The only problem is that it is located pretty far from anywhere I would normally find myself, but I finally gave in, took the long drive to Socorro to check it out, thankfully it didn't disappoint. First of all, the atmosphere at Pollo Culiacan is super authentic, like I feel like I'm eating at a pollo asado restaurant in Mexico authentic, and while that kind of atmosphere isn't rare in El Paso, I really enjoy it. Of course the main reason to take the long trip is the pollo, and it's pretty delicious. I really liked how the chicken is seasoned, hard to describe, but definitely a unique taste, and the zarandeado sauce adds another yummy twist. The chicken is cooked perfectly, I didn't run into a single dry or undercooked piece. They also serve you some delicious grilled onions that are perfect for making tacos. I really enjoyed Pollo Culiacan, it's a ways out for me, but worth the occasional trip!

It was a bit on the salty side but seasoned well. I would definitely eat here again. The fries sucked and that was disappointing because I love that style fry. It's the reason I go to Arby's is because crinkle cut is my favorite style fry. It was stale. Okra was good and the gravy was good. I ordered a fried apple pie but when I got home and had dessert it was cherry‍. It was a red filling. It was good but when taking a bite and tasting tart and seeing red when expecting apple pie.....took me aback for a sec. Overall, the chicken hit the spot and I enjoyed it. I also had their signature iced tea. That was good also.

I had combo (beef and chicken) fajitas and the beef was good (a little on the dry side) and the chicken left a lot to be desired. The chicken was as very thinly sliced white meat = dry and rubbery, hard to chew and no real flavor. Hubby had the beef quesadilla, it looked good and he said it tasted good too. The beans were really great and the rice was good. Over all, I'm not rushing to go back, but it was an ok lunch.

Ive heard alot about this establishment,, so I was eager to try…read more I wish i had good things to day, but I was very disappointed. First, when we ordered the woman on thr register was very cold and not friendly at all. We told her it was our first time there, but no welcome, no smile, and no menu recommendation. What really rubbed us the wrong was was how another couple ordered after us and she was immediately joking, smiling, friendly as as kind as can be? (We stood at the counter close watching and waiting for our order) Kind of disappointing and a slap in the face as a customer, someone that decided to spend their money at your place when it could have been anywhere else, and to not be valued or even treated half pleasantly. As for the food, the fingers are definately no coparison to Caines. They were very very small pieces, more fried coating than chicken, and not flavorful. And the chilli cheese fries had a sweet flavor that we didnt care for, and the chili wqs watery. Gave it a shot, but dont think you want oir patronage.

This was my first time visiting, and I'm really glad I decided to give it a try. The chicken was really good. It was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and I went with the sweet and savory sauce, which paired really well with the chicken. I also ordered the ramen noodles, and they have a pretty cool setup where you can use a machine to add the hot water and cook your own noodles. It was something different and made the experience a little more fun. There was a pretty good crowd inside during my visit, with quite a few people dining in. After trying the food, I can definitely understand why. The restaurant was clean, had nice decor, and there was plenty of seating. They also have a bar area with seating and a selection of adult beverages. Overall, I had a really good first experience here. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was nice, and the place had a good energy without feeling overcrowded. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu options.

The tenders was ok also. Didn't have a taste that would stand out compared to anyone. If you were in a blind tasting test, you would probably tenders from the frozen section at a grocery store.
