Whataburger is okay; it's definitely not my favorite. To be completely honest I think their chicken is way better than their burgers. The restaurant looked very clean though, and staff was super friendly, it's just not my choice for a fast food burger spot. I think they kind of remind me of Sonic burgers which I'm also not a fan of. But their chicken and onion rings are pretty great, so knowing that now if I ever have to eat there again that's what I'll be ordering. read more

I want to like this place. It's the only fast food place on my way to work. However, their breakfast biscuits have been so over the top salty I end up throwing them away. Every time I swing by, they take forever to serve my order, even when there's hardly anyone around or even when you're the only customer there. I am not sure I would ever come back here again. The counter service was most unfriendly and the food was not very good. I approached the counter to look at the menu. I told the woman that I had never eaten at this restaurant before and needed a minute to look at the menu on the wall above her head. Luckily there was no one behind me in line. She then started reading the menu to me to hurry me along. I never told her I couldn't read, I told her I had never eaten here before. I placed my order for a Jr. Burger then I asked if there was a hot sauce. She gave me a picture menu and told me all the sauces cost extra but there was no hot sauce that I saw. She handed me a table placard with a number on it to go take a seat. When the food was delivered, the person asked if we wanted ketchup or spicy ketchup. No charge for those and the spicy ketchup was the best part of the experience. Overall, the toppings were fresh and the restaurant was clean but I think there are plenty of other burger places on the same street that I would go to next time. read more

When we got a vanilla the waiter assured us that it was chocolate. We opened it. It was plain ice cream. We took it back and called the employee out on it. On my 2nd night in NWA; I retired early to my hotel room, but woke up about midnight wondering if I should eat again; after all I'm on vacation. I soon found a Whataburger about 3 miles away and open 24 hours. Excellent! Ever since Patrick Mahomes urged this chain to expand into Kansas City and they agreed, Whataburger has been the talk of the town back in KC, so I was eager to try them instead of waiting another year or so for them to open. I went through the drive thru and ordered a double bacon cheese Whataburger, fries, chocolate shake and a cinnamon roll. (Don't judge - I'm on vacation) and drove back to the room to eat my $15 midnight snack. The burger is way to big to eat in the vehicle and frankly it's just way to big period. This was one of the rare moments that I didn't finish a burger. Other than size, nothing stood out as exceptional. Certainly better than McDonalds, but I'll take Culvers or Freddy's any day. The fries tasted great in the spicy ketchup and the cinnamon roll did the trick for breakfast but the shake was very mediocre. First time eating at a WhataBurger. Someone told me this place was like In-n_Out in California. I assure you it is not! No similarity at all. But we were just down the street at Fast Lanes (which is amazing by the way) and wanted a quick meal. As you can see the employee dropped the entire tray on the floor and just left it there. The wife and I hit the drive thru for a quick lunch. The order was simple, a Whataburger with cheese, ketchup, and mustard on a small bun. We also ordered a Whataburger with ketchup, mayo, and pickles only with a large Dr Pepper shake. When the order finally made out to us the bag had three burgers and none of them were correct. We finally got someone's attention to send them back. We explained to TWO different people what we wanted. We were asked to pull forward which we did. After waiting and waiting the order was brought out. This time the wife's order was correct but mine was still incorrect. This time my sandwich was a Whataburger Jr instead of the full size Whataburger on a small bun. Sadly we didn't have time to send it back again but it only confirms my theory. I received a gift card for Whataburger. There are several locations, and I chose the Pleasant Crossing location in Rogers, Arkansas. I went through the drive through. The person on the intercom talked so fast and loud that I could not understand her the first time. I got my order. I like to eat the French fries while driving home. They were lukewarm and soggy. I was afraid what the burger might taste like. It was decent and warm. It tasted fine. However, I'm not sure that I will be going back anytime soon. At least not at that location. read more
