Ordered on the app for food to be ready at 8:20. Arrived late at 8:35. Told the girl at the counter my name and I was picking up an order from the app. She walks away, starts putting fries in the fryer and doing a bunch of other stuff. I finally flag someone else down and ask where my order is since it's 20 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready. He says he doesn't know since he works the drive through. The girl finally looks for my order and gives it to me. It had been ready the whole time I was there. Then I have to wait for the drinks. She said she didn't know it was ready?? I would expect that would be the first thing she would have checked after I told her my name and I was picking up! Will drive out of my way to avoid this location. read more

Service is terrible in the drive through lanes. This Whataburger has two lanes, only utilizes one lane but won't close off the second. I just waited 10 minutes in the opened outer lane to get my order taken when nobody ever spoke to me over the mic. 3 cars went to the left order lane and got there orders taken so I backed up and went into the left lane. I asked if the outer mic was broken they said no. There was no indication of the lane being closed it's just pure laziness. Either it's open and they don't want to take orders in it or it's closed and they won't close off the lane on the outside. Every single time I come here the outside lane is closed. What's the point of having it? I saw cars picking up food in the right lane at the end so I assumed the lane was open but no they just have just drove into that lane. There are also times when they will have both lanes open to order and will send both cars into the left lane for pick up causing people yo merge in an unsafe way because they are too lazy to come out to deliver orders & make payments in the right lane. No one called our name, we weren't given a number, so I had to ask if that was my food. This is the worst location I have been to in Texas. I regret going there. I'm visiting and my friends told me to order ahead because they are so slow. So I do. 45 min I go to pick it up. I walk in and there's not a single customer inside. There are maybe 5 cars in the drive thru. I go to the counter. No one is there. Someone eventually comes to help me. She asks my name and grabs a bag. Looks in it. It's missing fries. So she makes fries. They let the fries go empty. Get my food and leave. I sit down and it's the wrong sandwich. I ask my friends how often that happens? They said 90% of the time. It was easy to place my order. I wanted a single biscuit sandwich. I was not pressured to ordered to order a full breakfast combo. Whataburger makes your food fresh, so I anticipated a bit of a wait, but it was a bit longer than I expected. The employee at the window even wondered what was taking so long. The only good thing about the wait is that the items on my sandwich were truly fresh and hot. That said, my biscuit wasn't very soft, which was very disappointing.  I realize they have to bake many in advance, but they should be able to keep them moist. read more

I love Whataburger for the grilled chicken sandwhich. If you are watching calories, you can customize it by skipping the Whatasauce and getting mustard or ketchup or both instead and save 80 to 100 calories. You can further cut calories by swapping the brioche bun for a plain white bun. So with the plain white bun and mustards instead of Whatasauce, it is just 330 calories. As to the one in Round Rock...a bit disappointed. They have got my order wrong the last couple times I have been there. read more

By far, this is the longest wait at a Whataburger location we''ve ever had...over 30 mins. In a short drive-thru line. Now some orders are larger than others and similar restaurants ask those customers to pull to the side while smaller orders are fulfilled. That is what needs to happen here. Slowest establishment I've been to in a while. It's not just once or twice I've experienced this, it's every time. I get if they're short staffed but I have been stuck behind a car that was having a 15 min conversation with the lady at the window. Food was already in hand and drink. From what I could hear, they were friends that they hadn't seen in a while. Definitely not the time nor place to rehash this relationship. All this went on while there was a line backed up. I honestly don't know why I bother coming to this location. I would really rather drive all the way to a different location a few miles away to get my food... and I would probably get it faster too. It always takes more than 40 minutes to an hour to order and receive my food and then it's almost always WRONG. Lonnie: Wow .... his service was impeccable! Food was tasty location was great. Lonnie took the time to explain the entire menu to us and all the flavors that were concealed with it. Good Lord, the amount of time we sat in the drive-thru lane at this location was really insane. This location has two lanes, but it seemed like both were moving at half the rate you'd've expected a single lane to go. Yikes. It was backed up all the way round and even spilling into the main part of the parking lot. Also their lobby was closed, so I wasn't able to go in and relieve my bladder. The staff was friendly and probably doing the best they could, and our food/drinks were tasty when we did at long last receive them. I think I've eaten at this location about 75 times. Although I don't do fast food as much as I used to, I stopped by yesterday for lunch. It was meh!
