    Coney dog with onion added

This Sonic location is primarily a drive in, but it does have a eat-in dining area where you order at a window or using the app. My rating here is based on comparing this with other fast-food locations, and I always order using their app. The items I have tried here are primarily burgers, Coney dogs, and their snack wraps. All of these are first rate. The staff here while seeming to be a little shorthanded always performs well and never has made a mistake. What more do you need?

I didn't necessarily have high expectations or anything since it's fast food and I've gone to plenty of Sonics in Texas, but this one was... meh. The food and shakes we got tasted fine, but it took a while to get delivered and they forgot the jalapeños on the fries. The server also left the red tray at our table in the patio and walked away without a word. We ate in the patio area which is enclosed and has a window to order at if you buzz for someone. I feel like they're just short staffed so service is slow. Oh, you also need a token to use their restroom since it's located outside of the patio area.

Our two medium drinks. Neither good. One completely wrong. 75 sent charge for a piece lime that I didn't get and couldn't taste

Let me start off by saying as a reviewer it is my job to be as honest as possible. From the time I learned that we were getting a Sonic in my area... I was SO excited. Sadly, I have, at best, been moderately satisfied. Whether I have dined at the restaurant, picked it up to take home, or had it delivered the standard temperature of the food is lukewarm. The parking lot is riddled with potholes the inside is always dingy and the drive-in portion is not easy to access . Now let's fast forward to my experience today. My mom and I decided to treat ourselves to the beverages that we like from this restaurant. We pulled up through the drive-thru and there was exactly one car in front of us. That car placed their order and proceeded. We pulled up to the speaker ordered our drinks after being greeted as though we were interrupting something. No confirmation of the two drinks we ordered was ever given so we proceeded to drive forward. After waiting for a solid 15 minutes the car in front of us got their one item which was an ice cream cone. We were then told our total was $9.97 which I found shocking for two drinks. I had ordered a medium cherry limeade and my mom had ordered a medium lemonade slush. We were handed a bag of onion rings and tater tots and the window closed. Had to knock on the window and tell them that this was not our order and that we had ordered two drinks gave them our drink order a second time waited another 5 minutes and ended up with a lemonade slush that tasted like a yellow water and a cherry limeade slush which is not what I had ordered. We were also charged .75 for a piece of lime which I would think should come standard with my drink. It was also not in my drink. This trip was hardly were the dodging the potholes in the parking lot. It will be a very long time before I go back.

The drinks are impossible to go wrong on. Their slushees are cheap fun and healthier than a Slurpee (If you choose a real fruit slush) The food on the other hand leaves some to be desired The meat is of good quality, can't go wrong with what Sonic picks for meat. Toppings, performance is irregular at this location. I can get something that looks like a cornucopia if toppings or this sad excuse for a hotdog. This was supposed to have ketchup mustard relish onions and tomatoes. I got onions and tomatoes. And not much of either. Apparently the guy in the kitchen is half assing it today. It was cheap, I'll give it that and it filled my belly for lunch. Thank you Sonic. But please, improve on toppings accuracy!!!

Highlight was the cheese and the pickles. If you like a good cheeseburger, you'll love Rep's smashburger! Overall, good. I've tasted better smashburgers and better buns. This feels like a fast food version of the smashburger.

Reps is a smash burger place first and foremost. The only other food they have is a fried chicken sandwich and fries. They additionally have drinks, shakes, and alcohol. Typically, in my experience, places with such small menus have very good food. They need to be confident in their limited offerings enough to run a business off of just those items. I ordered one of their burgers, and even though all the employees were new, they were fairly quick in getting the food out. There are some things about their menu that I don't like and find confusing. Everything on the menu appears to be priced well except the burgers. This is because they do not include any toppings other than cheese and a side of 3 optional small pickles to put on the burger. All other toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc) are SOLD SEPERATELY. If I am buying a $9 burger, and you think it is good without toppings, I understand not putting them on the burger, but if someone asks for it, it shouldn't be extra. Once we get past the menu and on to the food itself, I find that Rep's is very correct. The burger, nicely smashed and caramelized, complete with it's cheese and (optional) pickles, needs no other sauce or topping. It is very flavorful, and paired with a nice brioche bun. It really is delicious! The problem is, without any of the extra toppings, it is kind of a small burger for $9. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't need those extra toppings one bit. In fact, after eating it with just the (optional) pickles, I don't think I would want to add anything, but this does make it less filling. So although this won't be an economical place to go if you are super hungry, it is a great place to go for a delicious smash burger. I wish them the best and will be back to try their Big Bad Bird chicken sandwich which sounds amazing!

I was scrolling through Uber Eats and I've seen this restaurant come up as a suggestion several times. Well being that I didn't want anything from the usual fast food options, I decided to give them a chance today. I am overjoyed that I did! The burgers were absolutely delicious & the fries were both crispy and fluffy, with just the right amount of seasoning on them! Nothing is worse than an overseasoned fry. Okay well some things are but you get my point. I did two separate build your own burgers. One for my mom who likes the rabbit food on her burgers, and one for me who wants meat cheese and all the deliciousness! She absolutely devoured hers and loved it and mine was absolutely fantastic. Pure deliciousness! I'm already ready to order from here again tomorrow! The food was fast, fresh, and hot so as far as I'm concerned the service if we went here would be fantastic too! I can't speak to the Ambiance yet because we've only had it delivered but based off the food I would say it's got to be very clean and orderly. I will definitely be getting the burger with the egg on it next time! They are competitively priced as well, especially given that your fries or chosen side are included in the price! Definitely give this place a try if you're near one of their locations I promise you won't be disappointed!

And Baker's Square closed YEARS ago in SoCal. Missed their pies and baked goods! So imagine my (pleasant) surprise when I found this little place in Palatine! I decided to head there for a brekky on a cool May morning. Stepped in, saw all the breads, pastries, and pies along the front counters- wow. I was greeted warmly and seated instantly. My waitress came right away, and I ordered unleaded (decaf for those in the know). It came in a little pot, ala IHOP, and was really, really GOOD. Wow. Decaf has come a long ways from the Sanka days! I ordered the INN-CREDIBLE V.I.B. which allowed me to order 4 yummy items of my choice - I chose the french toast (yummy and spiced just right albeit w/room temp syrup- not a deal-breaker but notable), a strawberry crepe (totally awesome strawberries, but the crepe was a bit colder than expected); scrambled eggs (always a nice stalwart) and two turkey sausage links (as with the frenchie above, nicely flavored!). The ambience was modern, updated, and felt welcoming and (thankfully) a bit familiar. Brought back some good ol' memories even if only the Baker's Square part of the menu was just pies nowadays. But the Village Inn lives on! And that counts - and I'll return. You should check it out too if you enjoy a good brekky at a classic American diner!
