It was a Sunday afternoon and I was looking for an alternative to what would surely have been another disappointing, poor customer experience at the nearby Home Depot, where if you don't die of frustration while trying to find things you'll probably die trying to make your way out of the Metropolitan Ave strip mall's insane tiny parking lot with no good access to Woodhaven Blvd
Ecua is rated well on Google and looked like a good alternative. I needed a no- contact voltage tester and I called to see if they had one. The shopkeeper picked up right away, was very friendly and attentive, gave prices of their four choices. I decided to stop by.
I feel like Ecua had everything I would ever need except maybe lumber and a few other material goods. I only took a quick look but the selection of basic tools and plumbing supplies looked extensive. This is a real hardware store; for "home goods" like mops and whatever you can just go next door.
Open late on a Sunday and not busy, a good convenient place with a helpful shopkeeper. Beware that parking will be difficult at most times. read more
