Stay away from Endliss Dave, he won't fix anything and will try to steal anything you leave with him if you're not careful. Listen to all the other reviews. His name is Endliss, as in your experience will be full of Endliss bullshit if you work with him. I found he has this new page (apparently his old page had too many bad reviews so he restarted with "Wheelz" to get rid of them). He stole my Goped a few years ago when I left it for him to fix. After countless attempts to try to get it back, he ghosts me on and off for months, dodging all my calls and texts, then finally tells me it was stolen and then leads me on for close to a year since I first dropped it off as to when I'll see any kind of replacement or compensation (I also paid upfront, so I basically paid him to steal my GoPed). Luckily I didn't get anything stolen, but he didn't respond to me for a day and a half after saying that my scooter would be done by the end of that day. I went there and got my scooter brought it home. He left a tool in my scooter, so I took it back. He took the tool out of my scooter. I rode it, and the wheel was still flat so he didn't actually fix anything And then he finally fixed it. I get back home and he's messaging me an hour or two later that I have all his keys that let him get into his truck and his shop and everything was very scary and creepy and shady and as a woman, I would not feel safe, sending another woman there without knowing the stuff first. He is in a new location and it's very sketchy as well. Another update is about a week and a half later. My scooters wheel was flat again after not running over anything so I believe it was a low quality repair since it only took a week for it to not work again after not riding it on anything sharp or anything that would've caused the wheel to go flat again..... read more

UPDATE 09/24/20: One thing to make sure of is to ask for a realistic timeline for the repairs. I dropped off my scooter to him recently and it took a week and a half longer to get it back. Granted, there were a ton of emergencies that happened to him during this time, but just make sure to also get his number so you can keep in contact about progress. I also, unfortunately, took the scooter to him to add solid tires, and the scooter came back with a scraping noise on the rear hub motor. I don't know what caused it but he and another mechanic were unable to resolve the issue. My scooter now sounds really scary when riding. He also did not replace the rear tube screw cap when he refilled the tires. This is a minor issue, but he didn't respond when I inquired about picking it up. He also forgot to add back in the rubber lining beneath the metal plate that "waterproofs" the main board when he was looking at the innards. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Great work from Dave! Honest man trying to get a repair shop for the e-transit community going right in the heart of Downtown San Jose. Dave can do full service on all kinds of scooters and has absolutely the best pricing. I took my Turbowheel Dart (Zero 9) to him for some work and he kept an open line of communication with me the entire time he was servicing. Should be zero stars. These junkies are a piece of work. Day 1: Started with David, seemed like a good guy, a bit of a mess, but no major initial concerns. He gave us a quote and told us it would be ready in the next two days AT MOST. Day 2: Let it breathe. Day 3: we decided to call David to see when we could pick the scooter up, no response. Day 4: Davids phone was now out of service. So we drove downtown to get the scooter from David, he was not there. Jon was in the back of the shop and spoke to us through the wall for a good 15-20 minutes before i had to ask him to show his face (He sounded like David). Jon then said he didnt know when David would be back and that he could take over the repair for us. Seeing our frustration with the lack of communication from David, Jon insured us he would keep in touch and let us know when it was fixed the next day. Day 5: Let it breathe. Day 6: i tried to call Jon and he didn't pick up. I called multiple times and he finally sent me a text asking who i was (i had called him on Day 4 to confirm he had my number), when i told him who i was, he confirmed the scooter would be ready for pick up the evening of the next day. I told him i would show up at 5 pm. Day 7: since i had driven down there already and the guy working on my scooter wasn't there, i decided to check in before i made the trip. 2 1/2 hours after i texted, he responded asking if he could drop off the scooter to us, i said yes and he told me he would head my way. 1 1/2 hours after that i texted him to see where he was and he said he got 2 flat tires on his way and that he would need to deliver it the next day at 11 am. Day 8: i havent heard from him by 12:30 pm so i text and he says hes running late (obviously). He said he would be 30 to 45 minutes. An hour after that he tells me that the tire is not fixed and he will need to repair it on his way, then he mentions that he is delivering our expensive af scooter BY RIDING A SCOOTER HIMSELF. I immediately ask him where he is (i would rather leave work and pick it up with my car than let him scoot across town with my belongings) and he starts playing a game where he calls me and doesnt say anything 4 times. My frustration is at an all time high and i am almost at his shop downtown when he finally tells me he is at a hardware store. I tell him to stay there, i pick up my UNFIXED scooter, and i call a different company to take my business to. If you like to be played with, these are your guys Wouldn't recommend them to my enemies. read more

