Midnight Seduction - flourless chocolate cake, cocoa nibs, port zabaglione

We stopped by on a Friday night a couple of weekends ago. They said that they didn't take names for a waitlist anymore and told us to come back in about an hour. We came back around an hour and a half later and were able to get a table. We ordered all four of the desserts and they were excellent. We also got a couple of pretty good cocktails as well. The inside is small but pretty cute.

"There's a new wine bar we can try after dinner!" My friends and I excitedly realize. It's a gorgeous April day here in Pittsburgh and all we want to do is go somewhere different. We walked into the bar and ordered wine to share. The bartender pulled out chilled tulip wine glasses, which is when I started to swoon. I'm a sucker for beautiful glassware and this did the trick. Whisper is upscale with a lot of wine options. You will spend similar amounts at nearby locations, with glasses $10-15 and bottles starting around $60. There is an outside table, bar seating, a couch/comfortable chairs inside, and tables. It also is still very unknown. It was quiet in there for a warm Saturday night. Pro tip: ask to see the spinning decanter. It's very cool.

We popped in after a show to get a cocktail and dessert and they luckily had a table available and were able to seat us quickly! The vibe inside is very cool, it's fairly small and intimate with a few tables and then a parlor like area adjacent to the bar. We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 desserts, but were disappointed by all 4 items. They all looked fantastic coming to the table but unfortunately taste did not follow. The drinks were both not very good at all, we both didn't finish them which is surprising cause we are drinkers! My boyfriend who's not critical at all (unlike myself) also was pretty disappointed as well. Ordered: Blueberry Jubilee (not tart enough, could be that blueberries just aren't in season, it also wasn't sweet enough in either the whipped cream or the shortcake- leaving much to be desired) Carrot Trifecta (this was without nuts which was great cause I have an allergy and the waitress was really helpful to go double check with the chef, but it too wasn't anything good on flavor beyond the presentation) Pecan Old Fashioned (Drink) my boyfriend thought this to be lack luster especially after having a great old fashioned at the Warren before the show Pineapple Upside Down (Drink) I think this drink needs some workshopping, it was basically separating the entire time and had a lot of chunks which made it a nightmare texture wise Total was $60 not including tip which was pretty expensive considering quality Overall glad we went to try it out, I may give it a redemption but I do think there are better places to get post show drinks and desserts downtown with better quality and flavor for the price

We wanted something sweet to celebrate a friends birthday after dinner downtown so we stopped by here. It was ok! Much better as a bar than a dessert place. The desserts were small for what we paid, but they were very good. Ambience was very nice and our service was great as well. Would probably come back just for a fun drink and get dessert elsewhere.

Cool vibes. Great drinks. Small menu. Very pricey but that's expected downtown. Right next to Bridges and Bourbon. Fine dining vibes.

Great vibes. Amazing service. We stumbled upon it randomly but it was the perfect stop for a nightcap.

Our table had two servers assigned to us, which was interesting. I'll be honest, I was skeptical of the prices and that I would leave hungry, but I was proven wrong! I was extremely full, and we went during happy hour so we got one of those deals! Split between 3 people, the bill was pretty reasonable! We each got a personalized wine flight. I got a rosé, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio - the rosé was my fav! Everything else we ordered: -Whipped Sheep's cheese w/ truffle honey + chips -Jamón & Manchego Croquetas (happy hour deal) -Patatas Bravas (happy hour deal) -Mussels + homemade sausage -Albondigas aka spiced meatballs (happy hour deal) -Bacon wrapped dates -Potato tortilla -Spiced beef empanadas -Espresso martini -Chocolate cake Overall I really enjoyed everything! Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd say my least favorite thing was the bacon-wrapped dates (I just don't eat dates very much). I was a little disappointed in the size of the empanadas, I'm used to eating bigger ones from other restaurants, but they were still very tasty! The food came out fast and was super fresh! Our main server Becca was funny, relatable, and really made this such a fun experience! She also treated us to the sangria chug (not sure if that's the official name but that's what I'm calling it lol). The dim lighting and dark decor makes a perfect ambiance for a girls night or date night!

I've only ever been for brunch and the offerings were delicious. We chose from an array of tapas that included olive oil pancakes, roasted carrots, gambas al ajillo, hummus, focaccia and more. I had a glass of Tierra Limpia (brut/sparkling) that was very good. The atmosphere is modern with European flair. Good service.

Obsessed. Came here…read morefor my birthday dinner without even knowing they do a great job for celebrations that includes a massive ball of cotton candy and a SPARKLER. Very chic inside. Love the lighting and the chandeliers near the bar area. Our server was wonderful. She was very on top of everything and even laughed at our jokes. What a gem. Cocktail menu is deceiving as they didn't have all of the ones listed but they added a few extra that our server was kind enough to bring to our attention. I ordered a daiquiri that was not listed and it was so good. More like thick juice than a cocktail. Didn't even taste like it had alcohol in it. GF ordered a jalapeño marg that was also more sweet than spicy but had the cutest little garnishes. There were many appetizers that were tempting but you really can't ever go wrong with a burrata, especially fried burrata. Theirs was served on a bed of tomato sauce and something green, likely basil related. So fucking delicious. Only thing that would have been better was if there was some bread to put that shit on. Love that they had a specific vegetarian entree: roasted spaghetti squash with creamy spinach, chickpeas, and arugula. This was very good but it was basically cream soup in the bowl with spaghetti squash. I ordered the Asiago stuffed gnocchi with corn in what was billed as a elotes type vibe. Very good and creative. They also have champ bongs which is incredible. How is this not more popular?? We ordered the pair of 2 for $14 (what a fucking steal amirite?) and all of the Gen Z broads at the next table were ooohing and ahhing so that felt like a fucking win for the old millennials.

If you're into photo-worthy spots, come here. We started off with the ratatouille flatbread and the crab fondue. Both yummy. For my main I had the teriyaki salmon and it was fine. I also got the sweet potatoes as a side and they were lovely. I tried to re-create them at home. For dessert I had the strawberry pretzel salad and as a native Pittsburgher, I was expecting something very different. It was good and unique, but it was not at all what I expected. I would definitely recommend the valet. It was cheaper than self-parking in a nearby lot.
