We bought a blue Quaker from Meg and she is just such a sweetheart. Meg was super nice and actually met nearby my house which was really nice. My sweet baby girl loves her new home and is so loving. I highly recommend Whidbey birds.

said still handfeeding better to get a sun still handfeeding so they bond with you - proof

Just like I said, victim blaming. Look at her other posts from dissatisfied purchasers. You ASSUMED since I have a reptile that I had experience. Nothing in my messages shows that. I had not asked for an unweaned baby, You said "it's better to get a sun still handfeedings so they bond more with you". I have all your messages I will upload. You said nothing about if I have concerns to message you again, prove it. My husband was nice but once I told him your operations he's views changed. You stood there telling me all the stories of people that posted negative about you trying to defend yourself. You did ask for the birds body and I told you no because I was going to send it for testing. You continuously lie and take ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for your mill you are operating. I have SEVERAL FB messages from all sorts of people that you have RIPPED OFF by selling SICK BIRDS more and more evidence each day. You cannot disregard SEVERAL people with proof. Why are you referencing K. Caven on my review? Trying to defend yourself? Guilty conscience? You were taken to small claims court a few different times and you did NOT win. STOP LYING. The conditions you leave those babies in is inhumane. Now you have puppies that you are breeding, wow. YOU NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN.

    Coco back then

My cockatiel wasn't tame at all when I picked her up (Meg told me she didn't have time to tame) she was boney, greasy and tail feather was chewed off, it seems she has been abused. She still hates hands but now she gained weight and looks pretty. Unfortunately she has respiratory infection as I could imagine from other people's review. Don't buy from this breeder. Go to Wings of the World. They do Top notch business.

My boyfriend and I learned recently that WAIF has a SPECTACULAR REPUTATION through neighbors as we chat with them about our recent adoption. They rescue animals on the island. One of our neighbors took me to the kitty cottage in Freeland next to the Healthy Pet shop. It's adorable. They do what they can with what they have as a non-profit organization and they do it so well. They keep their facilities clean and TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE PETS THEY RESCUE it appears. They work across the island. They have guidelines and seem careful about who is adopting and the kind of environment the adopters will be giving to the pets. The staff is obviously super caring. They have tons of information too. After seeing and hearing about WAIF, I can't help but spread the news about them and recommend them highly.

To deny a loving home to a beautiful animal because a staff person wants the…read moreanimal and can't take another one home, she is more than happy to keep the animal in a cage! I understand that COVID took a toll on staff members and shelters in the country, but to create such difficulty to adopt an animal is disgusting and wrong. I made the trek to Whidbey to go meet the animal, I knew it was just a meet. A test result needed to come back before the animal could be taken home. I totally connected with the animal and was very excited to begin another journey with a fur baby. Feeling good and couldn't wait - for the call that she would be mine the following week. Instead I was woken up Sunday at 8 a.m., this staff member telling me, this isn't going to happen. The animal was going to be too much for me. I wasn't the right fit, not a good match. Asking....would that be okay? WTF? I was so upset. Especially since the animal is still available 3 weeks later. Another review below, the same: "This place obviously doesn't want to find a home for its animals and would rather just keep them in cages and indoors."

The first time we came here, the owner introduced herself, and my wife and her chatted for a while. In the conversation, my wife mentioned that the K9 with her was her service dog due to her PTSD related to her service in the Navy. The owner mentioned that they had a veteran's discount, and so my wife was stoked on that as an option. We have been coming here for a few months, and during that time, we have received the 5% discount up to today [04 March 2025]. We came to get our 2 bags of K9 food and our bag of cat food and was told by the man behind the counter that only active service members are going to receive the 5% discount. My wife nor I have heard of only active service members receiving a discount at any store. The man was kind in regards to not giving us the discount and stated that it was something which had been in effect for quite some time so he seemed as confused about our situation as we were. If it weren't for the fact that this place is one of the few places that sell the brand Prey for dog food we'd stop coming here because we get a veteran's discount everywhere else we have shopped for dog food. I am sad that a local place, which is part of a close community of Port Townsend, doesn't offer a discount to those who have served for our country in the military along with active members. So if you are expecting to receive a veteran's discount (or have in the past), then this is a headsup that the discount doesn't apply. They are pleasant enough here and have a great variety of food options for dogs and cats. If we hadn't received mixed messages regarding getting a veteran's discount, then I wouldn't have taken the time to write this review with a 2 star rating. If they decide to accommodate veteran's along with active members then I will be happy to give this place a 5 star rating. Thank you for your time in reading this review. *Revision Renee reached out to me today [05 March 2025] and discussed the situation that occurred yesterday at Pet Town. It was refreshing to have a professional, relaxed and transparent conversation with someone who was quick to rectify the situation as described up above which had occurred. She let me know that she had clarified with all of the staff that works here to make sure that the 5% discount applies to military members, both active and veterans alike and for senior citizens. My wife and I will continue to come here for our purchases of food that we get for our furry family. The service has always been welcoming and professional from the beginning. I have also chosen to leave my original review above so that those who read my review will be able to see that this establishment is willing to go the extra mile for those who come to shop here and that this store is a wonderful addition to the local community. Thank you Renee and crew for continuing to shine and add to the community of Port Townsend in a positive way.

You tell me - One star or two?…read more I didn't receive any service, even though they are open until 7:00 PM. I pulled up to the propane station at 6:42 PM. Unloaded my two propane tanks to be filled. After waiting three minutes when it was clear no one was going to help me, I decided to call, rather than load everything back up and go inside. I asked if anyone was working the propane station. 'No, Propane is closed,' she said. 'But you're open until 7. When did propane close?', I asked. 'At 6:45,' she said. 'Just now.' That's customer service for you at the Oak Harbor Country Store. Whoever was filling propane today wasn't around at 6:42, 6:43, 6:44, or 6:45, so it's closed. How convenient. By the way, there isn't ANY sign or other markings indicating that 'Propane closes at 6:45'. And if it were truly closed, why isn't the propane station locked up? Why is it possible for someone - at 6:56 PM - to just walk up and snap the photo I've attached? Propane is so heavily monitored and regulated. Certainly this is a safety hazard to leave the propane station unattended like this? It's now 7:03 PM. The propane station is still open; nothing is locked up. A woman from inside just came out and asked if I was hoping to get propane. I said, 'Yes.' She said, 'We're closed. You'll have to come back tomorrow.' I replied, 'Then you might want to lock all that up. It's a safety hazard.' I pointed to the propane station. She called someone to come lock it up. It's 7:07 PM now. Still unattended; still wide open. It's been unattended, wide open, unlocked for at least 25 consecutive minutes now. They call it Joke Harbor, for a reason, people.
