The staff was very friendly and helpful but I waited for over a hour for a order I had online after sending this 45 mins before. White Castle is the "Krystal of the North" and it's a guilty pleasure of mine! This location marks the halfway point between our home and my husband's childhood home in Fairborn Ohio. Its where we fill up with petrol across the street and make a pit stop both heading north and south. White castle's sliders are good. It's quicker to go inside versus using the drive through. The staff are generally friendly here and the sliders are always hot and, of course, greasy. They stay busy ya'll! The only bad experience I've had here was with the impossible burger slider. Made the mistake of making an online order on Valentine's Day. They were not busy inside several tables empty (reservation only)but they were still turning people away even though there wasn't anyone inside and all the tables were empty and not letting us pick up inside. I had already paid through the app so we got in line after being turned away for inside pick up. I made the order at 710. We got up to the drive thru at 811 and they couldn't find the order then told us to pull up and they would make it. So you're telling me I have been in line over an hour and you still pull me up? The girl at the counter was great but the company itself I feel is false advertising. I ordered a combo meal for breakfast and was asked if I wanted a coffee, pop, or orange juice. The combo meal was $6.49 on the screen so when I answered pop and she said the total was $10 and some change I asked how did it go to that much. She stated the soft drink jumped my price up. She then rang me up for a coffee but still gave me the pop cup my total was then $7.35. I'm just confused on how it's a combo meal drink included at this restaurant and how the price jumped that much because I chose a pop instead of coffee. If it's a combo meal drink included then the price should be the same unless you up the size of your drink. So we stopped at the White Castle in Elizabethtown KY. My first time at a this chain!! Big let down. They were out of ice cream out of 1921 burgers, and most of their sodas were empty. Done a online order 12/24/23 was supposed to be done at 5:47 got there and doors where locked went thru drive thru and they said they where closed tried to tell them i had a online order but they would not come to the window .I had already been charge $48.00 for the order but never got it all i heard was we are closed and i can't help you. There is no such thing as fast food at this establishment. I put an order in for pick up using their mobile app at 11:45, their app said it would be ready by 12:10. I arrive at 12:15 there was a ridiculous long line but the mobile app assure that you can go inside to pick up order that wasn't the case because the door was locked. It took me calling 4 times before I could get anyone to answer to ask if they just could just bring it out to the door which they then informed me that they had not even checked their online orders and I would just need to wait in the drive through line. It's now 12:45 and I'm still 3 cars from the window to get my order. What is the point of offering the order through the app for faster service option if that is in fact the complete opposite? read more

This honestly was one of the best White Castles that I have ever been to. Sliders actually tasted fresher than usual. Bread was soft, and the "burger" tasted fresh. I've been familiar with the eateries around the Hardin county area since Thanksgiving of 1991. Now here it is right at 2 weeks before Thanksgiving 2017 just shy of 26 years later I find myself hotel surfing due to my Tractor being in the Body Shop for some "Deer" repair, but that's another story so I'll keep this short and simple. My Rating Tonight and just for tonight. 1) Food taste 4 2) Drive through cashiers competency 0 3) Remainder of staff competency & integrity 1 (because there was only one person not trying to blame me or the company for the drive through cashiers ignorance) 4) Overall attitude of employees 1 (should be a zero to, but the manager faked the funk) I'm sure they're still bitching about me and "my nerve" 5) Cleanliness of cooking/prep area 1 uh, ya, filthy and no hair nets on the long haired prep and cash staff I don't normally eat these disgusting Petrie dish experiments but took the wife and dog there since the last time I ate anything from this restaurant I had a gastronomical event that made amoebic dysentery look like the common cold in comparison to pneumonia. Anyway, know what you are buying and be prepared to have proof. The sign outside read: sack of 10 cheese sliders $7.99 - I tried to explain this to this beard toting samurai top knot millennial wannabe but he stated: The only thing we sell 10 for $7.99 is the holiday sampler. I've been eating sliders for many years and have always felt like they were a bargain and so we would buy them by the sack. Well they had a special today, buy 20 for $10. Seemed like a deal since they were regularly $.74 each. When we opened the bag to eat our lunch we noticed how very small they have become. The only reason why I came here is because they have the "IMPOSSIBLE" slider which is Plant Based. It's been hard to find restaurants here that sell plant based choices. Then second the Mac and cheese bites were a good amount but I could of made it myself. The Mac and cheese was kraft Mac and cheese you can buy from the store. All they did was just stuff it in dough and fried it. I honestly could of made that myself at home. The food also was not that great and the protein size was mini. I rather get a Big Mac from McDonalds. I don't recommend White Castle if you are looking for a big meal to make you full. I had to go to Taco Bell after White Castle just because I was still hungry.
