My order was a little too spicy for my taste - I got the second hottest. So I give it 3 stars. I'm sure I'll try it again another day. For me, it wasn't anything special. But of course, I'm not a hot chicken lover except for wings. read more

I was super excited to finally try this place. We live a hour away but it was totally worth it. Way better than Popeyes or Chik Fil A. I got the 2 slider combo with the HOT spice level. I love spicy and it was hot! Glad I didn't try extra hot. Whew! Loved their Dave's sauce too. I like all the decor! It was really nice! Kevin was super friendly and gave great service. Come to Las Cruces!!! read more

The place has a very good vibe and the staff was very nice and helpful. The food was very delicious very juicy and the flavors are on point. I don't really like dry rub but this one it was chef's kiss first time trying this out and I'm glad I did worth the money read more

So for the price, I'm gonna find it hard for me to drive out there just to go again. At $22, each was a bit wild. Aside from that, it was good. Chicken had a lot of flavor, was juicy, and crispy. We all got medium heat sliders with cheese fries. I got a tender with the Reaper spice. They make you sign a waiver. I'm no rookie to heat, I love my spice and eating reapers or scorpion peppers, but this was like the devil violated my mouth. I think it's a mix of the peper powder and capsaicin extract. Almost ruined my day. There was a decent line when we arrived, but it moved fast, and service was good. It's small inside and only offered two tables and a bar like table. Mainly outdoor patio seating. Again, good food, just the price was harder to swallow than the reaper chicken. read more

Very delicious chicken!! I was excited to see how their chicken spicyness had 7 levels and their hottest level called Reaper requires customers to sign a waiver when they order it. That's some serious stuff. The lady supervising the line at the door entrance claimed the Very Hot level which is one below Reaper burned her tongue. As one would expect with any grand opening, a line was out the door over this hyped up chicken. After waiting 2.5 hours, finally got an order of one tender and one slider with an additional side of mac and cheese. I would say the wait was not worth the food but it was all excellent for any other given day once the crowd starts clearing up more. The mac and cheese was delicious as well. I can't wait to try their milkshake next time! The place is very fun and takes on the ambiance of Hollywood since that's its place of origin. read more

First time at Dave's Hot Chicken. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and w/fries and drink $14. Chicken Sandwich 4 out of 5. The "hot" spice didn't disappoint. Good flavor and got my nose running. Add the coleslaw and pickles to the sandwich, you will need it when you run out of chicken to go with the bread. Fries 4 out of 5. Seasoned well and crispy. I ordered a side of cheese sauce in case, but it wasn't necessary. The cheese sauce was meh. The fries alone were delicious. Side of pickles were outstanding! Restaurant was clean, but small. If you like to eat outside it's perfect unless you live in a desert. Oh ya El Paso is a desert! There are only 2 tables inside. Over 12 metal tables outside and no shade. Krystal my server (order taker) was outstanding, her customer service A++. Manager/Supervisor F- instead of just standing there over Krystal's shoulder you could have greeted or even helped in the back to expedite orders (15+ mins) with only one person in front of me. There were at least 7 other people waiting after I got there just standing around waiting for their order. For that I could only give 3 star. If you are pressed for time, definitely order ahead at least 15mins. Don't be afraid to get in the trenches with your employees management, slap an awning outside and it might be the go to chicken spot! read more

Dave's Hot Chicken - Chicken Sandwich (Hot) w/fries - Chicken Shop Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Called in my order since it's been nonstop lines outside. Tried the hot sliders with extra Dave's sauce. Rear was ready in 20 minutes and headed straight the pick up counter where it was waiting for me. The dining room seemed a lil tight so I took it home. They were delish! The heat level wasn't bad but it was kinda hot. They were actually huge pieces of chicken, now that I know how big they are I'll get the one slider instead. Not bad at all. read more

We went to Dave's on August 1st and thought the chicken was good. It would be nice if they served a vegetable, a couple of slices of cucumber or something, with the chicken and French fries. The server needs to slow down her pace of speech. She rattled off the condiments like a computer. It would be good to remember that patrons are people and not all of us are familiar with the restaurant's menu. read more

Polite service. Ambiance is terrible. Not enough options for indoor seating and not enough shade on the patio. In addition to not enough shade, we could not rearrange tables or move umbrellas to escape the sun or the heat. Food was decent but this is fast food. My husband, toddler and I spent $43.00. We could have eaten somewhere else, comfortably in the air conditioning for that price. Been here, done that. read more

