Horrible customer service!!! I was trying to buy a metal bucket. These women here are apathetic to customers needs. The young women covering the self check out seems to not know what she is doing. The was a price difference in the metal buckets. I picked up one that said $6.98 and the register showed $7.48. She called the Front end women with the long braids and all she did was argue the point. Whatever happened to customer service? Maybe that's why I prefer to go to Home Depot. At least they try to have a solution. The long braided woman would jot acknowledge that not only thae buckets were in the wrong place. In both area where these buckets are located, none had the $7.48 price tag. She continued to only argue the point. I believe this will be the last time I come. I was looking for a new refrigerator and made a stop here. Nobody helped me while I looked through all of their selections which is perfectly fine. I went to the customer support to ask about delivery and the lady was clearly too busy on her cellphone to notice me. I waited a minute until she made eye contact with me and then I proceeded to ask her if installation is included with delivery. She gave a very stern answer that installation wasn't included and its only curbside pick up. I then asked her if there were other payment options to have installation services, and with an attitude she told me we are in a pandemic and that nobody is doing installations. As if I didnt know the current global situation, Im wearing a mask too! I read online of other stores doing installations even with the coronavirus pandemic, and they are doing it safely and cautiously. I didn't want to argue with her, so I just said... "ok, I was just wondering." She immediately went back on her cellphone. We're all trying our best but this woman just doesn't seem to care about customer service. All I get is delays, new delivery dates and excuse after excuse why I still have not received the items I paid thousands for. I bought a new patio set from the Rosedale Lowes. However when my ordered arrived it was missing half of the order. The next day the delivery guys show up again however they are still missing several pieces of my order. Now I've been trying to call Lowes for over a week and no one ever answers the phone. I've paid for the full order however I can't get anyone to answer to either give me a refund or deliver my missing pieces. There is no way I believe they are too busy to answer the phone. I was looking for a certain table for the Holidays. Lowe's had what I was looking for. It was delivered to my home with the base missing. It's hard to eat from a table on the floor. I called the next morning and the staff kept insisting that I was wrong. Finally someone said they would contact the furniture department. I never heard back from them. I called a few times more to no avail. I spoke to a manager who didn't get back to me. I paid $85 for delivery of a heavy table that I can't even use. Currently looking for a new Washer/Dryer. Went to this location to see what options were available. I immediately noticed two employees working in the major appliances department. One fixated on her cell phone & the other staring off into space. There were no other customers in the area when I arrived & not one of these two asked me if I needed help. I did notice the one who was in a daze, jump up & immediately offer assistance to people that looked like her. She made it a point to ask if they were Lowes card holders & was more than willing to be of assistance to them. At this point, I saw what was going on & continued browsing. After finishing with them, she went back to standing & staring while the other one continued to bury her head in her cellphone. Again, no other customers approached the area & I continued to browse & still, not one offer of help!! When one works in customer service, part of your job os to tend to ALL customers, not just ones who look like you. The customer service in this store is trash (& that's putting it nicely). If this is what Lowe's is ok with in regards to customer service - good riddance. There are some of us who are willing to spend our money but only in places where you're appreciated. read more

Lowes is a sham! Do not ever trust them. I ordered a kitchen with them and after the cabinets were delivered, they walked off the job for my kitchen installation which is still not done. Their supposed contractors damaged my floor going in and going out, floor and ceiling as well as deck removing the cabinets and moldings. Do not ever trust this deadbeat company. I have contracts and everything as well as all conversations recorded. I also applied for the financing which was 5% cash back or zero percent interest, they refused to give me zero percent with some story yet the credit card said it was wrong. I think they are over-priced now that I have been getting cabinet prices, Lowes 30k, all others are under 14k for cabinets, hardware, sink, and gooseneck faucet(lowes included none of this, had to buy it separately which I am stuck with now) granite for both countertop and full backsplash with bevels, STAY AWAY FROM LOWES, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND UNPROFESSIONALS They lied claiming the granite backsplash wasn't included but the contractor for granite told me lowes ordered both granites for countertop and full backsplash. The supposed project manager sky, was useless and never responded, I told him when the first cabinet delivered showed up, they want to drop them on the first floor, and if the contractor will bring them up, waited an hour, sent the truck away, called, I called sky, and he said he sent an email, like wtf, the truck is outside. The husband says the staff here is way more knowledgeable than the staff at Home Depot. I couldn't agree more! One of the staff was giving very useful advice to my husband! The Labor Day sale here was also very good. We got the chrome shelf and heavy duty containers all for our