Why is it that this whataburger always has cold burgers and fries, and why do people have to wait so long in line, also why do they continue to leave something off the order, i.e. fries, drink.... I've been in shawnee about a year, and on every occasion I've received a cold burger something is always missing no fries once, no ketchup, no napkins, no drink, every single time. I'm not one to write reviews, but I was just so happy with their service. My husband and I have been traveling across the country and this was the last opportunity to get Whataburger. (I was born and raised in Texas and haven't lived there for 10 years and Whataburger is my jam ). So we're on the road I decided to order through the app since we're hauling a camper and can't make it through the drive through... (Plus the whole Covid shut downs for inside dining) and we end up hitting an area on I40 that was shut down and it added time to our travel. I called Whataburger and let them know I was running 20 minutes. You know what they said?!! He said, " Thank you for letting us know. We will remake your order in 20 minutes." So during all of this coronavirus pandemic this particular establishment in Shawnee Oklahoma is having workers stand before you can get to the DRIVE THROUGH menu and is HANDING everyone the SAME plastic menu for them to look at instead of looking at the big one. I visited the drive-thru on 6.1.2021 at 1:50 p.m. It took ten minutes before I got to place my order for two hamburgers-nothing special. It took another twenty minutes before I got my food. I got no apologies or explanation for the delay. I had thought the gentleman in front of me had a large order because he waited at the window for so long, but when he finally got his food, they only handed him one little bag. The poor guy kept staring inside the whole time, probably wondering where all the associates were. I think at one point, he even called out to them. I've been frequenting this place for awhile now and I had to write a review, more like a warning. A warning to stay as far away from this place as possible. Staff is always rude and rolling their eyes. I've waited at least 40 min in drive thru and have had to go back because my order was wrong. Do not go to this one. I know during evening and late hours they always seem to be busy. But this particular one is always slower then any other one. They've messed my order up every time I've gone(3 times) and I did curbside this time and I was waiting for over 30 minutes after the 5-10 minutes I gave them to prepare it according to the app. I finally went in, which I was trying to avoid. And I told them I just want my money back. The manager said he could make it in 3-4 min. I said I've waited long enough. Then he said he wasn't going to make excuses and it was they're mess up. Then he checked and it had been sitting there for idk how long. I said why didn't anyone bring it out. He said it's our fault. But he couldn't give me my money back that I would have to do it in the app. I left a message and they were supposed to call me back last night. All this happens about 9:30pm. Y'know, last time I went here I had the hiccups. I was watching the Rio olympics and I had had those pesky hiccups for about 4 hours. I was pretty sure I was going to die. It all changed when I went to this whataburger. Some nice middle aged lady heard me drowning in stomach air bubbles and told me to eat a packet of sugar. Did that, and survived. Will be coming back to get a burger and sugar packet next time my body jolts uncontrollably from diaphragm spasms. read more

This place ought to be called "Whatajoke". We stopped here on our way home during the holidays, just passing through. We ordered simple food, burger, fries and a coke to go. Had to wait about 10 minutes for our order. We left the building before digging into our bag only to discover that our fries were cold and tasted like cardboard. No where near fresh. And our burgers were cold also. If they're just going to serve cold food, why make the customer wait 10 minutes to receive it? I would have returned the food only I was too mad to do so and it caused a ruckus between me and the boyfriend. Never going back here no matter how hungry I might be! read more

I always stop at this location on my way to western Oklahoma to visit family. Normally the experience is good, but on this occasion it was below average. I did share with the counter person my disappointment and experience. The French fries had been made for awhile and the burger was lukewarm. The drive thru takes a good 10-20 min to get your food. Seems like every time get to the window there is two people just sitting there talking when they good be taking our money and giving us our drinks. When they finally do start to give you your drinks one of the workers had to ask the other which drinks are theirs!‍. Only good thing is the food is good. read more