3.5 stars is the more accurate rating. My first ever experience of Dave's and I was over the moon excited for this one. What I did like was a few things. The customer service was fine, the cashier was very sweet and polite. The place was covered in cool art that had the feel for Texas and El Paso. The ambience was youthful and summer vibes like. We tried the nuggets, sliders and classic strips. The nuggets were AMAZING. Flavorful, juicy and perfect in every bite. Honestly the highlight of the experience. The strips were the disappointment, they were really dry and lacked flavor and just packed spice. The sliders were no different, the bread was stale and tasted it had been sitting outside for a while. The pickles and slaw were fine, however the slider had a small drizzle of Dave's sauce which was slightly annoying. Everything tasted half assed and rushed besides the nuggets. read more

Great chicken. Always a must to come here and eat. The service was fast and friendly. Clean area and spot.

The food here is amazing, I think sometimes the ambiance is too hectic, especially the workers sometimes they feel frantic and it just makes me wanna take it home to eat but I would definitely recommend! read more

Food is delicious every time despite of the inconsistency of the spiciness. We never know how hot hot will be but we'll always enjoy it. Make sure you call ahead because they take their time but it's worth the wait! It is however pricey. read more

the food was pretty good. is it amazing? no. it's not something i would crave or want everyday. i got the lite milk chicken sandwich with fries. i did not like how the lite mild chicken tasted like there was taco seasoning on it. i'm that type of person that gets grossed out tasting taco seasoning on anything other than tacos. other than that, the other flavors and everything else was yummy. the chicken was pretty moist and not hard. presentation of the food was pretty cool to. overall, if you don't mind the taco seasoning flavoring, i'd recommend it! read more

After my second attempt, (didn't do the long line the1st time) finally got to try Dave's and it didn't disappoint. Chicken tenders were large, juicy, and flavorful, fries were crispy and nicely seasoned, and even the pickles were fresh and crispy. I like spicy food, I like spicy Korean noodles and hot Mex salsas so I got extra hot. I handled it, but it did torch my taste buds. Next time I'll do reg hot, that should be just right. read more

Amazing food little wait but that's because it's new to ep. Friendly staff and great food!!!

I would've gave it 5 starts but it was way too hyped up for the flavors. I was q little disappointed that the chicken had no type of tangy taste it was just a dry rub chili powder type of seasoning. It tasted like bland chicken. Not the worst but not worth a second visit. There was an hour line as well. read more

The chicken is good bussing cause i chicken but not the chicken even it alright i dont like the hot ones just the regular not the good

Food was delish beware of that reaper tho it ain't no joke , people were so nice and friendly, service was meh we saw people leaving with orders who ordered after us, and more than us. Ambiance is nice just the inside is a little small you'd have better luck sitting outside if it isn't hot asf read more

We finally try it. It was good. Customer service was awesome. We did online order so we did not wait in long line.

Food was great. Believe the spice levels as listed. I eat spicy food regularly and extra hot was right at the edge of being to much. I will order Hot next time. read more

Kevin was friendly and nice, also great food! Also place was very clean and organized.

My partner and I went to this establishment because we heard it was very good. It took them not too long to take our order, but after more than 30 minutes people after us keep getting their order. We only ordered two sliders. We went to the counter, and they said they were going to refund me, which they never did and they gave us a free cold mac and cheese. Definitely over hyped. read more

Amazing food and staff . The food is so delicious and Always fresh . The restaurant is clean.

order ahead online before they open and choose the pick up time! Saves so much time. staff was great! the area is clean, it's new, but underwhelming. The fries are seasoned the same as the chicken, flavorless, just cayenne and paprika for "color." The chicken itself is juicy, but lacks flavor. The red color is not seasoning, it's just chile powder. not worth the hype. read more

Good food. Long wait but I understand, it was pretty busy. I will be going back in the future

Chicken is nasty! Is big like for nothing delicious I would not recommend it honestly you can get better chicken in Popeyes!

No cause they clocked that tea!!! The workers were so nice!! Loved the chicken wall art everywhere!! Yall ate!

Line was super long but the food is really good so it was definitely worth the wait. staff was nice and efficient