garage storage for a very good price! The worst customer service I've ever experienced! They delivered patio furniture after a month of waiting, but the table and two chairs were missing. The delivery guys asked us to call the store. When I called they keep putting me on hold and hanging up on me for literally an hour. I think I begged to speak to the delivery manager to at least 10 staff. GOOD-BYE HOME DEPOT! This Lowe's location just opened in March, and it is fantastic. The store is big and clean. The employees are very helpful. I know that stores are alway on their best behavior the first few months, but this place really is head and shoulders above the Depot in Valley Stream. They have a lumber and garden department. I ordered a frig and dishwasher a month ago. The day before delivery I was informed the dishwasher is out of stock. The dishwasher will not deliver for another month. They also moved the delivery of the Frig that is in stock for another month also. I have been without a Frig for a month. No one at this location will answer the phone. I have been calling all day. Worst customer service. I had a question as to where I can email my installation paperwork given that my fax machine is down. Called 3 times and each time I got transferred 5-6 times per call and each time waited for 10-15 minutes. For the last 2 call attempts, waited on hold for 15 minutes and was cut off. I am calling today again and have been passed on 5 times so far...still waiting on hold. Nobody seems to know anything and just passes the customers to another unit and they all are doing the same. Where is the quality control and supervision at Lowe's for customer service? I had already paid for the kitchen range hood for which the delivery is also being delayed also. I'll start with the pros. This location has a nice selection of items, at good prices at that. Most of the time what I'm looking for is easy to find, and if if isn't the website can just tell me what aisle to find it in. The store is clean with a nice variety, and is a convenient 10 minutes from my house. In terms of products and store apperance, this location gets five stars. However this location has a huge fatal flaw. And it's pretty apparent too, if you already can't tell by other reviews. The customer service at this location is HORRENDOUS. Never have I been to a store with customer service this bad. There's basically no one on the sales floor. Need help cutting plexiglass or pvc pipes? Good luck with that, you'll be waiting for someone for at least an hour. Want an opinion on what color to paint your kitchen or what tile to put down in your bathroom? You'd have better luck asking another customer. There's barely anybody on the floor, and if there is, they seem to have no time to bother helping you. First time I placed a curbside pickup order, I called the curbside pickup extension FOUR TIMES with no answer. I had to go inside to pick up my order. What's the point of offering curbside pickup if no one will pick the phone up?? Second time I ordered a large sheet of corrugated plastic at around 11pm. The email said that wait times may be longer due to the pandemic, which was understandable (higher order volumes, you know?). By 5pm the next day, there was still no update whatsoever on my order. So I hauled myself over there to the customer service desk and asked what the deal was. The woman there answered snarkily that there was a delay and it said so on the email, so I had to wait. Now if I came in around opening asking I would understand, but it had almost been 8 HOURS since opening and NO ONE had even picked out my items?? At the store I work at it takes us an hour at most to pick out your order for pickup, and even that's a long time based on our store's standards. But 8 HOURS??? How is that allowed?? The woman at the customer service desk said I can just get my item myself and bring it there to be classed as picked, then bring it home. No way in hell was I going back to the customer service desk. I ended up just cancelling my order and buying the item in store. A complete waste of time. I work in customer service. I get it-things get busy, people get stressed and customers can be annoying at times. But the least that can be done is have the associates put in some...you know...effort?? No one helps you on the floor. "Curbside pickup" is awful. Customer service associates get snippy. I work in retail and I get it, but at least show that you care about your customers and their satisfaction. Good riddance. Ordered the gas range from Lowe's in Rosedale, NY. Three were in stock, supposedly. Delivery date was two weeks from the purchase time. Ok, pandemic, I understand. Had to take a day off waiting for the delivery. By 8pm it was time to call customer service. The agent sounded very annoyed when he told me 'it's not out for delivery'. Why? -Don't know. We ended up going to HD (writing this review as we go!) even though it was a bit far from us, left all the things we already have in the cart! Terrible experience!! After purchasing $800 worth of stuff for an upcoming party and expecting it all to be delivered on time. Many issues presented itself. I purchased a grill gazebo they told me they had in stock and would add to my delivery order I placed the day before. The day of delivery now comes and they call to tell me they can't find my item. I spoke with a manager who told me he would try and locate the item, but at the end could not. He said he would issue me a refund, but after driving to the Lowes in Garden City to purchase this item they saw no refund had been issued. I then later had to drive to the Rosedale Lowes for them to issue the refund for the gazebo and for them to give me a different item they did not include in my delivery. The customer service here is terrible. Communicating over the phone is useless because they either don't pick up and when they do you will be on hold for a few minutes and then they will hang up the phone on you. read more
