It breaks my heart to write this review, but I'm appalled by what has happened. Something has changed at this location. The technician purposely damaged my vehicle. Each wheel had significant damage from the impact gun. Another part of the vehicle stopped working at the same time. This part was recently installed at Firestone eight months earlier and should have been covered under warranty, which they refused to honor. Each wheel costs $450 each. I certainly learned my lesson the expensive way. Instead of creating a situation, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Don't get pissed at the customer because the tech is incompetent. read more

I made an appointment at Firestone Tires for 11am, and they confirmed it without any issues. However, when I arrived at the scheduled time, they told me there would be a two-hour wait because there were three cars ahead of me. What was the point of making an appointment if this was going to be the case? This isn't the first time I've had problems here. Their service is consistently disappointing and unreliable. I had a slow leak in one tire. I made an appointment for 1PM and told them I'd be waiting for the work to be completed. Despite arriving on time and being the only customer in the shop, they didn't touch my car for 35 minutes. When they did, they told me the puncture was "in the sidewall" and couldn't be repaired---around 45 minutes after I arrived. The puncture is a nail more than 1.5" from the outer edge of the tread and in a perfectly flat area of a modern low profile tire. Absolutely patchable. They said it was corporate policy not to patch any puncture in an outer tread block. The design of this tire happened to include wide outer tread blocks. They then tried to sell me a new tire at a price of over $300. They didn't charge me for the repair they didn't do, but this was an unpleasant waste of ~90 minutes (including travel time). Any other tire shop would have patched this tire---and the next shop will. I won't be back. Edit: as expected, the next shop (a reputable local shop) did repair the tire. read more

Not a great experience. I had a screw in my tire and called to ask about service and availability. The attendant told me to bring it in at a designated time. I hobbled the car over there. Upon arriving I was told the wait would be 3 hours. I understand you're busy but don't schedule me for an appointment. I've been coming here since before they became a corporate store. I was a huge fan of the last owners and felt like they went above and beyond for my business. I was disappointed they closed and it became corporate. The location of this place is close to where I work and it is beyond convenient so I gave them a shot. I come here for regular maintenance and did have a bad experience once with one of the customer service representatives. I addressed the issue with the manager and was pleased as to how they handled it. I really appreciate that I went in once and thought I needed an oil change and it turned out I did not. They told me right away and that made an impression on me. Since then, I have had nothing but positive experiences with Scott and Justin, who usually take care of our cars. They are personable and honest. I compared their pricing for tires to Costco and they were able to come within $40.00. I would recommend this business. read more

They completed the oil change but decided not to look at the low tire pressure error? Receipt says they called me about it. Also says I declined break and shock service but they never mentioned it. I bought a 2013 Volkswagen EOS Lux convertible that was in excellent condition except tires. I went on the Firestone website and selected their Deerfield location. Website was very easy to navigate to find the best tires for my car. You just enter the make, model and year of your vehicle and they show you all options and ratings w customer reviews. I chose one of their best All-Season tires that came with 80k mile warranty. I calked the store and spoke to Rob to confirm if these tires were recommended and in stock. He had to order them but only took 2 days so I made an appointment on a Sunday to install. He offered me $100 off as well as $15 off oil/filter change and free lifetime tire rotation!! They also gave me a free break inspection. Car was ready by end of day even though they were very busy. My car drives so much better! I totally recommend Deerfield Firestone for their excellent work and competitive pricing. read more

Drove in 2 plus hours before they close on a Sunday. Saw one car on lift and one car in lot only. Asked if they fix flat tires since I had a nail in my rear tire that I had to refill with air almost every 2 hours that day. The employees slowly looks up and grudgingly says sort of and then says maybe not today. Maybe he had a bunch of jobs to finish. maybe he had appointments still coming in, I dont know. After promising they would redo the alternator repair (they screwed up the first time) first thing in the morning, two hours later they hadn't started. but the kicker is that Hector hung up on my husband, the kindest person you'll meet. Hung up on him. And then in person Hector was rude and disrespectful again. Didn't even apologize for his non-existent communication and told me i was "yelling" at him just like my husband had done. Waited in the lobby for 15 mins, while one guy couldn't look away from the computer to even acknowledge me, some other guy came in answered the phone and walked away. Finally after 15 mins, guy said "pickup or drop off" never making eye contact, i said oh I didn't make an appointment, still without looking at me, "cant look at it til tomorrow." No problem friend, there is a tire place across the street, who helped me as soon as I walked through the door. We typically take our car to the dealer, but we've been to Firestone in the past and had a great experience. The other day we made a stop in to address our tire with a slow leak. We were pretty sure there was a nail in the tire, and sure enough they found it (happy dance.) But...we were unfortunately told that due to the location of the nail, it was illegal to remove it because it was too close to the edge of the tire (sad dance). We anticipated they would try to sell us new tires, which they did (and I would too, if I owned a tire shop), but since the tires have some life left, we opted to get a second opinion. We ended up going back to the dealer, who removed it for us. A minor inconvenience, but maybe that's their internal practice. Super nice employees. **My advice is to always get a second opinion if you're not sure. read more

