I came here after not receiving any service at the Schlotzsky's next door, expecting great service since most Whataburger locations have it together. I walked in and waited at the counter for five minutes, the workers saw me standing there but did not come out from the kitchen or even say "Be right with you!" When we finally had our order taken, the worker did not greet us, and had little knowledge of food items. I then got myself a sweet tea, which was watery and old. Like sugar water. I sat down and waited 16 minutes for a chicken strip meal, which was cold. And throughout all of this, I could hear and see the workers in the kitchen yelling, cursing, throwing things, and hitting each other. read more

First a qualifier, the food was fine, it is the typical great burger etc. However, the service was subpar. The place was fuller than I have ever seen it. The line to order was literally out the door. They have 3 registers to accommodate a large crowd. How many do they have open? You got it, one. And the person that was at that register was in her own world. No one seemed at all concerned about having all those people standing in line forever (it was 10 minutes for us). People were getting out of line to grab a table (they were becoming scarce) while someone else ordered. The line was slow enough that the person behind us would not have finished ordering before we would have finished our meal, it was that slow. We finally got to the counter and I mentioned to her about the empty registers and people out the door, just an apologetic smile is all I got. The finally opened a second register once the line got shorter. It's a shame that they did not recognize the need for more help up front wihtout a customer pointing it out. read more

Do you like raw chicken and stale fries? Then this whataburger is for you!!!! Seriously though it's a shame. I love whataburger and was thrilled when we got a local one. However typically I'm served soggy stale fries. The second to last time we visited I even asked the guy that brought the food if I could have fresher fries and he just outright told me "No". The last time we went, and it will be the LAST TIME I EVER EAT HERE. My son was given an undercooked piece of chicken in his sandwich, to the point that it was raw and slimy. I spoke to the manager, he offered a refund and was apologetic. He then took my information claiming someone from corporate would call to see if my son or I got food poisoning (I had a bite of the sandwich, that's when I discovered it was raw). No one called. I have eaten at probably 50 to 60 different Whataburgers in different cities and this one is by far the worst. There "getting it right" is about 30%. In one week order the #2 meal no fries, tonight Feb 1 # 1 meal no cheese (#1 with cheese no tomatoes) guess what no cheese. Last week wife order #1 w/cheese only mayo ketchup onions--completely the opposite everything else but what was ordered. Ted is very rude. Came thru here at 6:14:33 on 2/14/2017. As we sit in the second lane and wait for our order 519754 we noticed about 5 vehicles in lane 1 hit the wind and leave and after the 8th vehicle i decided to go in as myw friend and i grew tired of waiting. I go in to be only greeted with hostility. The manager on dute is a man by the name of Ted is very rude and unorganized. I was simply curious as to the length of time on my order. Arrived at 2:00 pm, not busy. Ordered dine in and went to get drinks. Absolutely no sweet tea in either of two containers and fountain drink mat was so sticky our feet kept sticking to the floor once we moved away. Asked for manager on duty, Alexia Ureste, and told her we needed sweet tea and that the floor mat needed cleaning. No apology whatsoever, no "I'll get both taken care of" just turned around and headed back into kitchen. After our food arrived and no tea, I went up to ask for a refund. Manager Ureste came out and refunded our money and I told her I was pretty sure Whatabuger trained managers to apologize to customers regardless of the problem. She informed me that she did not apologize because she felt I had been rude to her. I guess calling substandard conditions to the manager's attention constitutes rudeness on the part of the customer. Ms. Ureste is definitely not up to Whataburger standards for even entry level management. read more
