgers here. We trialed the Chicken 'n Waffle burgers as well as the chicken bacon waffle burger. These definitely left us wanting, though they looked nice! The folks working here were very friendly, and they were able to serve up a tremendous number of burgers in a very short period of time. I call that a success! First time I have been able to try White Castle and it lived up to the name. I ordered the original sliders with cheese combo. It came with a soda and crinkle cut fries with the option to add seasoned salt. They serve Coke products. Everything came out fast and service was very friendly. Absolutely reasonably priced. What I thought was neat is that they have a map of the USA on the wall that they give you a sticker to put on the location you are from if not a local! read more

When I grew up in the Detroit area, I dined at White Castle regularly. I like the sliders, and they're far better being made fresh at a restaurant than the consuming the frozen ones from grocery stores. I also liked having their seafood items. I stopped at this location in Indianapolis (10/9/22) heading back to Colorado. I ordered the 1921 slider (containing lettuce & tomato), a traditional cheese slider, and the fish nibblers. I found the food to be quite good. I also had White Castle two other times on my Midwest trip in Minnesota and East Chicago (Indiana), where the food was also good. The service was also adequate, and I didn't have to wait that long to get my food. However, this place had a sketchy appeal to it. I didn't find downtown Indianapolis to feel safe overall. The area around the White Castle was dirty and run down. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night. read more

This White Castle location is convenient for so many reasons for so many folks. Whether your grabbing a few burgers after a late night of drinking, a quick and inexpensive meal, or just need a snack it meets the needs of the many. The drive up is usually fast unless you sit behind an intoxicated group or those encountering decision issues. If ordering a crave case, I try to go inside the store if the option is available. Its easy to get in and out of this location and located just a few blocks from the interstate ramp. The service at the drive thru has always been decent. If your not a burger fan opt for the fish sandwiches, shrimp bites, or chicken tenders. The chocolate shakes are a favorite for my family especially when their not feeling well. My out of state family expects I drive directly to the closest WC the very second the luggage is in the car. They then proceed to order a bag and devour before we reach home. Anyone who now lives without White Castle always request we stop often during their visit. I do miss White Castle shipping these tiny little burgers to out of state friends and family. I don't image they'll ever return shipping after 9-11 but it would be greatly appreciated by many I know. read more

I have a fish sandwich, a breakfast sandwich, a slider, cheese fries, and a lack of decision making skills. This White Castle is quick and conveniently located blocks away from the south meridian strip. I grew up in an era where you yelled what you wanted through a speaker, took a ticket number, and waited eons until your order magically appeared behind a thick glass window. Asking for "no onion" really meant asking for two-thirds less onion because, Rhondisha ain't got time to clear off that entire grill. You're getting onions on your burger, your bun, in the sides of your burger box/bag, and possibly in your soft drink! Back then I would not have taken 10 minutes to decide on 10 things, and actually had half my order in any time less than 10 (million) minutes. This place does it right. They are nice, fast, and friendly! I would recommend going on a not so busy night mainly because the bar riff raff (as expected) can be rowdy or entertaining? I'm not a fan of how the prices seem to go up, and the portions look smaller. All things considering the sliders are hors d'oeuvres without the cellophane toothpicks or fancy silver platters fooling us! At almost $1 each they are competing with the times, and I get it. Alright, I admit it. My fascination with White Castle was because of the Harold and Kumar film. When heading back from Indianapolis, I caught a glimpse of a White Castle sign off of the highway, and had to stop. I opted to do drive-through, so I can't speak to the cleanliness of the restaurant. It started out rather annoying, as I got stuck behind a guy in a van, who ended up ordering the Fred Flintstone special, a huge box of sliders that looked like it was going to tip the van over. It took a long while for him to be served, but they eventually got to me. I didn't order much, just 4 of the standard sliders and onion rings. The onion rings were great. As for the sliders...well, I can see why this place is so popular. I could've eaten a bunch of those delicious things! Very good experience with these fast food champs, and can't wait to return. I ordered a BBQ slider expecting it to be, well BBQ. But it was just a regular slider with BBQ sauce. Which I guess was my fault because I should've read the description better. So, my mom and I went in to White Castle in Camby, Indiana on July 23rd. The lobby was trashed, and very under stocked. No napkins, or sauces, and it was very unclean. We went to order, and the boy was very unfriendly, and acted like he didn't even want to be there! The manager working was very rude to their staff, and it seemed like only the cooks and person at the window were only the kind people in there! Very unprofessional! Not to mention, the boy treated like our order was complicated, when it wasn't at all. One more thing to add was that all the drinks weren't available.
