Time after time, worst customer service. Ever. This time, we placed an order online to be picked up between 8:45-8-:50am. At 8:58 we walked in to find several workers just standing there. This place brings disgrace to the whataburger name. It's the closest one to me and I will always drive past it to go to the one of the decent ones that's further away. First time visiting this Whataburger location. Suuuuuuuuper slow service. Main drive thru lane was getting their orders before lane b. I guess cause their not being timed in lane b. We order burgers, you're telling me a burger place takes 50+ minutes to prepare a burger!!?? On top of that, they gave our order to the person in front. Slowest service ever for fast food. Took 30 minutes to get order. Burgers were cold and wrong. How hard is it to pay attention to details! Young lady that handed us our drinks couldn't tell us what was coke and what was Diet Coke and she made them. This Whataburger has never provided semi-fast service, but today was unusually slow. Went inside to order 2 taquitos togo (that was all). After waiting 15 minutes, I ended requesting a refund. I asked how much longer and how many were ahead of my order, and they basically said a lot. I am not sure if they are short staff or poorly staffed, but that was ridiculous. Drove to the McDonalds next door. Ordered food, added 2 drinks at the checkout window (one was a mixed coffee drink), and I was still on the road in about 2 minutes. read more

Quite possibly the worst whataburger to go to. All of the workers are teenagers who are high 24/7 and they have no sense of respect. If you see 2 cars in front of you expect a 20 minute wait. The food is poorly done and the workers just give the place a worse experience. read more

I'm giving this Whataburger 1 star. This has to be THE worst Whataburger in Texas. There is always a problem with our food. It never fails. It's consistent. Either they get the order wrong or the food is lukewarm... at best. There's nothing worse than going through the drive thru, getting home and finding out that your order is wrong or your food is warm (and we are 1 mile away). When there's an issue with my order (at LEAST 50% percent of the time) I kindly make the manager on-duty aware of the problem. Management is always courteous and concerned, but the problems persist. Don't get me wrong, I love Whataburger and the whole Texas thing, but not the Haslet Whataburger. Sad to say, but I'll inconvenience myself and drive into Saginaw to spend my hard earned money. As long as I can help it, tonight will be the last time I visit this Whataburger. Damn shame. read more

I've given this place five or six "2nd" chances recently, but this is without a doubt, the worst Whataburger drive through I've experienced... and, I've been to a lot of other Whataburger restaurants throughout N & S Texas, as well as New Mexico and Arizona! This drive through is extremely slow! I mean like 20 minutes plus slow! Even with only a few cars in line. A few of the employees are nice enough, most seem annoyed by the customer, but they never get the order right! I've become "that guy" who gets his order (eventually) and then sits there for another minute looking through the bag to see if everything's there. Of course, I can't tell that the custom order on ingredients is wrong till I get it home and unwrap our cold burgers. Today, I neglected to double check and when I got home, there was only one of three fry orders in the bag! So, I went back. Sat in the drive through for another 25 minutes to get the correct order. Once home (just a few minutes away) the burgers were cold and the "large" fries were only half filled. Oh, and they were cold too. I'm done with this Whataburger! The place was ok when it first opened, but it has deteriorated to the worst in TX, NM & AZ. Bye. read more

I keep going back and giving my local whataburger a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chance, but I am done now. They got nothing right - simple order of a Whataburger with cheese no pickle, no tomato, and easy mayo and large fries and sweet tea.........What I go was a whatburger made with bread instead of a bun - had the tomato on it - and everything was soaked in mayo. Oh and the tea was unsweetened. I am done with this one. I guess they figure since most of their business is highway 287 traffic instead of locals - people won't come back to complain - they don't have to do better. I gave them 4 chances......no more. The bad part is that this Whataburger was on its game for the first year it opened.......something changed - management, owner, not sure what, but it is godawful now. read more

It has been quite awhile since I had eaten at whataburger that on my way home I stopped at this one, went thru drive thru. Got my usual whataburger meal with cheese. Get my food, back on the road. Started to eat and I was absolutely discussed with my meal. First off, my fries were not hot, not even warm. My burger had no cheese on it, on itty bitty tomato very vey little lettuce and onion. Basically I had meat and bun. What's with the skimping on the fixings??? Is this how y'all do post covid now? And the price I paid, wholly cow, $9 for nothing. Pull up to the order menu they ask what would you like.... I say let me get a number 2 with cheese large with an unsweetened tea... easy enough right. The person says in response would you like everything on it? I said yes. Then do you want the combo? Yes... large? Opening about November 15, 2015. I quit going to Whataburger many, many years ago. About a year ago I 'rediscovered' them and it's not a favorite of the fast food type. For me the best is breakfast!!! Love the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with some 'EZ mustard' on it as they call it. Oh damn, YUM!! Being older, I qualify for senior pricing. But, alas they don't give senior pricing. HOWEVER, the good news is......... they will give you a 'senor drink.' It's admittedly small but it is FREE!!! Good with any meal!! Ask for it if you haven't (well if you are old enough!) The coffee is good and the Simply Orange OJ is awesome!!! Lunch or dinner fave for me is the big and juicy WHATABURGER® PATTY MELT. read more

At this location the food is always good but i'm not sure why they are so consistently slow? After I ordered it took 24 minutes for them to deliver my food in the drive-through. It wasn't a special order. Just a simple number 14. No apology was given for the wait. I can only speculate because it's not unusual to have to wait so long at this location? I wish we could give ratings for quality of food and a different rating for the service. The only thing I am complaining about is how slow this location operates. After waiting 24 minutes in the drive-through I feel the customer should receive an apology with an explanation. read more

Worst fast food experience ever for me. Waited 30 mins for 2 plain kids meals, #5 & #6. Got refills twice while we waited & 7yr old went to bathroom. Was told our order was given to someone else and only a couple mins more to remake. Then was 10 min later. 3 of the 4 items were wrong...yes even the two kids meals. Taught our kids about patience, love, and that yelling at people doesn't solve or help. Hopefully this review reaches others so they drive a little farther for a better Whataburger. I rarely have a bad experience with Whataburger but today the stars must have been aligned and the Whataburger team today was absolutely off their game. After sitting around for our to-go order, three sets of people who ordered after us, got their food, I asked the gal at the counter and she went to go find our food. It was sitting by the drive thru window...who knows for how long without being given to us. We get home and mistakes all around...disappointing. Four meals ordered and only one was correct. Son, ordered no tomato or onion, got tomatoes. Wife, ordered no onions, got onions. I ordered add bacon, and grilled jalapeños, got ZERO bacon and pickled jalapeños. The lettuce on all the burgers were welted/old/soggy. My bun and son's bun was soggy on the ends. A real disappointment at this location, may not go back there. read more

Prices outrageously raised! The current Covid should not be an excuse to raise the prices. I was charged $19 for only two burgers (meals) almost $10 for one burger individually, that is in no way reasonable. This price just recently changed as Prices last month were not the same. The new Barbecue Bacon Burger is soooo good. Despite it being new, the kitchen made it perfectly and totally worth the wait. My fries were also perfectly crisp and hot. The only problem was that I asked for Diet Coke, but only got Coke Zero. Small detail, would come back again. read more
