Having 21" rims with Chicago roads is just plain asking for trouble. I have brought my Bentleys to Francisco and the boys at Wheel Tech several times for repair and refinishing, and they have ALWAYS delivered stellar results, excellent communication and totally fair pricing.

I participated in a St Judes event and won a $640 gift certificate from Wheel Tech. The gift certificate has no expiration date or use by date. So I hung on to it till I had something to powder coat. When they where contacted to use the gift certificate, they said it was expired and no longer valid. I think this is bad buisness practices to make gift certificates and not honor them. How do you make gift certificates with no expiration date on them, then when someone comes in to redeem it you say its expired. Especially since the event was an event to help kids at St Judes hospital. I would steer clear of this company and their shadyness.

I just got my wheels back from Wheel Tech. Not only did they clean up all the curb rash, but they were able to get the exact color I was looking for. Once again, I can't say enough positive things about them. The entire process was smooth and very professional. The color is Shadow Black if anyone is wondering. It goes perfectly with the Brilliant Graphite Metallic from BMW

Nice guys, great service, like new wheels! I did all four wheels, got them back today, and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Worth the drive from the city!

Wheel Tech helped me with this bent rim and it was as good as new.

These guys are the best. Suffered some gnarley wheel damage courtesy of a Des Plaines pothole. Was told by several tire places that they couldn't do anything with it and could only sell me a new after market rim/wheel, but it wouldn't match the other 3 factory wheels. Went to the dealer to buy a matching one, but they suggested I check with Wheeltech as a new rim would be beaucoup bucks. I am glad I did, Wheeltech was able to straighten for a very reasonable price. Turns out the tire was damaged too, unfortunately they don't sell tires, but they referred me tirerack.com which shipped to Wheeltech the next day, as part of their normal route. Wheeltech put on that day and didn't charge me for the rebalancing and I was on my way. Thanks guys!

There are a lot of places that claim to repair wheels, but I can tell you for a fact that they have nothing on Ryan and the guys at Wheel Tech. When I bought my M3 last summer, one of the expensive Competition Package wheels had curb damage. The dealer agreed to fix it at no charge, but I really got what I paid for -- overspray on the tire, mismatched color, no blending, and a horrible finish. It actually looked better with the curb damage! Frustrated, I combed the web for a wheel repair place. I chose Wheel Tech, and after getting my wheels back, I am glad I did. Ryan took the time to properly fix the previous repair guy's horrible work and perfectly matched the factory "hypersilver" (which is very tricky). They also discovered the wheel was bent, and he corrected it. Ryan stands behind his work 100% and after chatting with him, it's clear he knows what he's doing. This is not a revolving door shop that tries to repairs wheels as fast as possible -- it's a shop of people who know the art of wheel repair. If my wheels ever get damaged again, God forbid, I will absolutely give Wheel Tech some repeat business.

Perfectly detailed last summer with the OEM silver 19 inch wheels.

The next morning I noticed a bracket sticking out the top of my hood. To my surprise it was a bracket that holds down the power steering lines. After realizing they forgot to reinstall it, I took a closer look around where the work was performed. The front right wheel well/bumper was missing a clip and flapping in the wind. There is also a splash bracket missing. All these items are parts that had to be removed in order to put the new power steering lines in. I fixed the rest of the issues myself. When I called to ask the manager if they had the missing bracket his response was "we have master mechanics here and any bracket that we take off we put back on." Well attached are the photos... I sent an email as well to see if they had the missing bracket but no response. My power steering does work fine, but everything else being wrong/missing doesn't give me peace of mind. Based on other reviews this family business, with a good reputation, was sold and a lot of the good mechanics left. I wish I had read that before taking my car there. Edited based on owners response below: You can see the two circled bolts where the missing bracket was. About 1 inch above where the bracket was is the power steering lines that were replaced. By saying "You emailed pictures of the bracket and it is not in the area we worked on" is clearly not true. It 100% needs to be removed to access the lines. It just goes to show this place will not take any blame for anything and is dishonest. I never received a call/email back after I emailed the photos. Take my car back to get looked at? No thank you. I fixed all the incorrect work myself. It's not even about the missing bracket, I already replaced it. The company's response and how they handled this situation goes to show how they are unapologetic and constantly deny something possibly could have gone missing.
