This has to be the absolute slowest whataburger I have ever been to. This location has always been a bad reputation for slow service, The Forney location is way faster and knows way more business. I understand since the pandemic everything has been very unstable but when you have the lobby closed and just drive through you figure they drive through and move smoothly without having any interruptions from the inside lobby at all. This location needs to be looked at for re-staffing and re-training during peak business hours with low staff. I have operated 2 McDonald's back where I'm from and yes we have gotten busy to the point of it being chaotic but never to the point to where we've have customers calling in from the drive-through to see what is taking so long. read more

Went through the drive thru and paid for order. Very sour attitude from staff. Asked for cup holder and got a blank stare. Finally got drinks in a holder and bag of food. Pulled forward and reached into bag for a fry. It wasn't our order in the bag. Parked and went inside. Finally got a staff members attention and told them I was given the wrong order and they said "I know". No sorry, no explanation. First time having whataburger and man what a burger. The burger was actually pretty good, not amazing like everyone hypes it up to be. Me and the wife are from california and we grew up with in-n-out burger. Its no different, one main thing that is way different from in n out burger is the size of the burger. This place pretty good, its a delicious burger all around, cno complaints from me. The fries are alright, they are not all that good, but the burger is. I like whataburger cause of its size in the burger, was it amazing? no not really, good tasty burger thats about it, did not get a climax in the taste bud world... :D. Keep hearing stories about this Whataburger and it's all bad news. Today a co-worker stopped there on way to work to get a burger and fries. He didn't bother to check the bag before he got to work. They gave him his burger, and 6 ketchups, but no fries. He called them and the person he spoke to was pretty much not interested in hearing his complaint. This location is cursed with a manager that doesn't care and it shows in the people working there. If management doesn't care, then why should his employees? I have this issue with Terrell and Forney locations EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go to pick up food and I'm about done being their customer. They ALWAYS insist on charging you for dipping sauce, (ranch, gravy, creamy pepper etc.) which is totally fine, I will pay for the sauce. But the employees are too incredibly lazy to put it in the bag. Every single time, I have to get my butt out of the car and go inside and show them a receipt to prove I paid for ranch, for them to give it to me. Absolutely lazy and insane of the employees. I was concerned about stopping here, considering the wealth of negative reviews posted for this restaurant, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of food and service at this Whataburger. Our fries were hot and crispy, the burgers were well made, and we got three ketchup packets without asking. The only problem was that my chicken fajita taco came with no picante sauce and was therefore somewhat dry. I'd stop here again, thanks! read more

Went here for breakfast after stopping at Buc-cee's for gas, big mistake. Not only did we wait over 5 minutes since the guy @ the register (manager most likely) had to get cash...Didn't even bother to ask if we were paying with a card, and there were other employees that didn't even bother to take our order either! We used the drive thru because we were stopping on the road. There were 7 cars stacked in the drive thru. They were taking orders and money and then having cars move up and over to the right. There were 4 cars to the right, 1 in front of us and 1 behind us. It was not lunchtime! They were just slow with pitiful service. We watched for at least 15 min, because we're stuck with cars all around us waiting, while they came out to cars to ask what they had ordered. Then when we finally moved up, we were asked TWICE what we ordered and STILL ended up with a completely wrong order. The only reason my husband doesn't complain is because cars was starting to stack up behind us and we had to get back on the road. He ordered a sweet & spicy hamburger meal and ended up with two bacon cheeseburger meals. Evidently it was not good bc he ate half the fries and some of the burgers, after I combined the two and then just decided he would get something from Cane's when we stop for me in Shreveport.
