As you walk in to the mysterious smell of the fast kitchen it is quickly replaced by the smell yodor of the dacaying carcass of road side dead raccoon you take 5 steps to the attandant and above it see the variety of choises. The question asked is why? Why am I here? Where as I can be in McDonalds? As you face the attendant it asks "what will you have today?" I stood in confusion and took my time as I looked and saw in it the painful agony of working at such low rate job. I responded with hesitance "Onion rings and a medium soda." She inputs the order and hands me a triangular prism of sorts containing the number "37". I turned to my left as some tables were taken, the best one that my lad picked was in the back to the left it the most well suited for our dinning experience. We walk through the presently empty diner to only arrive at our table only to find soda stains and other unknown fluids. The worker who is now currently cleaning the tables is called to our precense to clean up the mess that the other filthy human waste who does not know how to stay unfilthy has made. She walks over to our table and ignores the request to clean. As we inform that I, in fact was a yelp reviewer and that she should treat me with a sort of respect, but she in fact brushes away the fact that I could pose a threat to her and the restaurant. We wait approximately 7 Minutes for our quote, unquote "fast food" as my plate which is a simple plate of an equivalent of an order of frenched fries take seven minutes to fry and serve. As the server slowly walks over and another server as well. I recognize the second servers face, it is the previous server that refused to clean the soda stain. The first server finally gets to our back table and continues to knock over my prism, a deadly mistake. The second server sees this and ignores it add if nothing had happened. The first server sends my plate, the simple onion ring, to my acquaintance I get frustrated and reach for my packet of rings. The server sees the mistake he makes and responds with a simple "oh". The second server with the sauces offers the ketchup, probably the only thing that went right in that transaction. They walk off to where once they came and we continued to dine on what was brought and what a spectacle that is to had. The rings that I had ordered previously had a foreign taste, it was the type of taste that you have when you do not like something. This taste I've experienced before but could not quite capture what it was. Then it hit me the taste, the souless, bland, deep fried taste. It tastes of grease, and fats. I had an understanding that onion rings often taste specific specially when fried but this set had a stronger impact on my taste pallet. I proceed to take another ring and start to chew. It hit me again. That same taste of grease struck me. I manage to forcefully eat all the rings and set my relief aside. I brainstorm on how my yelp review should start and begin to type right then and there. As my lads and me talk a bundle of freshmen are seen trough the window and start acting inappropriately or as one would say "as freshmen". After we eat my gents and I sit to talk and pass the time as it always goes. Probably the most soothing part of that experience in that What a Burger. The minutes fly by and our little clique decides to leave and head home. Add we walk out the main doors one might use to walk in a cashier softly says "thank you" I am only away aware of this because my mate is the only one that heard the message and informed me. We take our leave and get in my friends car to drive away back into the night of ghosts and ghouls. Two stars. read more
