Maria was at the window today, as she is most of the time when I have done the drive thru thing. She has a fabulous smile and wonderful personality. After another failed food attempt, my mom and I stopped here to pick up some quick food. They did not have a long wait, which was great as most places that are open, do. They are definitely taking precautions at this establishment as they are wearing masks, gloves, and did not even touch our credit card when paying. I was craving White Castle and my craving brought me to this location. There is a small parking lot that fits approximately 4 to 5 cars and there is a drive-thru window. We always got fries and an orange drink. It was my favorite meal. As a Teen ager we had barn fires under the Whitestone bridge on Friday nights. Wow! This White Castle Takes me way back in time. The One That started it all! I would go here with my friends Back in the Day, 30 years ago. Even though I didn't live here, all of my friends did. Though the local crowd leaves something to be desired, I still prefer eating here vs. taking to go - gotta be fresh and steaming! A medium is close to 32oz and with free refills, this pretty much means endless drinks. Luckily they have a public bathroom. I've been coming to the location as long as I've been driving, since the 1980s, and although the decor may have changed, the taste is "same as it's ever been" - I go steamed with cheese and sometimes will add some onion rings, but usually not. EDIT: I want to qualify my 4-star rating by saying that the historical significance of this particular restaurant and my adolescent life will forever color my vision of White Castle, in general, as rosy, and happy. White Castle has a novel appeal for me because the franchise has no locations in my home state. Every couple of years, I'll be traveling and come across a White Castle and decide it's time for another round. Thanks to this location being open 24/7, I was able to make a visit around 2:00 AM earlier this week. Holding back on my more gluttonous instincts, I ordered just three sliders with cheese, these days costing about a buck apiece. To please my driver, I also ordered some french fries. The car in front of us at the drive-through took several minutes to receive their food, but my order was ready as soon as we reached the window. My burgers were better than I had expected. White Castle is known for small portions, but each of these sliders had some substance to them. The onions are one of my favorite parts of the sandwich, and I was not disappointed on this occasion. The French fries were also good. This was a pleasant experience and the happy memory will tide me over until the next time I'm in a White Castle state. read more

Easily noticeable from Bell Boulevard or Northern Boulevard, the service at this White Castle was what you would expect from any fast food restaurant. While they do serve your order in a timely fashion, you do have to wait up to five minutes for your order to be completed. They give you a number on your receipt, and they call your number when your order is ready. As for the restaurant itself, the employees here treat you with the same enthusiasm as any other fast food worker. Every time I've been here, the restaurant has been relatively clean. I repeat myself when I say that if you're looking for a candle-lit dinner, this isn't the place for you. Summary: Cheap delicious burgers. Same as every other White Castle. i had a warm place in my heart for this White Castle. Now I just have a burning sensation in my stomach!!! As a kid, my parents use to stop here on out trips back from the City. Ordered thru white castle app, went to drive thru to pick up order, 2 cars are ahead of us and it took over 30 mins just to get to our order. Each vehicle ahead of me probably took a good 8-10 mins each just to get their order. Drive thru worker has terrible attitude asks for name we give order number and they say it only goes by name, nowhere in the confirmation email mentions that we need name and therefore when we were unsure of whose name the account was under, the female worker gives mic to male worker who gives more attitude stating it only goes by name and we need to have it. After just confirming our order we get up to window after a few more minutes the female worker asks if we ordered combo which we stated we were there for the order from the app and she asks for the name again, we give her the name and she brings us the order. We verify the order to make sure it is correct and we noticed an item missing so we get her attention again and ask for the missing item to which she states they were out of the item, to which I replied "when were u going to let us know?" considering she closed the window once we initially received our order and proceeded to assist other customers with her headset. Once I mentioned the missing item and questioned it she states that she can give us a replacement item for it to which we agreed. Overall everything from that experience was excruciating from over 30 min waiting from a mobile order to customer service and accuracy of order and communication. Burgers and fries were cold and soggy btw. Not to mention the receipt that came with our order has the order number on it! Horrible place and will be never going there again. read more
