    Definitely worth the wait
    Jessica D.

I know White Castle typically has a bad rep for their quality and service, but I thought our burgers and fries were pretty damn good. 4 stars because of the looooong wait at the drive thru but other than that the food was good. My mom and sister tried it for the first time too and they also thought the burgers were yummy!

The size of a CHEESE SLIDER

Came here with someone who really wanted these lil slider burgs. So all I can say, is good luck! Ha. We survived ordering and waiting in the car while we watched an argument in the parking lot go awry. And stayed in car nervously waiting for over 10 minutes. I know you can order 100's of these lil burgers, but the wait?? We finally got our order and the sliders were ok, very hot and clearly microwaved. The clam strips and fries were good, but was it worth it? I guess it was, cause we got a 'Hey Girl' as we left! Good luck!

Valentine's Day - same menu, nicer presentation

I would give this place 2.5 stars. I came here for dinner on Valentine's Day. You can make reservations on OpenTable a month in advance. Half the restaurant was for Valentine's Day table service and the other half was for regular customers. I liked all the Valentine's Day decorations. We ordered the 6 chicken rings combo meal (comes with a small drink and fries), 2 double cheese sliders, and a Belgian waffle slider. Service was very slow and when we received our food, the food was cold. The only hot item we received was the fries and that was because they forgot about it. The staff were nice and friendly. It was an interesting experience for Valentine's Day but I would not come back. I feel like I could have a better meal at Popeye's nearby and that's what we did after our meal here.

Rubber sorry Clam strips @ White Castle no bueno!

Drove through. Clam strips with an unnervingly rubber texture and taste. Something that felt like a piece of pebble or tooth turned up....for what? Sliders....a bit better. The End.

Trash always trash, slow service these chicks in here think it's always play time instead of work time. Makes you want to yank them over the counter. If service was a bit responsible this place could be tolerated a little more. The online app ordering is almost nonexistent in this place cause you always have to wait for your order instead of having it done at the reasonable time given on the app. Lots of patience needed when walking into this trash dump to get those delicious little burgers

The worst White Castle in this fast food chain is located in Brooklyn, New York on Empire Boulevard. I took my Mom through what should have been a two to three minute drive thru that lasted 20 minutes. There were only two cars in front of us and when we pulled around we noticed the workers were playing around with the Manager on duty. There was no one for them to service inside the restaurant and all of the food was cooked. I started to wonder if I was on MTV's Boiling Point. All we ordered was a few cheeseburgers with French fries. For as long as we waited we could have just gone to a diner to get a better quality burger for the same price. Interestingly enough they didn't even apologize for the delay. Thanks to the horrible service, I'll never be eating at White Castles again.

Ignore the shady characters asking you for money and never mind the customer only washroom that you need to get buzzed into. Walk straight to the counter and order as many crispy jalapeño chicken sliders as you think you can stuff in your face without choking. The cashier was surprisingly nice and happy. I was skeptical at first BC I was not a fan of the regular beef sliders, but wow was I blown away by the tastiness of their chicken sliders. We waited approx 5-10 minutes for our order. They were piping hot, crispy on the outside, and super moist on the inside. The bun was fluffy and soft, and the crispy fried jalapeños on top added a nice kick. I'll definitely be back for more Also had the crispy jalapeño beef sliders (99 cents), not a fan of their mushy beef patties. Stick to the chicken(~2$) and you won't be sorry.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Stop by if you have a chance.

Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave.
