It was my very first time at Which Wich. I decided to choose the ingredients of my sandwich. I chose ham, cheddar cheese, oil & vinegar dressing and oregano. I did not realize they put the sandwich through an oven on a conveyor. It turned out to be a very tasty sandwich. It was warm and on fresh baked bread. I really enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to return.

Honestly, the manager guy was super nice-he gets a 5 star rating, but overall experience gets like 2 stars. I did an online order, went to get it at the time it specified, and he said their system never printed the order so they didn't make it. He apologized, explained everything, asked to see the order on my phone-wrote it, then said it would be two minutes for the sandwiches I ordered. I was very understanding, I wasn't in any rush. He said I could take chips to make up for it, again he was very nice. I waited probably 7-10 minutes, got my two sandwiches and chips, and went home happy. I opened my sandwich and was honestly pretty disappointed. I had never been here before-for the price-I expected a lot more. It had almost all the meat on one side, didn't have any noticeable cheese, the onion strings were very hard, and the bread was overcooked so it was hard and falling apart. Overall, the food is pretty bad, but it really wasn't a totally unenjoyable experience.

Tomato avocado sandwich. To the manager or owner of this franchise...would YOU eat this?

I ordered the tomato avocado sandwich. The avocado was brown. BROWN. Which is a sign of them using old food from a prior day. I would never recommend them as this is a food safety and food quality issue.

Sadly, no vegan options, even the salads had meat and cheese. There was one Veggie Sub that I could have ordered without cheese, but nobody was able to give me an answer if the bread contained dairy or egg. They also were unable to show me the packaging so that I could read the ingredients. They do offer a "gluten-free" pizza, but for true Celiacs, are unable to confirm that it does NOT come in contact with any gluten. So, safe for anyone who is not a true Celiac and chooses to eat gluten-free. Bonus: Buy 2 slices, get a cola free! Perhaps not the best move for the business, as they sell a DELICIOUS slushy lemonade.

It is very casual and welcoming, and it honestly feels like a place that has something for everyone. We ordered the cheese pizza, veggie pizza, mozzarella sticks, and fries and everything came out fresh and satisfying. The pizza was super cheesy and the sides were a great addition. They also have a lot of dessert options, which was a nice surprise. We tried the black cherry and mango Italian ice, Eli's plain cheesecake, tiramisu, and a chocolate chip cookie and everything was really good. Another fun touch is the mini arcade inside, which makes it a great spot for families, groups, or just a laid back meal. Overall a great casual pizza spot with tons of options and desserts. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Arlington Heights or Hoffman Estates area.

There is a monstrous screen behind the bar for sports, but they mostly show videos of Greece, but they are mesmerizing videos of a beautiful country. It's a cleaner version of Dengeo's. And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. The first time we went, they had a serve yourself soda fountain and they since got rid of it and sell soda in bottles and cans. They do still have a self-serve water station. Once you order, staff will bring to your table, so please tip when you order or leave on the table as they do come by and clear your table as well. It is first come first served and you grab your own tables. I've been there on weekends and weeknights and they get pretty packed. The food is flavorful and quite tasty. The portions are huge so you're definitely going to bring something home. Nostimo is now in our rotation of places to go in a pinch and they do have an outdoor seating area, too.

Since there was a total of 11 and the seating is first come first serve, we decided to call to see if they had reservations. They did take our name and reserved a table. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

You order at the counter and very quickly they deliver the food to your table. This time, I had a double butter burger basket. The double burger is a substantial amount of meat - you'd better be hungry. Their fries are very good - they were delivered hot and crisp. And I like their root beer. The only negative is their gluten free bun. They do take it seriously and the bun is delivered in sealed plastic for those with Celiac Disease. But the bun does not hold up - it starts to fall apart as the meat juices run into the burger. Fortunately for most diners, you'll get their regular bun which doesn't have this problem. I'd suggest to Culvers to test other Gluten Free bun options. Besides that, Culvers is consistent across their locations - good food and good service.

The restaurant itself seems to be generally cleaner and better organized than some other locations I've been to. Service is fairly fast and friendly and there's a good amount of space to casually hang out at this restaurant. Most of the time it's not extremely busy, but even when it's busier - the layout is fairly effective at dispersing noise. Food is generally reliable here - hot food served hot, cold foods nice and cold. I generally come here for the custards, but occasionally get hot food (with a frozen treat after). While it's not the cheapest, I feel that you can get smaller portions here without paying high prices as most spots start with high prices for the smallest options with small increases in prices for significantly larger sizes. The options around the area (La Michoacana, McDonalds, etc.) are generally lower price overall though -- and I like Culvers more for sundaes that have mix-ins, as there's a lot more flavor choices elsewhere. Overall, solid spot for a sweet treat with a full selection of hot options as well. Good to enjoy standard American favorites at fast food prices.

A bit pricey- almost $15 for those two alone! So let's do a drive-thru review: 1- service was quick, but they quickly slap a number on your rear view mirror and tell you to go park and wait. I went and did that. 2 - while waiting, I noted it took about 6 minutes for the sandwiches to come out. 3 - The guy who brought out the food was nice and pleasant - natch. Now- I decided to look at the hamburger first. Not too big. The burger bun was almost chilly, not warmed up at all. A bit of mayo too - not a bad thing. First impression of the hamburger: kind of meh. No real "flavor" to it. Hardly any salt or pepper. There was nothing that said "savory" to me. and the bun just was sub-par. I think it was supposed to be a butter burger bun, but Culvers? You're skatin' here. This bun should be warm ir not mildly toasted! So- it was "meh". The grilled chicken sandwich- same bun issue as above, sorry to say. And the same lack of spice-flavors. The chicken was just- meh. Culvers - THIS is why I'm not enamored with you. There's no effort, only a high price. Give me a bit more flavor. Give me buns that feel like they didn't just come outta the cooler - as these did. I'll then be back. But for some reason I just don't see that changing. Culver's is too invested in this poor experience to try just a bit harder. And more's the pity, as I really, really wanted to like them.

Sometimes my brain craves doing something out of the ordinary to combat the responsible part of my brain that sticks to a routine so I got both. The drink was just what I remembered, the corn dog was hot, crispy, and the batter had a good taste. I got the cheeseburger with no cheese (my body cannot process it lol). The patties tasted like they were from the golden arches. It was a little too saucy for my liking, but I wouldn't say no to it if we crossed paths again. The ambiance was...my car so it was clean and had my favorite radio station playing. The food was brought out fairly quickly and without much fanfare, which was okay with me. I parked as close as I could to the door so the staff member didn't have to trek super far.
