If I could put a negative star I would. I live near this Whataburger and needless to say have been by this location several times. The order is ALWAYS wrong...no ketchup, wrong breakfast sandwich or burger, and never gravy!! I really just want the damn gravy that I order every time. I am not sure they even make it at this location. I had Whataburger door dashed from this location today, and would you believe it they still forgot the gravy. I JUST CANT WITH THIS PLACE... read more

This store is horrible it took us 30 minutes just to get a burger while everyone is getting the food even when we ordered first and we asked an employee about the food and made a upset remark bec we had a question we just got our food and we strictly asked for no pickles and it came with pickles and pickles on the bun this store sucks read more

This is one of the worst Whataburgers I've been to. Wait times are too long, food is under seasoned, sweet tea is NOT sweet and my fries are almost always cold and bland. After this last time of waiting more than 15 min in a drive thru (after I had ordered) I decided to never return to this location again. The only good thing about this place is the employees are friendly. But friendly faces is not good enough for their lackluster food or services. They just opened another one in Richmond and hopefully they have better service and food. read more

I wish I knew her name but the manager working this morning really made my morning amazing! Super polite fast and friendly every time I visit, which is a bit more than I probably should. read more

I could write poetry about how much I hate this location. Just after 11pm and the drive thru is 10 cars deep! Usually use a diff location just because of this stores sad, sorry, predictable service. Would rate the recent food if I could actually get some. Figures it would be in the same lot as IHOP. They must use the same management team. Should take this sorry location, pack it up and send it to Chicago. Absolute crap. I wish Yelp had an uncensored version so I could tell you what I REALLY think of them! read more

Why is it so difficult to get an order correct? I try to check my order, but I order 5 items and get 3 paper sacks all in 1 big plastic sack so I have to take everything out and open every single package. Every time I assume that this one must be correct, I get home to yep - I shouldn't have assumed that the other burger would have been in that 1 sack in which I didn't look. And when called upon, I must return to the store just to receive the item that I paid for, but didn't receive - no other way for a credit. Complete & utter disappointment on multiple occasions. read more

So mad, was in line B at the drive through Waiting on my order when another car behind me got their food first assumed mine was taking longer was in no rush just felt bad for blocking in the truck behind me tell I received mine. Waited a good 5 mins when the boy runs out with another bag, they had given my food to the wrong person. I tell him it bothers me That someone else's hands were or went through my food if they were eating my fries etc just grossed me out. Rather then help he blank stared at me and assured me all was ok ummmm how do u know! So needless to say food is in trash and I'm mad! Just gross! read more

This Whataburger has gone downhill since the last change of management. I ordered the patty melt just to try it and it was nowhere near the appearance as advertised. The bread was soggy and much thinner than the photos and TV ads. The meat & cheese, also thinner, slipped around resulting in a messy experience. Sad to see the decline of what had been a dependable venue. The fries were tasty as usual. read more

The absolute worst Whataburger on the planet! We've called the helpline several times I don't think anyone cares. Just tonight I tried to call the store to speak to the manager when I ask for the manager spelling of his name he hung up on me. Totally unprofessional the staff cannot even organize a two car funeral. Needless to say the order was wrong and when we asked to re-redo it we got attitudes, rolling eyes and deep breaths. These employees want $15 an hour they don't deserve $3 pathetic! read more

I'm a fat Texan no doubt about that and I love my what a burger, but man was this location a disappointment. From getting into the parking lot to leaving took about 30 mins, and that wouldn't be so bad if it all wasn't messed up. The best way to eat their chicken strips and fries is with the gravy, and the only way to eat their toast is the gravy. So my disappointment when I got my food home and there was no gravy, all the fries on the order were the wrong size and the burger was missing the add ons. read more

One of the worse!! Don't bother going through the drive unless you have 45 minutes to waste. I always have hope it will get better but it never does. read more

This place will have you in the drive thru for 20+minutes. Your best bet is to choose another restaurant if you want quick service. read more

Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, Texas

Tonight, Sunday, 6:30pm, I ordered 2 double-meat Whataburgers, one w/ cheese, plus a sm fries & a med (bc they don't have small) onion rings as a to-go order. This was just under $15. Eaten at home, 7 min later, the burger buns were as flattened & tasteless as any cardboard would have been. At Whataburger, the buns are not toasted. The skimpy lettuce was completely wilted. The pungent oil on the over-browned onion rings & the fries was stale, old & left a bad aftertaste. So, in effect, 98% of our $15 meal was painfully unpleasant. We have frequented Whataburger often since they first opened a few years ago which used to always be a delight. But we've increasingly had less & less satisfaction with the quality of food. As the last straw on the camel's back, we have now vowed never to return to Whataburger after tonight's new low. Whataburger's service, however, still remained above reproach, the young people treating customers well. Our house being nearby, however, we feel Whataburger's quality slide will eventually lower all community property values. Afterall, decent FOOD is what it's about! read more

Those Nights, you know the ones, maybe you're sobering up, maybe it's 3 am you need whataburger NOW. We all have our reasons, but one thing is true everyone loves whataburger, and you don't whataburger loves you! This location is awesome they've never gotten my order wrong, they've never been rude to me. And, as far as fast food goes the food is actually pretty good. Sometimes the lines get long and can be overwhelming but they have been known to open up the second drive through to speed things up. The use a different type of ice in their drinks than other locations use and it's much nicer to eat (Yes my weird-ass eats ice) Typically me and my friends will make our nightly burger runs around midnight right after the 11pm crowd starts to die out, and we've always had a great experience. Last time I was here they gave me extra fries, because the dude liked the song that I was playing in my car. Journey FTW! Everyone knows whats on the menu here so I won't bother you with it, but it does seem like this location is a lot cleaner and better tasting than others. read more

This location is clean, the employees are friendly and service is pretty fast. The burgers tasted just like all the other Whataburgers, very tasty. Whataburger is dependable if a quick meal is needed. read more

The worst location I have ever been to. You have to wait forever for your food, just for your food to be cold or incorrect. May have to start driving to another location. read more

The girl at the drive through window slammed the window on me after they over charged me for my food (their error, not mine). I asked them to just cancel the whole order because she didn't seem to care much about the situation. I guess this is how Whataburger roles. I've had issues with this place for some time...but they were never big enough for me to care or say anything. But this was just demeaning and I haven't nor will I come back to this particular Whataburger. read more

I wanted to commend this location for keeping up the constancy. This location is Always clean, the staff is always polite & accommodating. There has been a few times the food wasn't satisfying (too greasy) but other then that A+ They also have given me free shakes/pies/meals for taking a bit longer then they are suppose to. I never notice, they just offer. Keep up the good work! read more

Have to say I've been to a lot of Whataburger restaurants in my life but by far this one is the best. Florentine and his crew make me feel like I'm home when I walk through the door. I'm always greeted promptly when I come in. Everyone remembers who I am and it's a good feeling to be a customer and not just a number. Whenever I place my online order and pick it up they are always quick and the quality is great. I never get cold food or anything missed in my bag. To top it off Florentine or one of his managers always checks my bag to make sure the order is correct before walking out. Overall this is my favorite location in the city and I will always be returning here hungry for more. Keep up the amazing work! read more

This place will always leave you waiting 30 plus minutes. Absolutely terrible. Drive thru or in store doesn't matter you better be prepared to sit and wait! read more

What can I say? It's Whataburger! This location is fairly new and very clean. I've never had a problem here. Staff is friendly and food order is always correct. If anything, they are a little slow, but I would sacrifice a extra minute or two since it's all cooked to order and they make sure your to go bag has everything. read more

We always stop here on our way to Brazos Bend for breakfast. Always clean and you even get a sort of table service if you are there for breakfast. Order, get your number, grab a seat and they pretty much do the rest. They even have someone who patrols the seating area to refill your coffee or anything else you feel you may need. Their biscuits and coffee are probably more fresh than most restaurants known for breakfast (Denny's, IHOP, etc.). Staff is always friendly. read more

We decided to eat at Whataburger today. The employee was friendly that took our order and we went and sat down. They were out of Coke Zero however I told the employee that it was out and he quickly went to replace and let me know when it was ready which was good. Then our food cane and I must say, these were the most smashed burgers I have ever seen or received. It literally looked like they made the burger then persists to hammer them with their fists. I've had much better burgers at other Whataburgers and even this Whataburger in the past. Also while my son and I are our food, the manager was going around table to table making sure everyone was good however she seemed to go around us a few times never to ask us, seemed odd. So next time I want a Whataburger I will likely seek another location where burgers are better, and if I wanted a Smashburger, I believe there is a place for that called Smashburger, for true! read more