They are open! I drove in here at 7:00 am with a bad grinding sound so I knew the news would not be good. They diagnosed the problem very quickly (bad rear brakes) and took care of me right away. I was out of there within the timeframe quoted, at the price we discussed when the diagnosis was given, and my time there was very pleasant. The staff is awesome. They keep you informed of what needs to be done RIGHT NOW and what can wait. I paid for the RIGHT NOW work and will think about the rest. I would absolutely come here again since they were professional and their facility is comfortable and clean. My brakes work fine now, no grinding or other bad noises/problems. Avoid at all costs. After doing business here for 25 plus years I was shocked I took my Lexus LS 460 in for an oil change. Yes it takes extra oil. No one asked what type of oil I wanted. My car was finished in 45 minutes and I was told my bill was 121.00. I was in shock and asked what it was 5 months ago. They adjusted to 82.00. Would give 0/5 stars if I could. Mechanic Tony greeted me at the desk saying I did not have a confirmed appointment after I booked online AND called 3 hours in advance to confirm. Tony did not even know the phone number of the shop when I read it to him and proceeded to argue it was not the number even after showing him his manager's business card which was placed right on the table in front of him and showed his total incompetence even after reading the same phone number off of the card. Will never bring this place any business again considering they never seem to want it. Every time I come in they say I dont have a "confirmed" reservation although I always call and am told to come in by "Hector", who is seemingly never there. They suggested I get an alignment (I knew I needed one anyway) but wanted $25 more than the dealership. I said no and told them what it normally costs me so they matched the price. Cool. Bad customer service and they don't seem to care if you return. I had a bad experience at this same shop years earlier with previous owners over bad information about my tire replacement so I had it done elsewhere instead. This time I only needed a broken headlamp replaced on my car. I arrived with only one person in the show room who was too busy to answer me with a simple yes or no for bulb replacement. After a 5-minute wait for nothing I went into their garage and they told me it's a one hour wait for a simple headlamp replacement even though their shop had nothing going on, no other repairs. They will not sell the bulb by itself either. So I drove a quarter mile down the road to a gas station that sold me the bulb by itself. I replaced it myself and it took only five minutes. Why would I want to return to that shop when I have this other one down the road that will work with a customer? read more

My son brought his Toyota in for some repairs, and he was offered a free brake check. I was skeptical, as hidden costs seem to have become the norm. To the contrary, the mechanic reported that the brakes were just fine. The work was performed honestly, professionally, quickly, and at reasonable cost. As a bonus, when I dropped my son off to pick up his car, Luke came out in the rain to fill my tires. He couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. Highly recommended. read more

Made an appointment online on Friday for Monday. When I arrived on Monday I was told you need to receive a confirmation, which I did but from corporate and not the store. Because as the Firestone manager said, he can't help it if no one in the store checked for appointments from corporate. Then he went to blame corporate for taking appointments for the store. However, the gentleman who came into the store after me, also made an appointment online and his appointment miraculously was welcome, so his car was taken ahead of mine. Interestingly, we both made appointments online, we both arrived for our appointments, the Firestone took his and jumped my car, while mine was ignored and blamed on corporate. The only difference myself and the other customer was gender. It seems that this Firestone values their men customers more than their female, and cater to their male customers more than their female. I bet they charge female customers more too. Bottom line, don't come here. Everything that goes wrong is corporate's fault and then if you are a woman you business is not appreciated. read more

It's always nice to have a go to mechanic, but when I recommend this place, friends call me a HERO!! This store is top notch! Not just the lowest prices on huge selection of tires, they offer full auto repair. The staff is helpful and courteous and the manager Scott is a top notch professional. When I first went there, it was due to a faulty alignment from an out-of-state Firestone. Without hesitation, Scott took full responsibility and went above and beyond expectation to fix the the damage ENTIRELY. Because of his follow-through with corporate, everything was free and I imagine part of that came out of his store budget too. He literally saved me thousands. Over time their labor and recommendations have proved to be spot-on. I never feel pressured sales techniques or add-ons. Sales or service, they are always the lowest price and I trust them implicitly with my 2015 Lexus RX 350. Simply the best. I honestly can't say enough about this store. read more

My 2006 Subaru Forester front brakes has grinding noise and I saw the ads on the company's web site $40 off for brakes work (per axle). I called the shop and they told me about $150. But asked my to bring the car for "free" evaluation check. I made an appointment and brought car next day. They made a "thorough check", open the hood, taken out all wheels, and give me works needed with a price tag over $1500 (10 times more than the work needs to be done). The store is about to close at that time. And I did not leave my car to the shop for the job. They put all wheels back and I drove home. Next day I called MyMechanics and have the job done for $155 and the break works like a new car. But before the mechanic started, he shows me that one of the wheel lug nuts half-way in and cross-threaded. I took pictures. It took him quite a time to take off the bad lug nut. So never bring your car for "free" check in this shop. It's not "free". It cost you. I can give you the 2 reasons this happened. First, they are mad about you if you don't allow them to do the job they suggested and punish you; Or they are very poor skills and cannot put the lug nut properly. Don't go there if you don't want to have my bad experience. read more

Way overpriced, terrible customer service. $25/tire install and $10/tire extra for cars with a tire pressure monitor system which all cars after 2006 or 2007 have! That's a ridiculous price. There are hundreds of other tire places that will do the job for $25/tire. This place is a rip off. Oh and don't forget all the other fees and if you have 19in+ tires it's $5 extra per tire. read more
