I'm writing this long since I visited but I will never forget the date - it was August 8th, 2025, the 75th anniversary of Whataburger. A national holiday indeed. On this special day, Whataburger was offering a special $0.75 whataburger. I couldn't pass up the occasion. I drove to the location around 5 PM. It was packed throughout the time I was there. Of course, I got the whataburger. I also went ahead and got the Bacon Wrangler burger as well as fries., the LTO at the time. As usual, the whataburger was great. Nice and hearty, big fan of the mustard that cuts through everything. The Bacon Wrangler is definitely food coma worthy - I mean, what else can you expect when you have two patties, bacon, and two cheeses? Delicious! My only 'conplaint' was that there wasn't any ketchup in my bag despite requesting it. No problem, they were especially slammed that day as expected. I went back inside after checking in my car and they happily provided multiple ketchups. Looking forward to another 75 years for Whatburger. Greeted at the door and counter. There was an employee scrubbing floors and all the other employees looked little busy Bee's. This location is clean and fast! I ordered a #2 burger with cheese only with a medium drink. My burger was hot, the toppings nice and cold. Great experience and full tummy! The only fail was the men's restroom. I hardly ever go to Whataburger because you know you're gonna be waiting forever for your food, especially if you go inside. However, my kiddo had a coupon and we decided to stop by this location on our way downtown. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us and took our order right away and when my order wasn't right on my receipt, they didn't hesitate to fix my order. Despite the error, my food was still out pretty quickly compared to my experience at other locations. My kiddo kept saying how good his food was and that I should write a Yelp Review. I am a patient person especially during the pandemic but extremely rude service is not acceptable. I went to buy my 90 year old Aunt a burger because she likes Whataburger. The DT line was extremely long so I went inside. The manager was horrifically rude. Is it because she has been getting away with treating her customers that way? When I told her I was next, she told me "it don't matter because you cannot make my day harder". I know labor is hard to get but WOW!!!!! The egg was fresh but the sausage tasted like it was day old. It ruined the sandwich. 3/5 - Whataburger: lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, pickles and white onions on a bun. This reminded me of a Whopper. Nothing special. 3.5/5 - Honey Mustard Whatachick'n Club: Fried, breaded chicken breast with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and honey mustard sauce. This burger was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 5/5 - Fries: The fries were fresh and perfectly fried. The spicy ketchup was amazing. 5/5 Service: The young lady who took our order was friendly. 4/5 Final Thoughts: I was told that Whataburger is the In-N-Out of Texas. Nobody wearing masks! I was asked to pull around and wait. An employee, Mary, brought out my order not wearing a mask. She proceeded to apologize for the wait saying they were short staffed. Yah I don't do reviews normally. Whataburger is great. This location sucks though. I don't know if it's really the staff's fault or the franchise owners fault, but what I do know is they lose track of every single order I make online and they close the drive thru at certain times. First off, YELP! should remove old reviews about this Whataburger's. I have visited this Whataburger many times and even if they got something wrong, the managers and staff quickly corrected the issues or refunded my money. I only come here bc it's close to my house , but they literally suck I ordered chicken strips with gravy and ranch when I left with food and got home there was two strips no ranch , no toast , and the gravy had barely any and it was watery . They don't quite understand the concept of PLAIN DRY burgers for kids. They put mayo, onions and pickles. Now the kids won't eat so much for wasting my money on burgers when no one will eat them... Physically check your order before leaving. After promising myself to never again get anything fried at this Whataburger, I did any way & once again, I'm not going to do it again. What is so difficult about changing the frying oil? The onion rings were made from perfectly good onions, perfectly cut, perfectly dredged and cooked but, they had a bitter aftertaste. The aftertaste was caused by old oil--yuck! They took my money. The French fries I got months ago were so bad I didn't even try them after I got them home; they were so limp that it was frightening. Not to mention I've been here 3 times in the past month and each time my order was comically messed up like me putting NO ICE in my drink and them giving me a cup filled with just ice? And it was missing a BURGER! And the burger they did put in was prepped so bad I wish I took a picture of it and showed it to the cook who clearly just wants their money and leave.