Zero star Got at the drive thru at 2:36pm received the order at 3:07 pm with everything super cold, even couple of things were missing in the order have to go back and return my order even the manager JACK seems irresponsible for that. The customer ahead of us didn't even cared to pik order and left without the order. Pathetic service at this location. read more

Came after work at 3:25pm and I know my order was complicated and Miss Bertha was so patient and nice to me! Very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions! Even when I approached the window she was so sweet! At the second window miss Adeola was even sweeter! They both had the biggest smiles! Honestly seeing them made my day 100% brighter. Oh yeah and as usual at this location my food is always the BOMB! I ordered a double cheese burger on Texas toast with onion rings and a chocolate shake, you can't ever go wrong with a burger there! Will be returning shortly! read more

This place is so bad. I called in advance and asked if I could pick up. He said use the online ordering platform. Once I did I went to pick it up and I got five different answers on where to be to pick it up. In the end I waited longer than if I would have had to if I went through the original line. Worst service. Literally never coming back it's like 1 in the morning read more

Had to wait about 20 minutes for something in the drive through, shame. Was not that busy either

oh my fucking god we waited for 30 god damn minutes! im fucking pissed off! im warning you do not go!!

Worst Whataburger experience ever! We got our order in the drive thru. They gave the order first to the person who was 4 cars behind me. They took more than 30 min just for a SINGLE burger!! They are so unorganized, slow and do need a better management. Please Whataburger do something because your food chain is amazing. read more

In the last 3 months, I have yet to go here and have them get my order correct the 1st time. It usually takes 3 times and a trip inside. I waited 20 minutes for a biscuit before Christmas. Are they chasing chickens around the kitchen, plucking them, and then frying them up? Good grief. read more

I really like this particular location. They always try to notice you and get someone to help you quickly. Always clean. Sidewalks constantly washed and windows sparkling. Never hardly ever see unbussed tables. Management seems to honestly care about their customers. Employee Jimmy very helpful in explaining the benefits if I got their app which I did. Like the breakfast Taquitos plus a cinnamon roll. Good coffee also. Free refills with vanilla creamer which McDonalds does not have. read more

Love whataburger but this location in particular is not very well maintained. Cleanliness is not a priority as the soda fountain counter is dirty and the floors are slippery from not being mopped as weather conditions would deem necessary read more

Almost 1 hour take my order Thursday night they should have more staff Really disappointed! It was 12:32 am by the way .

BAD MANAGEMENT - Avoid if you can. Just spent $90 bucks in hamburgers. Checked the contents and there was one burger and a set of chicken strips missing. The manager made us get ALL our order out to check if we were right! We were. Very disappointing. Should have asked them for a full refund and gone somewhere else. Won't be coming back here any time soon. read more

I've been going to this location for years and it never disappoints. I've never had to get an order corrected and there have been periods where I've been going here 1-2 times per week. They also have really great chewable ice for those who are addicted to chewing ;-). I go here now instead of sonic to get my large cups of ice. read more

Always our go to. If they have ever messed anything up, they go above and beyond to fix it. Great customer service and all you crave from what a burger since we moved here 3 years ago. read more

Really bad food. Charged me for two orders. Canceled one I think. They messed up on the order and gave us the wrong one and I got the smaller burger. Mom and I both got sick from food felt off afterwards. And was cranky. Fries were cold. So far fastfood out here highly disappointed. But that's I'm realzing now from fastfood its just crap! I clocked out for my lunch at 4 pm, my job is 2 minutes away. It is currently 450 pm and I'm still in this Whataburger drive thru line, now I order my food and they are out of strawberry Fanta. It's been a looooooong time since I've dined inside a Whataburger and it wasn't 2AM-4AM. I was really impressed by the friendly service during early dinner busy time. They brought me ketchup, checked to see how we were doing halfway through our meal, and rushed to open the door when we left. Twice I commented that it's the best service at any Whataburger I've been to yet. read more
