Go ahead, open the door and you will see big families, friends and what appears to be regulars all enjoying their meals and each other. Staff was extremely fun and made me feel right at home. This restaurant reminds me to NEVER judge a restaurant from the outside! Wow... had the steak ribeye. Fantastic! First time I have had a steak cooked perfectly at a restaurant in a long, long time! Onion rings, worth the up charge! Burgers...Amazing! Drinks, perfection! A lot of fun, a lot of food and great staff! I will be back soon and often! 5 stars!

For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. Cheers, Steddy's. I will never go back for this overpriced miserable food.

Their Cheesesteaks are superb either way; "Wid or wideout". Now, if they could just get Frank's soda (black cherry .... Mmmmmm). I tried their hoagie one time and I wasn't super crazy about it. Could've been an off day. One problem with parking at their place in the Silos, it is very limited and neighboring shops are not too friendly to non customers using their parking.

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing. We came from Clemson to attend a play in Pelzer and decided to have lunch here first. It is not a destination restaurant. The menu is very chicken heavy. Started with 8 smoked wings as an appetizer, bbq sauced with a side of hot sauce. Received 4 bbq wings and 4 hot wings. Now the wings were smoked nice and very good. Both ordered half-and-half tea. I received unsweetened. They had meatloaf as a Sunday special. I got it, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, and a side salad. The side salad was really nice and worth ordering. The cornbread was jalapeño cornbread, but not described that way on the menu. The mashed potatoes and gravy should not be ordered. Period. They were both reconstituted, fake and a tiny portion. The meatloaf was a good size portion, but tasted like a seasoned hamburger. Thankfully the bbq sauce on the table saved it. Her chicken salad sandwich was good and a nice size portion, but again it was different than described on the menu. She said it tasted like smoked chicken. The banana pudding was very unremarkable but looked nice. We might give it another try if we're in the area and hungry, but it's not in the "let's remember this place" list.
