Centre Millwork got its start maybe 80 years ago back in what was the industrial part of town. Mr. Roth, a local builder set up shop building kitchen cabinets. If you're a longtime Long Beach owner, you've seen his "Holiday Cabinets". After relocation by a corrupt urban renewal project. Centre got a new start at the foot of the Long Beach Bridge. For lumber and building materials, I simply wouldn't consider anywhere else. They have a great kitchen cabinet area where you'll pay significantly less for top quality stuff. Check out Centre Millwork. They're one of the nicest businesses in town and certainly among the fairest to their employees.

However, he leaned against my door twice while installing it causing the doorbell to ring twice. I paid him $255 to install the lock. Plus I paid $87 for the supplies need for installation. 5 hours later (at 8pm) I discovered that my doorbell no longer rings. The bell is jammed on the outside of the door. (not electric). The next day i called Joel & Anthony. Joel said, I told u that ur on your own. Anthony said I didn't cause your doorbell not to ring. In fact, he said I thought u were calling so that I can install a NEW doorbell. I said to him, maybe that's why u jammed it. He said have a nice day & hung up the phone. I've been in my new apt for 13 days. I'm now WITHOUT a doorbell. BEWARE of who Joel recommends.

The young women covering the self check out seems to not know what she is doing. The was a price difference in the metal buckets. I picked up one that said $6.98 and the register showed $7.48. She called the Front end women with the long braids and all she did was argue the point. Whatever happened to customer service? Maybe that's why I prefer to go to Home Depot. At least they try to have a solution. The long braided woman would jot acknowledge that not only thae buckets were in the wrong place. In both area where these buckets are located, none had the $7.48 price tag. She continued to only argue the point. I believe this will be the last time I come. Home Depot is not that much further.

He spent a pretty long time with me and gave me a very detailed quote and several weeks later we ordered them. Since two pieces were very long, we had them delivered. Very satisfied. Eventually we ordered many cabinet handles, shutters, house numbers, crown molding , colonial window trim, Sheetrock, plywood and Azek beadboard molding. Much of that was also delivered. Still very satisfied. Here, I feel like if I ask a question, and the guy I'm asking isn't 100% sure, he's not going to BS me, he'll ask someone else. That's great service. Overall, their prices are pretty decent, too. I highly recommend them. And I hope I remember their names so I can go back and edit this.

Later, when I thought I either overheated and ruined the fan motor or the fan motor was defective they walked me through the options for testing the motor and started the warranty process just in case the motor was defective. Because the fan is on a high roof and difficult to get to I went ahead and bought a new start capacitor and a new motor to only send the repair person up there once.. As it turned out, the motor was fine. The fan was turning very slowly because a paper towel got sucked up the flue and was dragging on the fan slowing the motor way down. YAY, I did not need the new motor. Volco was great. I was allowed to ship back the expensive motor for a refund and received the refund very promptly. Capacitors, of course, are never refundable. The fan works great and keeps my covered and mostly enclosed patio smoke free. I will never deal with any other company for high temperature exhaust fans and fan parts. THANKS VOLKO!!!!
