We have used Les Schwab many times over the years for tires, brakes, and other automotive services,…read morebut this was our first visit to this specific location. Even with our familiarity with the Les Schwab brand, we weren't quite sure what to expect at a location we had never visited before. We were traveling with a retired employee who spent about 30 years working at this store and suggested we stop in while we were nearby. He shared some background on the location and its long-standing presence in the community, which immediately gave us a sense of trust and appreciation for the history behind it. This store is officially registered as Steve Wheeler Tire Center, Inc., a Member of Les Schwab Tire Centers, meaning it is a licensed, non-company-owned location operating within the broader Les Schwab network. It has been serving the community since opening its doors in 1974, and that longevity really shows. When we went inside, we were greeted and introduced to the manager, who was friendly and welcoming. We used the restroom during our visit and were impressed by how clean and well-maintained it was. Small details like this often say a lot about a business, and it was clear that this location takes pride in keeping everything in good condition. Overall, the shop appeared organized, professional, and well cared for. While we didn't need immediate service during this stop, the visit reinforced why Les Schwab has maintained such a strong reputation over the years, knowledgeable people, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to maintaining their facilities. Combined with the personal connection of having a former long-term employee vouch for this location, it left a very positive impression. Based on our experience and our long history using Les Schwab for automotive needs, we would confidently recommend this location, and Les Schwab in general, for tire and related services.

"Man, I'm glad I called that guy!"…read more I called Tony after searching on Google for a mobile mechanic that could do an pre-purchase inspection. I had found a car that looked awesome but it was 70 miles from my home. Tony answered the call and said he could be there the next day to do the inspection. He arrived on time and was professional and courteous to the people selling the car. He found multiple things that were wrong which were not disclosed by the sellers and would have caused the car to need more work than it was worth. If I had someone else look, or if I had looked at it myself, I would have missed these things. Tony saved me almost $7,000 and I'm grateful for his expertise. I will call him anytime I need an honest and reliable mechanic. Thanks, Tony!

Aside from that fact, their pricing is above the fair market price, usually by at least 10 cents a gallon.
