This was, without a doubt, the worst fast food experience I have ever had in my entire existence. I genuinely don't even know where to begin, but I'll start with this: if I could give this Whataburger zero stars, I would. In fact, I'd give it negative stars. I'd take stars away from the sky just so this place never sees one again. We walked in with hope in our hearts. We were starving. We were craving burgers, fries, peace, joy--simple things. But Whataburger decided to ruin all of it. We waited 20 minutes. TWENTY. MINUTES. For what, you ask? A gourmet meal? Nope. Just two basic orders that any other place could've handled in like, five minutes max. The workers were just wandering around like they had never seen a grill in their lives. It was like watching a team of people in slow motion, arguing telepathically, getting nothing done. When we FINALLY got our food, we opened the bags with the last shred of hope in our souls... only to be SLAPPED in the face with pure disappointment. One of the burgers had NO MEAT. Just sad little leaves of lettuce, a wrinkly tomato slice, and cheese holding on for dear life. The other was completely wrong--like they just closed their eyes and threw random things on a bun. Fries? Ice cold. Like, fresh out of the freezer cold. Not a hint of crisp. Drinks? Flat. Not even the drinks we ordered. So we go up to the counter--calmly--and explain, "Hey, our order is wrong." And do you know what this woman had the AUDACITY to say? "I'm confused." I stared at her in complete disbelief. Confused??? Ma'am, I'm confused. I'm confused how a fully staffed kitchen messed up two orders. I'm confused how you had one job and did NONE of it. I'm confused how you're confused. She didn't even offer to fix it right away--just looked at us like we were speaking a foreign language and then walked away. No sorry. No "let me fix it." Nothing. Just vibes. Wrong ones. At that moment, I realized this place didn't care about their customers at all. It wasn't just bad service--it was disrespect. I felt betrayed. I came in for a burger and left with emotional damage. I will never be returning. Not to this location. Not to this dimension of Whataburger. Not even if someone paid me. I'd rather eat toast and cry than ever go through that again. Had the worst experience with the drive thru on 2-17-26. There were four cars in the outside lane and no one in the drive thru window lane. Waited for 15 minutes to get my food and another 10 minutes to get my drinks, and the drinks were wrong. They won't be getting my business anymore. read more

I don't know what everyone is complaining about, but my experience was very satisfactory. Abby greeted me as I walked in. She's as nice as she is good looking. The food was ready promptly and it was hot. The dinning area was clean and bright. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

This is was our second visit to this Whataburger and it was the same result as the last time, actually worse. The bottom line is that this has to be the slowest Whataburger of all time. It takes forever to get your food once you order it. It was over 20 minutes before our food was brought out to us and then they forget two items. I had to go back and get those. The last time we ate here they took forever, but at least the food was hot, this time, everything was hot except my cheese burger. That thing was cold, but I was super hungry I still ate it. What astonishes me is that this place is fully staffed. I see a lot of people working in the back and they still can't seem to get food out in a timely manner. I did see some though that were just moving glacier-ly slow as heck. There was no pep in her step. Why can't any Whataburgers get employees like you get at Chick-fil-A or Canes? Sent to corporate. I had order number 131307342 at store #1088 in Terrell. Online order ahead - I had to wait 10 minutes past the time of arrival, when I finally started to walk in the lady comes out with my food, dumps it and goes back inside before I can say anything. I did not receive part of my order or sauces so I ended up having to go inside anyways. This has happened multiple times at multiple stores. The worst whataburger we have ever visit. Order was wrong on two items, went back to the window and was greeted by a kid who was literally high and smiling at their mistake... then the whole staff came to the wk Dow who look also high and laughing. THEN It took at least 20 min for another kid to come to the window and say that they were having issues because the registered were closed, they end up giving me a partial refund in cash from their pockets. I went here because I wanted to try the Dr. Pepper shake and it been awhile since I had Whataburger. I took a picture outside and a couple came up to me and said I was not from here and asked me where I was from. When I told them where I was from they responded by saying, "I do not understand why Californians rave about In-n-Out, when Whataburger is way better." I did not say anything after that and I ordered the Dr. Pepper shake, bacon, guacamole burger and fries. The burger was pretty soggy feeling and looked very flat. The taste was okay, it reminded me of eating at burger king. The place is nice looking inside and loved the decorations as well. Unfortunately, the place is very dirty as there was trash and food all over the place. The cashier finally did something about it and started to clean the place up. I enjoyed the Dr. Pepper shake for sure, but 32 ounces was quite a bit, but definitely ranked this on the bottom of the burger chains I been too. Waited in the lobby for 20 minutes to get my food, had to follow up on my order to even get my food. Then when they brought the food to my table all the fries get dumped in my lap. So I asked for a refund and was done. As I'm leaving the manger starts bad mouthing me to other employees loud enough I can hear him. When I confront him he just hides in his office. I don't live in Texas, but I've been to this location plenty of times. After reading the reviews here, I am shocked! I've never had an issue with this location. The line is usually long, but it seems to go pretty quick. My food always tastes great, and I've always gotten my beloved jalapeño ranch. This is usually the location I visit after I fly in from out of state, or after we've gone to Dallas for a concert, or doctor visit. The employees aren't the happiest, but I've yet to see an overly happy employee at any Whataburger. Compared to Tyler's location, this is heaven. Absolutely no complaints from me! read more

