Got towed here (Deerfield location) after a tire blowout on I94 on a Sunday afternoon very close to closing time. I called them to let them know I was getting a tow and luckily made it a few minutes before closing time. They also had the right tire for my car (only one option at $350/tire though). Since this was a minor emergency and I was getting immediate assistance, I didn't mind. I did however notice that they tacked on life time road assistance fee - would have been nice if cashier had mentioned it before including it. I was almost scammed here. Went in for a flat tire patch for a single tire. after inspection, the employee Kevin stated that the tire couldn't be fixed and recommended replacement tires for BOTH rear tires as my car is AWD and they can't replace one tire. He gave me an estimate of $600 for both tires, yea I'm not paying that much on the fly. I told them to stick the spare tire on and I'll think about it. I went in for a caliper and rotor change and asked for a look at the brakes. They told me the rotors needed replacing assuming they were going to swap out the caliper with it too. Brought the car to another shop and clearly specifically told me that I need a new caliper and gave me a better price. I feel like this place does not know what they are doing and assume the problem is just what they think it is without fully inspecting it, this place should stick to just tires. They tried to sell me things that I did not need. 1. They said I had 'dry rot' on my tires. When asked, the technician could not point any dry rot on the tires. 2. They said I needed new rear brakes. Two days ago, my mechanic removed the tires and inspected the brakes. He said they were in good condition 3. They wanted to drain and replace the oil in the rear differential. I asked them 'what was the level and quality of the lubricant?' They did not know Either the technician was a liar or incompetent or tried to 'upsell' me. Terrible service !!!!! Run away from this place. Gave them quite a bit of business and they did me so bogus. With an appointment from 12-2 pm it's what they had promised me. I waited nearly 4 hours for rotation and alignment. Guess what after waiting for ever here they said my truck is ready. When I looked at it no rotation done. But charged me for it. I went in for an oil change and asked for a look at the brakes. They told me the rear brakes needed replacing. I only had 10k miles since the last time the brakes were replaced. Brought the car to another shop and they confirmed the brakes were fine but the slow braking was due to the control arms and showed me the issue. This place should stick to 'Just Tires'. read more

Never Go Here!!!!! I took my car in for an oil change. The next day when starting up my car it showed my tire pressure had gone down by half. Considering the invoice also showed tire inspection rotation and pressure adjustment, I decided to call to voice my concern. The employee implied that something must have occurred in the two miles I drove after leaving my car's oil change. It is insulting to suggest such an outrageous claim as the cause of the issue and that your company has nothing to do with any issue after servicing the car the prior day. Until yesterday, I had a very good experience with this franchise. Yesterday they were apparently overscheduled and it was a very different matter. I had booked an appointment online for 3:00, but my car wasn't looked at until 3:30. It took another hour to patch an area with a nail and discover that there was another nail which apparently would require a new tire. My car didn't have a warning light on when I got there. I had a 6:00 appointment so I said I'd bring the car back. Well, although I had told the manager the warning light had come on, he shrugged it off. My tire went flat two miles from there. It was all I could do to go back there and postpone my other appointment. They did replace the tire, but I didn't appreciate the manager's lack of apology for this debacle. They really should examine the technician's capability. They also should restock their completely neglected washroom. I'm now debating if I'll return there. read more

On October 21, 2024 at about 11:00 A.M. without an appointment, I brought our car in to have a slow leak fixed in a tire. Four hours later, I called to see what the status was. I talked to Kevin. He told me to hold on while he checked with the shop. After 20 minutes on hold I was told that my car would be the next car into the shop and it should be ready "within the hour". At 5:00 P.M. I call and they told me to hold while they checked with the shop. He told me that my car would be the next one into the shop. When I complained that I had been told that an our and a half earlier, he said that people with an appointment must have come in before my car was taken into the shop. At 5:45 P.M., they called to say that they could not fix the problem. If I had read the other reviews first, I never would have brought my car there. read more

The manager Kevin always has a positive professional manner. The team there has done multiple oil changes for me and I have purchased tires from there also. I would always recommend Kevin and this just tires location as they are a very trustworthy family type environment. I have never had an issue with this place under Kevin's leadership. I came in to Just Tires today for what I thought would be a simple repair. Lol not the case!! I had a nail in my tire OUCH. I made my appointment came in and right off the bat they are telling me I need a new tire. My car is fairly new with 30,000 miles so I was like hmmmmm?! "Your tire is bald" this man tells me. I really just wanted to patch this hole. I get everyone is out to make a buck! So they haven't even physically looked at my car. I showed him a picture which I will post below and they are telling me a bunch of bs. I decided to leave and go elsewhere.The best decision yet! I went down the street to SMITH AUTO was taken in right away without an appointment. He pulls out the nail which was stuck in the tire but did not puncture through. No leak at all just a stuck nail. I bought new tires at the Deerfield IL location 6 months ago. It took them 3 hours to put the tires on. I then scheduled for a tire rotation. When I got there, they told me it would be 2-3 hours because they were behind. Over the phone they told me it would 1-1 1/2 hours - just to rotate tires? they could have called me to tel me they were 1-2 hours late so I would not have wasted my time. I definitely won't recommend this place. They are not professionals and are not reliable. I had a flat tire and needed a repair or a tire replacement. I called before arriving, and I was told that if I got in before 1:30, I would get my car repaired today. I arrived and left the car at 1, and I was promised again that even if the tire needed to be replaced, I would get a call, and it would be done today. At 4:45, I received a call from the rep saying that the tire needed to be replaced, but they don't have this size of tire and since tomorrow is Sunday and they don't receive tires shipping on Sunday, it will be done only on Monday. If I knew that I wouldn't get the car today, I wouldn't bring it in there at all! I said that I couldn't wait for Monday and I would come to pick up the car immediately. 3 minutes later, I get another call that remarkably, they do have the tire, and the car can be done in 30 minutes. The staff was very nice and helpful. Not much else to say. They're very good at communicating when they're done with your tire and whatnot, overall a very easy process. I was so happy with my service, they were timely, clean, and most importantly they didn't talk down to me or try to over charge me based on my gender. What can I say other than this place excels in customer service and Alan Garcia, the Asst. Store Manager was very good . I had purchased tires across the street at Firestone. In June I had a flat and the place where I bought them told me it would be almost a week before they could fix/replace my tire. I went here and they fixed it while I waited. I held off, picked the tire back up and took it to Discount Tire in Mount Prospect, IL. Noticed that the valve stem had been removed while at Just Tire - Really?! I took my one year old Tesla Model 3 to Just Tires to have one of the tires checked. This tire consistently has a one to two pound lower tire pressure than the other three tires. Tesla had been unable to find anything wrong with the tire. Just Tires checked for a nail, checked for a rim leak and even took the tire apart to check it from the inside. They too couldn't find anything wrong with the tire. They spent about forty five minutes examining my tire. They didn't charge me anything for all that work.