Do not trust Wheelz in San Jose! I went in for a quick battery diagnoses / balance, which was suppose to be a one to two day turn around; i ended up being battery-less for well over a month with this shop. On top of that, i got back my battery in worse condition than when i dropped it off. This guy is a complete JOKE. From craftsmanship to customer service, he fails them all. He would promise me my battery would be finished "BY TOMORROW" over and over again.. I would get to his shop to pick up the battery and he always had a different excuse on why it wasn't done... He also ended opening up my battery and replacing parts behind my back. He told me he recorded everything, so that i could see what he had done and to see the quality of work he'd done... I have yet to see the video. And the best part is, when he gave me back my battery, he said it was completely "SEALED AND WATER PROOF". It didn't last 1 second. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop. My buddy is having literally all the same issues with this shop right now too. read more

Where do I start..... In January 2021 I called Wheelz to service two of my scooters, I called ahead and made an appointment with David the owner to drop them off. I arrived at his shop on time (during business hours) and David was a no show. Of course parking is not easy and I had to carry my scooter back to my car. David gave me an excuse about someone breaking into his car or something and he was tied up, and it was too important to let me know that he wouldn't be there, red flag #1. Ok this is just the start of his lies. Finally after numerous texts back and forth I found a time he would be there. His shop is extremely disorganized, red flag #2 He assured me he could fix quickly. Fast forward to July 2021, after at least 10 trips to the shop, and 20 emails and texts and hearing his lies over and over I finally said just return the scooters fixed or not. So he said ok, come on Monday and you'll get them. I show up and wait almost 1 hour and he gives me back only one still broken scooter and says he's busy and for me to come back yet again. It's now two weeks later and I finally catch him in the shop, wait 45 min and get back my second scooter in 5 pieces. David stop your lies to the poor people who come and request service. i am new to the whole electric scooter world and already had a horrifying experience with another shop Scoo**rlandus which made my entire perspective of this business jaded. i admittedly came down hard on wheelz because i felt a lack of trust for any shop and the reviews werent all that wonderful. this being the only shop in the area made the decision for me. so let me get into it like this there are people in life who will be greedy and then there are people like the guys at wheelz who rather than take advantage of a situation which they could easily have done so with, not only didnt do that but went above and beyond to help me deal with my past crappy experience. dave made sure the entire repair from beginning to end was filmed on video camera from a body camera and not only showed me that my controller had gone bad but also provided an very easy to understand explaination of how it happened. he spent over 45 minutes just making sure i understood every step of the process and was extremely polite despite me being rather skeptical. all of that skepticism was gone when i came the second time to see what the diagnosis was. they always film repairs and battery builds he says and he wasnt lying! he showed me the entire video which made me feel safe knowing not only was he telling me the truth but he was willing to spend so much time making sure i had a level of confidence and assurance that everything was going to be ok. i dont know what those reviews that were bad are about but i for one dont believe those things after meeting him myself and going through this repair and the extra steps he didnt have to do but went out of his way to do so any customer is not only in the know but can be comfortable and safe knowing they will actually get what they need and for a darn cheap price. i spent 60 dollars on a controller installation included. i checked around at other shops and most would charge minimum 100 usually more. dont judge based off bad reviews because they are not close to being right in this case. thanks so much and i hope i dont have to come back because that means i need a different repair but if i did have to im glad its through them. read more