Spent about 20 minutes in drive-thru just to get the wrong order. Had a bacon and cheese burger with grilled onions and another spicy buffalo chicken sandwich. Got a burger with NO GRILLED ONIONS and BBQ CHICKEN SANDWICH and wasn't even warm. You would think that because of the wait time it would be at least hot but NOPE. Went inside to get our order fix and the second time the spicy buffalo was correct but the bacon and cheese one had NO MEAT. Had to go back again to get it fixed, it was still missing the Monterrey jack like I had ordered, but I just decided to leave it alone because I was over the whole situation. Ordered this morning 2 burger meals. My # 66 others came in and ordered. A staff person walks past me with 2 burger meals to give to the people that ordered after me. When she walked past I said well I'm 66. She laughed and told me they don't go in order. Now I am furious. Have they forgotten about my order? Driving through from a long trip from Orlando stopped to get lunch from the ap for curbside pickup! We got our food headed back on the road! The order was totally wrong! Ordered #1 with mustard all the vegetables got #1 plain dry, also ordered a Jr burger with Mayo no pickles got jr burger with mustard all the way with pickles! On a Road trip I stopped at this location was skeptical about it when I saw the reviews. However, I was surprised and only spent five minutes at most to get my food. Don't come here if you value your time!!! I completely understand that the fast food industry is tough and hard but there is absolutely no excuse for how slow and horrible their service is. We waited 30 mins in line for 1 small meal!!! Looking through the window they were just sitting around and talking to each other. I will never come here again! It's called "Fast Food" for a reason. It also looks like this issue has been going on for a few months now so I am assuming management could care less. We stopped for lunch, as Whataburger is normally delicious. The drinks and burgers were fine. However, the onion rings were bitter, having been fried in old grease. When we complained, the girl taking orders said she'd already informed the manager of this problem. COME ON!! Grease is cheap. Change it already!!!!! The entire order went in the trash. read more

Me and my family were heading home from Dallas and thought to stop a whataburger we went through the drive through and liked the food but it took almost an 40 minutes. We weren't in a rush but it's 11:30pm and we were hungry and didn't expect that it would take that long. If your wanting a quick little meal while going home and are going to go through the drive through , you'll save 20 minutes go to buc-ees instead. read more

All I can say is don't ever eat here, waited for 30 minutes in the drive though, they had all kinds of people working, so not understaffed, they were just not paying attention, had to tell them to turn on the menu light, it's dark outside and you could not see the menu, food was all wrong, got down the road and realized they had given us the wrong order, it was awful, and we were not happy, 20$ down the toilet, whoever is the manager of this location, you are not very good at your job, employees wearing ear buds, don't know what orders they are handing out, not paying attention to the orders, slow and disorganized, not to mention food had sat so long, while waiting, it was cold.
