He told me after I showed him that "I wasn't old enough to buy the papers" to which I said to check the birthday but he refused. I went home and miraculously I had actually received my new ID in the mail so I went back to get the papers. I showed him my new ID and he flipped out cussing me out and accusing me of being an "ahole" for not having it at first. Extremely disappointed in this I thought Deerfield was a family friendly town now a town where gas stations employees are going to cuss you out for having the wrong ID. I'm not sure if the man was having a bad day or if he just had some issues but definitely beware of this place it's not very accomplished.

I bought a car wash at the gas station across the street from the main one. It didn't print out my receipt. The last time, a woman by the name of Jo, who works in the gas station said I had to take a picture of the pump the gas and how much I bought so she could find my car wash so I did it this time and came to her and she could not find it and said oh well I said I paid $10. I wanna have my car washed. I can't find it. I said the picture shows what time I was there. How hard could it be to find they're in order. I also told her that this is what you told me to do if it doesn't print a receipt and I took a picture and now you still can't help ? She said NO! So I said I'm gonna let Yelp know.

Aside from the really terrible and annoying payment processing machine (always quirky and broken), the wash is decent and gives us just enough dignity to drive our car around without tree sap or bird droppings from the birds that attack our car from the tree over our driveway. $8 for a super basic wash, but if our car gets extra dirty we opt for the $11 foam wash. We've never experienced any technical difficulties, but I know others have. We'll be back...thankfully it's been raining lately so we can save some $.

Analyze that! This Shell rarely, if at all, has any issues with pumps, cc machines, etc. They keep it running like a fine oiled machine. Quite a few pumps to choose from. Multiple different exits and entrances. Talk about convenience...right off 41 North. They always have windshield fluid in the containers and squeegees to brighten up that windshield. Twice in the past 3-4 months a staff member has come out with a cheerful attitude to help me with a problem. The new tire air machine was confusing for me and Jalen (maybe Jaylen?) not only showed me how to use it on a brutal frigid day but just began without hesitation to fill all four of my tires himself. You can walk in this gas station and immediately get acknowledged and assisted, always with a smile and positive vibes. I think it's the best in the area, where there are several gas stations within a couple miles radius. Prices are fair as well. Always a great experience.

Prices are fair, for a station right on the expressway, and you can save if you get a car wash after filling up. Their automated car wash system - A Ryko SoftGloss MAXX 5 brush friction wash system - is available 24 hours, and does a really good job for such low prices. They have a coin-op vacuum cleaner and air pump around behind the mini-market. The mini-mart is definitely miniature, but still well stocked given the limited area. The staff are all really friendly, too. This gas station is connected, by a small road in the back, to the Taco Bell and Wendy's - making it a nice late night destination to refuel your vehicle and your belly.
